Fuller Moving Services did an excellent job helping with our move from Rocklin down to San Diego. The team was very professional in protecting our furniture and house moving such big items (couch, TVs, fridge, washer/dryer, table, etc.) by wrapping doorways and the items themselves with special padding. They came with extra boxes and tape too which was nice for those odds and ends we still had to pack the day of. They called when they were on the way and showed up on time at both pickup and delivery. Kipp was the main guy in charge and he was absolutely amazing! I had the unfortunate experience of using Fuller Moving Services. What they quoted us was changed and the driver lied to us about some items that were supposed to be packed by them were not and charged anyway. The driver used an electric screw driver to take refrigerator door handles off, which stripped the threads on the whole assembly. I had to replace everything he ruined. What a poor excuse for a lazy driver. Also, my friend who was moving to the same town, had 1/3 of his stuff in my load with North American and his belongings were suppose to be there 4 days earlier per the agreement. These people are unorganized and don't mind stretching the truth for their benefit. When our belongings were finally delivered, we definitely had some damages to some irreplaceable items that were denied even though Wendy said she would definitely take care of it. Wendy assured us the claims given to them would be dealt with immediately, we went back and forth for several weeks which led to almost two months and then after all the waiting she told us we would have to submit the claim to North American Van Lines. Why couldn't she just say this upfront? I would never refer North American to anyone. Crappy service. Beware!!!! I would seriously caution anyone on using this company for their moving needs because They engage in very unethical business practices such as the following: 1. We were quoted an estimated price for our belongings that was much heavier than the actual weight of our 4 previous moves that contained about 1/3 more items. This brought up our first reservation about using Fuller Moving. When we brought our concerns to their attention they reduced the estimated weight and estimated cost pending the production of an empty and loaded weight ticket for the truck containing our belongings to justify any increase. This seemed reasonable to us so we proceeded with using them. 2. They charged a 2K increase for a shuttle, to shuttle our belongings out of a storage into the long haul truck because they claimed their driver couldn't get their long haul truck into our storage facility which had plenty of room for a truck of its size. Then the day of the move they showed up with two smaller trucks to load our belongings and transport them to their storage facility in Sacramento to await a long haul truck. This caused my belonging to sustain 2 unnecessary moves and abnormal amounts of damage. Plus they charged me 2k for their convenience. Again, we called and complained that it was unethical for them to charge for a shuttle that was used for their convenience and not for necessity of our move. We were furious, if we had known their intentions we would have just waited till they had a long haul truck available instead of being charged an unnecessary 2K and our belongings sustaining unnecessary damage. The owner argued with us and gave us a bunch of BS excuses. 3. Then when they got our stuff to their storage facility they claimed the weight of our items were much heavier and again increased our cost 3K. We again disagreed and demanded a weight ticket showing the truck numbers with their empty and loaded weights with our belongings only. The owner again argued and finally produced two tickets that did not contain all of the information required and with hand written totals at the bottom. Not a legitimate weight document to warrant an increase. But they had our belongings hostage so we had no choice to pay the bill to get our stuff. 4. We paid an additional $350.00 to have my commercial embroidery machine crated. When they delivered our belongings I just happened to be there and witnessed the workers unload a large rectangle box with no lid, containing no packing material and my 15K embroidery machine that was supposed to be crated! As they unloaded it onto the hand truck I witnessed the machine slide and crash into the end of the box, smashing through the box and damaging it beyond repair. I was furious! I called the owner again and all he did was lie and give excuses....how the crate they brought was too small...that they did their best to pack it....blah blah blah! I told him his excuses were totally BS as they had 3 opportunities to pack it in the crate we paid for and they didn't so that is gross negligence! I demanded my money back for the crating. He said he would send the check that day. 4 weeks later no check. I had to call again and threaten him to get the money back. 5. The truck driver openly admitted to us that this company NEVER weighs their trucks loaded and they just over estimate to make sure they cover their costs. So what we had initially thought about the weights being falsified was indeed correct. 6. Now their company refuses to cover the cost of the deductible and cost to repair my machine they destroyed by not crating it and the abnormal damage to my other belongings. Over 30K of damages! Because of all of this we are now reporting them to the following entities: The BBB for their unethical business practices, The State Utility and Transportation Commission for having unlicensed drivers and for not having requires state and CDL drivers logs, The Department of Weight and Measures for fraudulently falsifying weight tickets to validate over charging, and pursuing a court case to sue them for damages! Anyone willing to file a class action suit against this company to get their money back please contact me I would be interested in helping! read more

We were able to get an in-home estimate quickly, by Daniel, who was very thorough and efficient and also nice. And the movers themselves were the best. Thank you Christopher and Arturo! Awesome movers. I have moved 7 times in the last 10 years. This was the best! Very professional. My 1st move with Roseville was last minute when our house sold and I needed to pack & move. They were extremely flexible on the date. The packing crew was efficient and the move crew the following day were pleasant considering in was July and Sac weather is pretty steamy. The stayed positive and hard working. I moved my house into storage for 7 months, crossing my fingers. 7 months layer with a complicated move to San Fransisco and a stop on the Peninsula - all on a rainy winter day. I would never use this moving company again, nor would I recommend them to anyone!!!!!! My husband decided on Fullers at it was cheaper than the other estimate we received, from Cali to Idaho. Three movers came to pack on the first day. As the job was not complete due to lack of boxes and supplies, 2 had to come back the following day. These two loaded a u-haul where boxes and items were just thrown in. Mother load trucking and his two loaders were appalled at the u-haul loading from Fullers. Mother load trucking took photos of the u-haul and a box that had our 60' tv in it. There was NO packing materials used to keep the tv safe. When the Fullers boys said they were done, my husband and I looked in the garage and there so many items left in the garage that still needed to be packed up. When we made it to our destination in Idaho, the trucking company began to unload boxes. There were several boxes that had no description, so it was a guess as to what was in the box. Some boxes were completely mislabeled, so what should have been bedroom was labeled kitchen. The glass in pictures were broken, flower arrangements were completely bent and broken, dried flower arrangements from my mothers funeral ended up shambles, (unreplacable). They had put outside dirty flower pots on top of white bedding. My silverware drawer never made it to Idaho and now Fullers will not return my calls to get my silver replaced for $120. We're in the process of moving and while gathering up some paperwork, i ran across the invoice from Roseville Van and Storage for our move here 14 years ago. I swear this was the team of movers they'd showed on Dateline. They quoted me in writing, one price, but after all our furniture was on their trunk, they came to deliver at our new home and used some excuse that their manager had quoted the job based on 3 people, but one was sick and there was only two. Therefore it was going to be a bigger job for two and take more time. Bottom line, the driver charged me something like 100-200 more (in cash), on the spot! Something tells me, if i hadn't paid, they would have drove off into the sunset with all our furniture! Beware! I would not have given them one star, but seems that i have to. read more

Barbara and three of her hard working crew (Richard, Kip and Steven) had my furniture wrapped, moved to garage (scruffy stuff) and loaded in their van (the good oak/hardwood pieces) in under two hours. 2100 square feet of various and sundry. Arriving and offloading at Sun City was a repeat of the efficiency noted early in the Pocket area. From furniture (some quite onerous - requiring disasssembly) to cardboard shipping boxes to sturdy wardrobe contains (clothing on hangers)............ My husband and I are planning a move from CA to WA state in April. We contacted North American Movers and spoke to Barbara who came and gave us an estimate. She seemed knowledgeable but we were concerned that the packing and loading would take 4 days. We have moved several times having lived in 9 states due to my husband's job and never had movers take that long. We were satisfied with the estimate and locked in our moving dates for April (estimate was done in January). When confirming our dates, I asked Barbara about storage in WA because we will live in our RV in WA until our CA home sells and we buy a new one in WA. She also said she had to check on ferry fees to which I told her it was not necessary to go on a ferry (we are moving to an island off WA). I received a text from Barbara giving me a price of $4500 for placing our items in storage and one month's storage. No breakdown of how she came to that amount or storage fee itself - an amount that increased her original estimate by 50%! No information - just that she added $4500 to our estimate. We found a much more upfront moving company that is charging $900 to place our belongings in storage, pay 1 month storage and deliver to our new home. I contacted. Barbara by text that we would use another company and she basically said fine and never offered an explanation as to why she added so much to our original estimate. Fuller Moving Service from Sacramento, CA was a complete nightmare. The sales rep, DK, made many promises that were just lies. My iMac21 desktop computer was stolen, A customer should not have to worry about identification theft or serious damage to property. If you look at the photos of our dining room chairs, they are seriously damaged and must be repaired by professional furniture carpenters. The same goes for the marble top that was destroyed - an heirloom marble dresser top that has been in my family since the 1920s. Fuller Moving first denied that I had an iMac 21 until I proved that it was in my master bedroom office photo. Of the 100 wine boxes I packed only 71 were delivered, 29 boxes of property are still missing and Fuller Moving has done nothing to locate them. All our stuff was in storage and he denies that our property was stolen. This company has a license to lie, cheat and steal from unsuspecting senior citizens. I filed 4 pages of stolen and destroyed property and am still waiting for the company to respond to these losses that total up to about $24,000. We paid them upfront $14,500 so no excuse to steal and destroy my property. I'e like to give this a minus rating but it 's not available. I expect your company to cover the losses and deductible in full including replacement of the embroidery machine as your gross negligencet is what caused the problem and during the 3 times you moved the machine (from the storage unit to your shuttle, from your shuttle to your facility in Sacramento, from your facility in Sacramento to the long haul truck) you could have corrected the issue with the machine not being crated. You never admitted to not creating it and were just trying to scam me by charging and not providing the services. You just didnt expect me to catch what your company had done. I will in fact be moving forward with the complaints against your companies licensing. I will also be filing a court case against your company for any and all damages incurred. I gave you an opportunity to fix your mistakes and you continue to treat me and my husband as if we are fools. You will learn from you mistake I promise you that! We moved from Sacramento to Las Vegas. The 3 movers arrived right on time. I had boxed everything ahead of time. They wrapped and secured the furniture items and had the truck packed in 2 hours. It was amazing how efficiently they worked. When the truck arrived in Las Vegas, I was distressed to see only 1 man (Kip) in the truck. He managed the whole load with a little help from two of my daughter's friends. Kip was amazing, working nearly alone and with some of the unloading happening after the sun set too. Run dont walk from Fuller moving!!!! , they are a horrible company to hire. They charged me $6,500 + for a full service pack out move, which was suppose to take 2 days it took four, they were understaffed in people and tools to do the job. They had to borrow my tools due to them not having any for the four days in moving me. They were ill prepared with ramps on my front entry way that cause damaged to my steps and entry way. I have spent the last five weeks going through there insurance company to finally have them deny more then half the damage. They refused to do the right thing during the move and of course now. Do not let them full you with there "premier" talk, there ownership never once has contacted me even though I have repeatedly asked them to do so. As much as it pains me I guess I will have to have my day in court with them, because they will not do the right thing!!!! read more

Fuller was the only moving company who actually came to our house to do an estimate. I appreciated this and this is why I am giving one of the above stars. The other star is for them (kind of inadvertently) giving me a moving hints that I used and that definitely made our move faster and consequently cheaper. But we did not hire Fuller. They were not only more per hour by about $40-$50 than any of the other movers I spoke to, they estimated our move would take 8 hours-three times as long as it actually took the company we hired to move us. The guy just kept talking about how much stuff we had, like we were hoarders or something. Our old house was 1200 sq ft and we are a family of 5, so it probably looked like a lot in that small space, especially since I was in the middle of sorting and packing and boxes and stuff was everywhere. But wouldn't he be used to that? I am pretty sure the amount of stuff we have is average. I asked about a cheaper option, and they said they could do it with 3 people which would be slightly less per hours, but then he said that would also take 8 hours, and that did not make any sense to me and I knew by then I did not want to use this company. But I was starting to think we would never find a mover (it was very busy time of year and everyone was booking up) so I asked for a written estimate so I could show my husband. They told me they would email me a written estimate in a couple hours of their walk through, and I never got an email. I called them the next day and left a message. This message was never returned. Luckily we found another moving co. who were less per hour, and they did an excellent job and moved us in 2.5 hours. read more

I have used a lot of moving companies and have done out of state moves more than once. Fuller Moving is the company that was used to move me out of state. I have listed the pros and cons I experienced during my move. The representative that came out to do my estimate and was my point of contact throughout the move was very friendly and helpful. The quote was more decent than I thought it would be and I received my belongings within the window that they quoted me. The movers that were used were very friendly, efficient, and timely. I had a hard time understanding the driver and he was not the friendliest person. He did not explain any of the paperwork, just told me where to sign. (thank goodness I have been through this before) and when I received my stuff, did not explain the process of checking sticker numbers on items to the check off list that they gave me (again, I knew better, just thought this was odd), some items were not numbered correctly or mislabeled on the sheet he gave me, which caused a little confusion in making sure I had received all my items (but I did receive all of my items!), the movers did not completely unpack everything at the destination which resulted in them leaving several moving blankets behind. Some of the furniture they assembled was not complete, bed frames were loose as well as legs on tables. Overall, they were an alright moving company to use, just a couple minor issues that took my rating down a little. read more

They had to pack the truck quickly as the City was paving my mom's street and did a great job. They arrived on both ends in a timely manner and were very professional and nice. We called Fuller moving service on Roseville Road, Sacramento, and right from the start we had a very positive experience. On the day of the moving they sent Evan and Cameron and they arrived right when they said they would. They began by putting runners on all the floors and covering all the furniture. They packed everything expertly and moved us to our new house. First they put runners down, then began bringing everything in with care and respect. We couldn't have had a better experience. Evan and Cameron worked really hard and reminded me of young men when I was younger. They were careful, respectful, and polite, which is a lost art these days. Just look at all the one star reviews this establishment has received, and judge for yourself. I dealt with the owner, as my move took place in June of 2012. I simply withheld my review until I realized that my account was not going to be credited as promised. My credit card was indeed charged beforehand, as my statement clearly shows it was charged prior to the move taking place. I have just been responsible for the oversight of the closure of a worksite that employed over 150 people. During this process I have worked with several shipping companies, truckers, and vendors, and required the packing, loading and shipping of items to 5 different locations nationwide. Over and over, I was met with circumstances that led me to believe that my expectations were simply too high; I was repeatedly dissatisfied and frustrated with the level of service I was provided. Roseville Van and Storage proved to me that my expectations were not the problem. From the time I walked my facility with Nathan, through the end of the packing and loading process, the level of professionalism was simply unmatched by any others I have come in contact with. I spent 3 solid days with the crew that executed the packaging and loading of our items. This crew was the only one I knew didn't require hand-holding. They arrived with the proper paperwork; the planning had been properly handled. They assessed the items to be addressed, rolled with every change and hiccup that we encountered, from the surprise items that we added last minute, to the late truckers, to the location changes. You can be absolutely certain that Roseville Van and Storage will arrive when they commit to doing so, and handle all of your belongings with care and consideration. I still can't believe how tightly they packed that truck! I am not the type of person to spend time writing Internet reviews. Generally, my attitude is that I'm busy, and frankly, we're all supposed to do the job well that we are paid for. But the drastic difference in service between this company and all the others I have come in contact with in the last month warranted my taking the time to document my satisfaction. I am still in disbelief at what a horrible experience we had moving. Last July we moved a 4,000 sq foot house from Lincoln to Rocklin and I am dreading another move just under a year later. This time I am searching reviews on Yelp before we interview anyone. I understand moving is a tough dreaded job. That being said, I still don't want to listen to the movers complain all day like they did. Also I was very annoyed that one of the movers thought it was ok to smoke inside the back of the truck with all my belongings. He would take a drag then leave it burning on the floor of the truck while he helped move something else and then come back to it. The worst part is that a large number of items were damaged with scrapes and some items had chunks of wood taken out. Two pieces of furniture were irreparable and taken to the dump. Some examples are: an arm of a wooden bench was broken off in multiple pieces, large pieces of the corner of pillars to a canopy bed were broken off, and the t.v. stand gauged. I would not recommend using their storage either. I am missing a large box of pictures from my entire childhood and an antique teachers desk looks as if something too heavy was placed on top of it for months. The large hand carved round stool my father made me fell into pieces when I opened the box. My husband emailed and called the company with no response. Now that I am facing moving again the anger is resurfacing and I an nervous about finding a company that takes pride in their services. When we spend thousands of dollars to move, a much better experience is expected. Do not hire this company! read more

Fuller Moving exceeded our expectations and made a very stressful move the best it could be. They were careful with all of our possessions including my oversized house plants and my husband's golf cart. They were incredibly fast and efficient but didn't mind addressing our questions or concerns. I don't think I have ever seen 4 guys work harder. They loaded 2 trucks and moved us from Tahoe to Lincoln in one day. I called several moving companies and am so happy I chose Fuller. It was extremely helpful to have Nathan look at what we needed to move first and I was totally blown away when he was willing to drive to Tahoe to do it.
