Friendly and patient sales staff who made me feel like I was listened to and the buying experience was pretty much hassle-free. I was somewhat sceptical to go there based on some other Yelp reviews, but I took their review-as you should take mine- with a grain of salt. Especially nowadays, a used car dealership won't last long 'hiding' mechanical faults in cars, and so far, my car has been without major fault. 10/10 would buy from them again.

It all started off quite well. Communication was great and very clear. Once I made the drive there it went about as smooth as I expected. The first vehicle I wanted sold before I could see it but I had two other options to look at. I tried to bargain a bit and finally worked on the one I really wanted. There were some cosmetic issues I wanted taken care of and I was given the ok for it by the manager. I left and had to come back. When I came back nothing I asked for was fixed or addressed and they didn't have the title which meant I would have to come back a third time once it arrived. That was a nnoying because if I didn't mention it, each trip there, I was coming from Niagara Falls. So, it was annoying that they sold me a vehicle they didn't have a title for and I had to drive around with dealer plates. They offered to pay for a tank of gas upon my return. So I drove out and yes they filled up the tank from there but I had to drive home and still fill it up myself. I really disliked the way in which things were done overall and I can't say I would reccomend this place to anyone. I'm happy with my vehicle because I know the market is tough right now but I'm reminded of why I don't like car shopping. Hopefully I won't have to do this again for a very long time.

We were busy so I suggested to him that I go directly to Beam Mack and pick up the air bag versus bringing the truck in, writing it up and then him or the mechanic running around and chasing it. He said good idea, go for it. I headed to Beam Mack. :) Being such a big place I pulled Nell out back and asked a few of the employees who were talking where to go, they directed me. I went inside to the parts department and was greeted by a gentleman named Brian. He came outside and looked at the problem, took some measurements, went back to the parts department and returned with an air bag. He did a double take on my bad one and remeasured the new one and said this should work. When I took it back to our shop, the mechanic put it on. Perfect fit. Beam Mack has been around for approximately half a century. They're involved with the Conway family I believe. They have 5 locations. Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Watertown and Elmira. They're involved in truck sales, rentals, and leasing. Mack, Volvo,Isuzu, Hino and Western snow plow products they handle. They're a good bunch there, I recommend them.
