Fuller Moving exceeded our expectations and made a very stressful move the best it could be. They were careful with all of our possessions including my oversized house plants and my husband's golf cart. They were incredibly fast and efficient but didn't mind addressing our questions or concerns. I don't think I have ever seen 4 guys work harder. They loaded 2 trucks and moved us from Tahoe to Lincoln in one day. I called several moving companies and am so happy I chose Fuller. It was extremely helpful to have Nathan look at what we needed to move first and I was totally blown away when he was willing to drive to Tahoe to do it. I found Roseville Van and Storage through the California Moving and Storage Association (CMSA). I was looking for a licensed and insured mover to move my grandmother's desk from Clovis, CA to El Dorado Hills, CA and CMSA gave me about three movers. I choose Roseville Van and storage when I spoke with Wendy there on the phone because she was so nice and accommodating and bent over backwards to help with this move so I decided to hire them to do this. They did as promised and the owner, Nathan and his son, delivered the antique desk in excellent condition. It was a few months later that I acquired a job in the Bay Area and needed to put my belongings in storage. So I called Roseville Van and Storage again because I was so happy with their quality of service. They packed all my things for me and did it very quickly and efficiently and put the majority of my furniture and household items in their climate controlled storage vaults until I was ready to move the rest of the way. I paid a monthly rent plus insurance which was very reasonable. There was some confusion about the "not to exceed estimate" but Nathan explained that it cost more to unload into storage and load again to do the final move so I then understood the higher cost. When they moved me into my new residence just a week ago everything went very smoothly and the two men that did the move in were mannerly, efficient, and did what I asked them to do very happily. So far, I only have one casualty (a small serving dish) out of all the boxes they packed for me and one small item I haven't found yet. Pretty good odds I would say. Two men from Fuller Moving Services were almost two hours late to help me move in September 2020. It was in December 2021 after looking at some old photos that I noticed some of my belongings were missing. I remembered that I had one box full of my memorabilia from playing tennis at the National Sports Festival in 1982, International Junior Tennis Championships in Pirmasens, Germany, Sacramento City College Collegiate Tennis, and Athletic Award Letter from Luther Burbank HS. I had 4 tennis rackets (Pro Kennex and Black Max) and some silver plate trophies. One very important item (created by my dad) was a framed photo of me marching with other athletes at the 1982 National Sports Festival (An Olympic Sponsored Event) and part of a Sports magazine article showing my name as winning the Women's Bronze Medal at the 1982 National Sport Festival. It was in one box that these two men may have forgotten in the truck (I don't know) and not put it in my apartment where I moved to a Senior Apartment. If these two men remember where they misplaced my box with these memorabilia that is irreplaceable, or if anyone recognizes it, can they please return it back to me. Thank you. Cecilia V. I have had to use Fuller three times in the last two years as we've progressively downsized my father's home. We've only seen professionalism with the company. The first time was a father (can't remember his name), and his very nice son Coby, and the owner's son. That was in 2017. The third time, just yesterday, was Coby again and Andrew. Andrew was great and helped us with some things he didn't have to do. Both were very kind considering the situation. Their prices seemed quite reasonable each time and friends I've spoken with about the pricing have agreed. I'm very surprised with some of the other reviews as our three-time experience has been very different. read more

Horrible customer service. Was told they would call twice to give me a quote. They never called. Both times they gave me a scheduled time that they would call back. In setting up a cross-country move Nathan Fuller can definitely over promise and under deliver. I definitely should not have taken the words of his staff into consideration "we build in a few extra days for delivery for unforeseen circumstances related to travel, inclement weather, road closure etc. Rarely do we ever take that long to deliver." Okay, that makes sense I thought & now I am told, it will be 12 days since loading the delivery of our household items will be made. This forced me to be without personal items for over a week after we originally were to have them delivered. read more

Terrible service!! Damaged my doorframe. Lost some of my belongings. They brought someone else's belongings that I was charged for storing. And then they denied damaging my doorframe even though I was standing there when they did it. They are not honest and the job they did was very amateurish. I would never ever use them again. We were moving from CA to AZ. It was our first time moving and needing a moving company. So, we picked a moving broker and did not realize what we got ourselves into. We figured out that they were not a good company and the reviews we read made us wonder if we would ever see our household goods again. They were set to come on a Friday and we cancelled that contract and contacted Nathan at Fuller Moving on Thursday. He was absolutely wonderful and understood we HAD to get our goods moved within a week. (Our home was closing escrow!) Nathan came to our home, gave us an accurate bid and put us on the calendar for the next week. The three men that came to move our goods were totally professional and were VERY careful with our home and goods. When everything was delivered to us in AZ, it was all there and in great shape. They took advantage of me because I am old and did know the market price for moving. They charged me $1,986.72 for a small one bedroom apartment local move! I was referred to Fuller moving company to move my elderly parents into assisted living. Barbara personally came out and was wonderful with my folks and made them feel very comfortable. They were given a very reasonable estimate with no hidden costs. Moving day came and they were on time, efficient, and very careful with all of their items. This is the third time that we have used Fuller Moving services. Every time, including today, staff are extremely professional, easy to work with, the move goes smoothly, and the prices are reasonable. It's basically a no worries moving company. For example, today's move had us cleaning out an apartment, moving some furniture to another house, and asking them to donate the remainder of the furniture. I couldn't have had for an easier time. This is the second time I've used the services of a North American franchise, and I was not disappointed. At both pick-up and delivery ends, the movers were exceptionally professional and competent. They had all of the supplies they needed, were careful with my belongings, and followed my directions about where to place everything in my new house. Communication about the delivery date was poor, but a call to Nathan Fuller, the franchise owner, straightened things out immediately. "We scheduled a move a last month with them and what a horrible experience. I met Jerry on 3-4 occasions for our move b/c we had to delay it 2-3 times due to the new house not being complete. He was kind, sounded experienced and looked like they were genuinely interested in making this the easiest move possible... We have moved many times in the past 6-7 yrs.. Their quote was higher than other companies I interviewed but thought b/c they were backed up by north American, they would be the safest to go with. Big mistake. They pulled up introduced themselves. Spent 1/2 hour backing up/ positioning the truck to get down my driveway... Then spent 20-30 min laying plywood & cardboard at the entry.....which they did not lay at the new house that had fresh new tile laid 2-3 wks ago....they sent only 3 out of 4 guys they promised(and when the fourth came 1 1/2 hrs later he did nothing). They worked on loading the truck then sat outside for an hour debating what to do b/c after the truck was half full & they felt if they filled it any more they may not be able to get out without scratching the driveway. Being 8 months pregnant & with two kids under 3, i could not go outside to see what the problem was. My husband had to leave work & found them sitting outside with one truck 1/2 full & the other empty. We called the office & were told they were unable to reach Jerry. We managed to get a hold of Nathan ( the owner) and asked him why they couldn't just park at the top of the driveway & have the men continue loading the truck.....we were paying by the hour & we had requested to have all the items moved except for 2 bedroom sets that were scheduled to be moved with them the following week. Nathan made lame excuses & insisted that filling the trucks half way was more cost effective... And made excuses about these being the wrong trucks for driveway but b/c these were then only trucks they had left for the day, it was all they could send.... the second truck couldn't even be used b/c it was wrong for our driveway. They moved only 1/4 of our belongings. Meanwhile the movers take off to the new house with one half filled truck. They left the double doors wide open at the old house with all the materials behind(plywood blankets) so that i could not close the door(again I'm 8months prgnant & I have two toddlers). Then they got lost.... Spent 1 1/2hrs finding the house that was only 30 min away (and they charge double drive time.... My husband watched them drive by the house 2-3 times and finally contacted the company to give them directions). They dumped our belongings in the new home without reassembling or taking the plastic off the items they wrapped or placing them in the appropriate bedrooms.... Needless to say only a small fraction of our items were moved. Next weekend I hired a different company, folsom relocation company that charged a much lower hourly rate. They parked at the top of our driveway, sent one very large truck and had 3guys do all the moving. They did it in less time, moved our remaining furniture/ belongings(3/4 of the stuff we own that was left behind by Nathan's crew), no headaches, reassembled what they brought plus what Nathan's crew left behind unassembled, helped move all furniture into correct rooms & areas within the room..... And it cost us less!!!! Would love to file a complaint on Roseville Van & storage.... Any ideas on how I could go about doing that ? read more

I had a horrible experience with this 5 star company. What kind of company gives you an estimate, picks up only half of your belongings, then charges you again for the rest, then makes you unload your own stuff? Apparently, this company! Stay away! First they came out to my mother in-law's house to give a estimate. The estimate was done and it was a bit much. This was not the worst thing. On the day of the move, the company only brought a small moving truck instead of a larger size truck. This truck was only able to hold only half of the stuff she had for the move. Instead of claiming responsibility for the situation, the company made her rent another moving truck and charged her for it. Then, when they got to the destination, Michael (the moving company's driver) unloaded the truck and watched my brother in law and his friends put the all stuff into the storage space. read more

I've moved more than two dozen times in my life, including long distance. I know things can go wrong in a move and you get over it. But my local 10 minute move with Fuller was by far the worst moving experience in my life. The biggest problem was the consultant who gave me an estimate on a partial pack, completely underestimated how many boxes it would take to move my stuff, particularly the kitchen. The movers showed up with two few boxes, even after I called several days beforehand and asked that they supply more. On move day, they didn't even inform me they were close to running out of boxes until near the end of the day. I could have run out and bought some. Instead, my kitchen, a bathroom, and two closets were left unpacked and unmoved. I had to move it myself. They then charged me for boxes they didn't pack, including charging me $75 for a flat screen TV box that I supplied. In fact, I supplied all of the boxes except 8, for a three bedroom house. On top of all of this, we moved on a rainy day. Their truck had a hole in the roof and so they had to make two trips with a partial move so that my furniture wouldn't get wet. I'm thankful it didn't, but really, there shouldn't be a hole in the truck's roof. Oh, and they broke an irreplaceable antique lamp. They offered to "finish moving me" the next day, but by that point I didn't want to do business with them again. It took me another week to finish moving. Do NOT hire these people. Ever. read more

AWFUL experience with this company and its owner. I was moving out of state and wanted to use a local company & a well known moving van line. The day before the moving truck was to pick up my stuff, he tells me, so sorry, but I don't have a driver! By this point I had already left the state. Then he tells me, but don't worry... that he and another guy would load up my stuff ( a 4 bedroom house) into a U-Haul & store it for me at their storage facility until they could find a driver! I said absolutely not acceptable. Dropped them and ended up using an "internet" mover. I had no choice... he left me hanging. And in the end the internet movers did just fine. read more

We had a horrible move in August, 2013, from California to Colorado with more than $4,000 in damages to furniture, mostly caused by a driver for Roseville Van and Storage. In ten previous interstate moves, including four with North American, drivers were careful and caused little or no damage. But this driver was the exact opposite--blaming damages on other crews, failed to fill out papers properly, and hid badly damaged antiques when I was not looking. The unload was chaotic, allowing me about 30 seconds per item to do both inventory and damage checks. Roseville Van and Storage did not respond to complaints made through North American headquarters and AMSA, and when I wrote to Better Business Bureau their response was that "Roseville has no involvement or control in this claim." Other reviews in YELP report similar problems with Roseville, including failures by drivers to reassemble furniture on delivery; this driver took apart four tables, including antiques that were not meant to be taken apart, and blamed that on warehouse crews. Dishonesty on paperwork and hiding damages to five antiques is a really low mark that Roseville does not consider worthy of action. The comments here are to warn potential users to either avoid Roseville or to be extremely careful at all stages of loading and unloading--the drivers and crews are dangerous and can not be trusted to be careful with your goods. Packed by owner boxes are especially vulnerable--handled worse than airline luggage. Two or more people are needed at unloading to be very thorough and insist that the crew slow down and allow complete inspection of all boxes and furniture. Our move would have been worse if Roseville North American had moved all our goods--the most delicate items (dishes, wine glasses, framed artwork) we did ourselves with ABF U-Pack, at one-third the rate, and not a single glass was broken (because we take time to read "fragile" on box labels and do not stack boxes seven high). Not only did she provide an accurate estimate ahead of the move but she offered great insight and suggestions for making my grandfather's move smooth. This is our 3rd move with Roseville Van and storage. Our last move with Roseville Van was about 1 year ago and we had to put our belongings into storage with the thinking it would only be a couple of months. A couple of months turned into a year, but Nathan at Roseville Van was more than willing to work with us and when we did get our stuff out of storage it was returned in the same condition he picked it up in. All the furniture was packed very well and when it was brought to our new home they set it all up for us and made sure we were happy with the service. I would definitely move with Roseville Van and Storage again and would highly recommend any one else who might be moving to use them as well. Ask for Nathan. read more

This is a horrible company!!! Don't ever do business with them! I used them for a downsize move after selling my home last summer. The first move went ok, but things got worse. I had to store items with them for several months while waiting to purchase a new construction replacement home. I requested an inventory list of my items that went to storage, which was supposed to be given to me at the end of moving day but they "forgot." I called to ask for it repeatedly and they told me they would send it. It took almost 2 months to get the list from them. When I was ready to move into my new construction home this May, I called to schedule the move. They gave me a "ballpark" estimate over the phone but never gave me a written Agreement for Moving Services estimate at least 3 days before the move, as required by law. They changed my move details from the location I was told they would start the day, new house or apartment, and never notified me until I called to confirm details a few days before the move. They had me sign a "Not To Exceed Price" document the morning of the move, then they exceeded the price. They double charged me for moving items from the storage units onto the truck; I was told (in writing) that I paid a one-time-fee last summer for moving the items from the truck to storage and that fee covered moving the items from storage back onto the truck when I moved again. Of the team of 4 persons, I'm quite certain 2 of them had never done a move before and it was verified by a representative of the company that they had several new, inexperienced movers currently employed by them. The movers refused to pack a few remaining items in my apartment the day of the move, even though I had my own boxes there and was continuing to pack. (After "moving day" I had to make at least 10 trips, with my car & a family member's truck, from my apartment moving things to the house that the movers had refused to take. I have pictures of the boxes left there. I'm a female in my 60's; when I paid the moving company to do the move, I thought they would complete the move!) At the end of moving day (a Saturday,) when they presented the bill to me, I questioned the double charge for moving items from storage onto the truck...and the claim that they spent over 11 1/2 hours on the move (start time 8am, end time 3pm)...in my book, that's 8 hours. I didn't sign the paperwork and said I'd talk with the company on Monday to straighten out the final amount. Then, the final abuse occurred. THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD WITHOUT MY SIGNATURE AUTHORIZING IT! I filed a dispute with my credit card company and under those circumstances, they agreed to issue a credit to my card to reflect the final amount of the bill we had agreed upon. Oh, but it doesn't stop here. They told me to expect the credit in 10 to 14 days. After the credit didn't appear for one month, I called the owner, Nathan, again and asked him about the credit. He said he personally issued it. Then when he was looking for the paperwork to tell me the date he issued it, he said, "Oh, I guess there was an error. The credit was never issued." So, once again I continued to wait for the credit. When he did issue the credit, it was the wrong amount, actually over-crediting me a small amount. Then Nathan called me to ask me to sign a letter to my credit card company rescinding the credit and he told me he would re-do the credit. After it took nearly 6 weeks, not to mention the frustration of not being able to put this move behind me and concentrate on settling into the new house, I told him I would not agree to ask my credit card company to rescind the credit. I had every intention of sending him a check for the difference...but as I continue to unpack and open box after box with broken glassware, some sentimental pieces, and after I have had time to inspect my furniture, I've found much damage (and I have pictures to document the damage.) I have chosen not to send him the monetary difference. If I filed damage claims, Roseville Van & Storage would end up owing me much more than the small amount I owe him. They should consider themselves lucky that I am not going to file damage claims. I just want to wash my hands of this company and these people. Sorry this is so long. I feel it's important to warn others "out there" about the extremely unprofessional and slip-shod manner in which this company operates. At the very least, a company like this with a couple of good reviews and many bad reviews has a consistency problem. read more

This was one of the worst moving experiences ever! First of all, the actual movers were very rude and unprofessional. They were late on every occasion. First they said they would arrive on specified date... they never showed up. Then, after I called them, they said they had a tire issue, but would arrive later that day to inventory. They never showed up. When they finally did arrive... they actually told us they would not take part of items. I had to call Nathan Fuller. I wish I would have cancelled then. Things got way worse. They took our items and did not deliver for weeks and insisted that we had to finally pick up part of our items at a warehouse! This went on for weeks before they finally delivered the last of our goods. When I unpacked, I had broken furniture, box after box of smashed things and many things that were damaged. Nathan Fuller did nothing to help us. Please don't use this moving company if you want your items to arrive (undamaged). read more

This company only has 8 reviews on here and i guarantee you any of the positive ones are written by them. i will quote the bad review on here because i agree 100% " I swear this was the team of movers they'd showed on Dateline. They quoted me in writing, one price, but after all our furniture was on their trunk, they came to deliver at our new home and used some excuse that their manager had quoted the job based on 3 people, but one was sick and there was only two. Therefore it was going to be a bigger job for two and take more time. Bottom line, the driver charged me something like 100-200 more (in cash), on the spot! Something tells me, if i hadn't paid, they would have drove off into the sunset with all our furniture! Beware!" I couldnt have written that better myself. Please movers BEWARE! Nathan and Wendy are cons. My husband and I had a conference call with Wendy so we are both witness to the fact that she gave us a quote and then we ended up paying $800 more. and when they showed up with my stuff (weeks late) the driver wouldnt even come up our driveway (we live on 10 acres so he was all the way down the street) until i paid, or as the other review stated, they would have driven off with my stuff. we were lied to, my husband was threatened, and then when my stuff was delivered many items were missing or destroyed. not just accidentally broken, these items were broken with a vengeance. i have a piano that was given to me as a toddler by my grandfather that played in Carnegie Hall and it has been moved during my parents moved over 15 times and it showed up at my new house with the leg broken as if someone took a hammer to it, and the piano bench was NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. my husbands antiques from childhood were broken and they packed things that were in our giveaway pile which added to the weight of our move. when we were quoted $6200 from ca to tenn we asked if we went over in weight what would happen and wendy assured us that it would still be the same price. we also told wendy her son could have our weight set that was originally bought for $500 and she said she would make a donation to our dog rescue and we never saw a penny. these people are sick. our stuff was held hostage in sacramento for weeks and my 11 year old daughter slept on the floor in her new house. no bed, no toys, nothing! and she had to start school and had none of her clothes or school supplies. i will talk to every writer i know and tell them to review this company because i dont want this to happen to anyone else. i also write for a newspaper and will be writing an article about them and reporting them to the better business bureau. and to top things off, North American Van Lines backs them up. Dont ever use this company! and i just like other negative reviews have to mark one star even though they dont deserve a star or even to be in business. read more

We are most surprised and disappointed to see that there were negative reviews for this company. Our experience could not have been better. Jerry, the fellow who came to estimate the job came out to our house in Pine Grove and told us what the job would cost as I described it. I later increased the scope of the job and he adjusted accordingly over the phone. The moving van arrived as promised with a team of courteous and competent movers. When we explained that we wanted them to pack the paintings and lamps because we didn't want to take a chance that they would get damaged, they took appropriate care. Actually they took care to of all of our goods including a large plasma TV and a piano. Three days later we got a call from Glen, the team leader and driver to schedule the delivery of our goods. The van arrived with Glen and two equally courteous and competent movers out of our destination city of Las Vegas. This team unloaded the bulk of our goods in excellent condition and two of their number left. Glen followed us to our storage unit were he unloaded the remainder of our goods. We highly recommend these folks to take care of you and your goods. read more
