I…read morehad good luck with used cars and being from the Canandaigua area, there is an entire road where it's auto dealership after auto dealership. I wanted to find something different than what I've driven before; mostly 4-door sedans and grocery-getters. Passed by Auto Outlets and out front was a nice looking black VW Beetle. Not quite Herbie but interesting enough for me to stop in and check it out. I didn't start out with express interest in the car, but let them lead me around to take a look at what was in stock. Friendly and patient sales staff who made me feel like I was listened to and the buying experience was pretty much hassle-free. I was somewhat sceptical to go there based on some other Yelp reviews, but I took their review-as you should take mine- with a grain of salt. Especially nowadays, a used car dealership won't last long 'hiding' mechanical faults in cars, and so far, my car has been without major fault. 10/10 would buy from them again.

To update my review. After my daughter put out her review here, they contacted her stating they…read morewould like to fix this issue. So, where were they when we went in?! WITH not just us, but also family members AS WITNESSES to being kicked out politely, ignored & sent away with the engine problem that still has not been fixed by them or acknowledged regarding warranty etc. Her warranty was canceled without her notice even the loan company is questioning why we have had to go through all this with them! Therefore, they are suddenly acting like they care....shameful! When I say, we will sue for mental anguish, loss of work, danger to my grandchildren & my daughter!!!! What will they do next?! We expect this fixed or we will go as high as we can to make sure no one else goes through anything like this. I have lost a LOT of money due to this & so has my daughter...will they pay her for her loss of work?! For the mental damages?! For the fear it caused our family when the tire rod disconnected with my grandsons in the back seat?! They passed inspection while it should NEVER have passed. This is dirty! And NOW they respond?! We purchased this vehicle in 2023, it is now 2025 & they have done absolutely nothing but cause us anguish & anger for stealing our money from us. And hurting my daughter's career as, like anyone else, she needs a reliable vehicle to get to & from work!!! Will they actually FIX or REPLACE with a BETTER OPTION due to ALL our losses from a dirty auto dealership!!!! We will spread this everywhere until this issue is fixed!

Not so good: at least 4 items on check list were not done, but checked off as being okay Only shown how a couple features worked. It all started off quite well. Communication was great and very clear. Once I made the drive there it went about as smooth as I expected. The first vehicle I wanted sold before I could see it but I had two other options to look at. I tried to bargain a bit and finally worked on the one I really wanted. There were some cosmetic issues I wanted taken care of and I was given the ok for it by the manager. I left and had to come back. When I came back nothing I asked for was fixed or addressed and they didn't have the title which meant I would have to come back a third time once it arrived. That was a nnoying because if I didn't mention it, each trip there, I was coming from Niagara Falls. So, it was annoying that they sold me a vehicle they didn't have a title for and I had to drive around with dealer plates. They offered to pay for a tank of gas upon my return. So I drove out and yes they filled up the tank from there but I had to drive home and still fill it up myself. I really disliked the way in which things were done overall and I can't say I would reccomend this place to anyone. I'm happy with my vehicle because I know the market is tough right now but I'm reminded of why I don't like car shopping. Hopefully I won't have to do this again for a very long time.

The other day while on a run I blew and air-bag on "Big Nell". It happens in the trucking business…read more After I unloaded, I called my manager and told him. We were busy so I suggested to him that I go directly to Beam Mack and pick up the air bag versus bringing the truck in, writing it up and then him or the mechanic running around and chasing it. He said good idea, go for it. I headed to Beam Mack. :) Being such a big place I pulled Nell out back and asked a few of the employees who were talking where to go, they directed me. I went inside to the parts department and was greeted by a gentleman named Brian. He came outside and looked at the problem, took some measurements, went back to the parts department and returned with an air bag. He did a double take on my bad one and remeasured the new one and said this should work. When I took it back to our shop, the mechanic put it on. Perfect fit. Beam Mack has been around for approximately half a century. They're involved with the Conway family I believe. They have 5 locations. Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Watertown and Elmira. They're involved in truck sales, rentals, and leasing. Mack, Volvo,Isuzu, Hino and Western snow plow products they handle. They're a good bunch there, I recommend them.
