    Pork Belly Burnt Ends

Pork belly is bomb.... Was missing the pork belly at full send, so we went to smorgasborg this last weekend. Flavors were still bomb, as we remembered, but it came out a bit cold, which was a bummer. Still great texture, and smorgasborg is a great vibe, but hoping it's hotter next time.

First time at Smorgasburg in Los Angeles and had to try this spot out. The line was long but it goes by fast. Since it was the first time eating Full Send BBQ, had to get the Meat Flight Sampler with a pork rib for $35. Every single meat was delicious and full of flavor, amazing food.

I meet this company and the owner recently. Had them cater a birthday party. His bbq is far the best I ever had. All his meats and side are amazing his staff very helpful and knowledgeable of what he had to offer on his menu. His Chimichurri is amazing. Pairs well with his meats. If you have not tried this what are you waiting for. Find him at a pop event or have him fatter your event you won't regret

The location we went to was the one at Smorgasburg LA at RowDTLA only open on Sunday's from 10am-4pm. We saw the owner working hard and passed out samples of pork belly for everyone in line which was really nice and thoughtful. It was also delicious. We did a 2 meat combo of pork belly burnt crumbs with brisket, and a side of mac-n-cheese. The brisket was not dry at all, so tender and juicy. You have to add the chimichurri sauce. For how busy it was, we waited about 15 minutes for the food which isnt bad at all.

Full Send BBQ is the best bbq in LA. Dominik is not only a pit master he is an army veteran and you always gotta support your local veteran company. Let's get into this plate right here, a two item plate with juicy pulled pork, tenderness pork belly, adobo brisket garic rice and a creamy mac and cheese. The star of the show is that calamansi chimichurri that pares amazing with EVERYTHING. Their entire menu is amazing and you will never be disappointed. Dominick changed the game of bbq with his Filipino/Texas fusion bbq! Thank you to Full Send BBQ for always being at Smorgasbord and creating such delicious food!

I been swine free since 93, but sometimes duty calls. So lemme set the scene. Im at Smorgasbord LA for the first time and we get there the moment it opens. Its me, my dog, my boyfriend (the one Ive been going through it with) and were just out to have a lovely time before I have to stop eating for 36 hours. Cuz see a back ache lead to an xray that lead to an MRI which revealed a giant steak shaped ribeye looking cyst and i had to start pre op fasting in 5 hours. So i was ready to eat EVERYTHING!! Except pork. But my dog is an avid pork eater. Like, allergic to all things beef, chicken, turkey and refuses to eat fish. So pork it is. Every four days or so i roast a pork shoulder, and chop it up with kale carrots and yams and voila. He eats better than most people. ...which is a hassle especially if i FORGET to pack his food, cause I cant just feed him anything i find. Which is exactly what happened on this day. Im at Smorgasbord stuffing my face, trying a million different things and my dog is like bruuuuhhhhh wtf. So i see this place which smells amazing but clearly isnt for my non pork eating self. But i know who it might be for!!! so i pull up and make the most first world request ever... "do you sell, like a pound of pork, i can get for mY dog?" And they were like YES!! One of the chefs conferred with two of the ladies inside the tent who were helping me and eventually came over and was like "so this IS what Imma do? Ima make him a pound of our pulled park cause it has the least amount of spices in it. And ill take off as much of the spice infused bark as possible, so it shouldn't affect his stomach." It was a win for me. I happily dropped the $17 bucks and came back in 10 mins like they asked me to. And returned to my dog with a pound of pull pork hot out the smoker. And when i tell you my dog never reacts to mmyyyyyy food like this, EVER.... i knew it mustve been good. He inhaled it. And i gotta say, it smelled & looked BOOMMMBBB. I almost took a teeny bite but #WILLPOWER hella strong. All this to say... even though I didn't eat the food, I wanted to just off the fact that it smelled so damn good, and the people were so incredibly nice and helpful. So if you rolll by them and you dine on the swine, GO GIVE IT A SHOT, and tell me if I'm correct. cuz if smell and my picky ass dog is an indicator, they Win!!!

Growing up in SoCal I've spent so much time just being stuffed to the brim with food from my Filipino friends houses growing up. When I heard a spot is mixing those flavors into Texas style barbecue I had to stop by. The brisket was wonderfully moist and paired perfectly with the chimi that I got on the side. Honestly that chimi went perfectly on everything. I forgot I got another sauce until I finished all the food. I poured it on the rice. On the rib. On the esquites. The pork belly was wonderfully citrusy. Kind of a mandarin orange flavored glaze. lol I felt like I was sitting in front of the TV just mindlessly peeling and eating those suckers. The thing that wowed me the most is the longganisa sausage. Damn that was so good. I usually take a bite of everything once before moving on to the next meat or side but that just captivated me. The sweet and sour and meaty flavors that you got from longganisa just with a bit of smoke. Probably the best longganisa I've had. I found Full Send BBQ popped up at Smorgasburg LA. I really couldn't figure out how to get in so. . . I did hope a fence and tear my jeans lol. Worth the damage lol. There was another spot during these event I wanted to check out but they didnt come today. But that just means I have another reason to come back and another reason to grab some Full Send Bbq.

I'll start off with the parking. There's plenty of parking in the shopping center if you get there early enough. The decor was on par with the theme. The place is not big but every inch of this place was decorated. Definitely gave a Halloween vibe. My husband and I wanted to try the food. At the entrance I was told to ask a waitress about a table. Some were reserved already so we waited a little while. Paola hooked us up with a table about 10 minutes later. We ordered our food and some drinks and within 10 minutes we were eating. We ordered some wings a burger and Cajun fries. Everything was delicious and although the drinks are kind of pricey they were delicious. Paola kept checking in on us and once we were ready to close the tab, she got us a high top table by the area where people were dancing. She still would check in on us from time to time and even brought us some water. So shout out to her! The dj played good music and the whole place was vibing. Everyone was having a good time. They played music that made me reminisce of my high school days as well as current music. The only thing I was not to fond of was the bathroom. Only two stalls for the women's restroom and a bathroom for either gender. At times the line would be long. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves very much and would definitely go back next year if they do it again.

The steak was 3/5, good flavor, but dry and tough. * Garlic Parmesan Wings 4.5/5 - These wings were juicy, gooey, and garlicky. They were a bit greasy, but still really good. * Sinigang Wings 5/5 - These were my favorite. They were kinda like lemon pepper wings with really good flavor.
