I have matching Christmas Stockings for everyone in the family. We were fortunate to add two new grandkids to the family tree. Therefore, I needed someone to match the color and font on two stockings with the new grandkids' names. I spoke to several embroidery houses in town and no one would take my order, as they were afraid they could not deliver a good match and would ruin my last two stockings in a matched set. I visited with Kim and she told me to bring her one of the existing stockings and she would make a few "test" runs on scrap material to see if it was possible to duplicate the color and font. She could not have been more wonderful to work with. She completed the order and I cannot tell the newly embroidered stockings from the original set. I had a totebag to be embroidered. The staff at EmbroidMe was helpful in selecting a design and colors. They took payment up front and provided a clear expectation of when the item would be available for pickup. I walked in just to browse because their web page is never working. I was made to feel unwelcome by the woman at the counter. I had informed her that I was just there to browse to see if they anything I would have liked in regards to shirts. I was not looking for a design to be placed on a shirt or file an order at that time. I was just looking and checking out the establishment. She seemed irritated when I said I didn't know what kind of shirt I was looking for. I just wanted to look. So sorry to have offended you for taking a moment to show interest in your business. I just pulled up Kim's Embroidme on the map to see if they were open and when the Yelp icon popped up thought "what a great opportunity to return the favor". -Was initially referred to this Embroidme by a friend who lives in the area, and uses Kim for all of his business shirts, jackets, hats, etc. and he said they do a great job. Well, I live in The Woodlands, and am sure there are a few places between Kim & us that could do similar work, but a year and a half later we use her for everything we do, (mostly shirts & light windbreakers with logos for us).
