Favorite place to eat in Fulton! Owner is super nice and always working, serving the people himself as they walk in. Never had something here I didn't like, especially love the café con leche! Wow wow yum!! One of the best meals I had all week while in town on a business trip! I am so happy I found this gem while looking for somewhere to grab lunch. It's a bit weird initially walking in since the cafe is tucked back past two little shops inside. We walked in and were told to pick any table we liked and once we sat down we're immediately brought over menus and given the spiel on what the specials were. There were some really good looking salad options but I also really wanted to have a sandwich on the Cuban bread since I knew it would be good so I ended up getting a half salad and the vegetarian sandwich and maduros because I couldn't resist! When the food came out, the portions were huge and everything was so fresh! It had been a bit since I had a really good salad at a restaurant, but this one was amazing! Had blueberries, watermelon and veggies with some really good dressing. As expected, my sandwhich was also delicious and I was super happy with this meal. Great service, great prices, amazing atmosphere and great food. If I ever find myself in Fulton again, I will make it a priority to stop for a meal or two here! read more

We stopped by this cafe on the way back from the Lake of the Ozarks. It was difficult to find with Google maps thinking the entrance was on the back of the building. We finally found the cafe after seeing a photo and realizing the entrance is part of Smockingbird's Boutique. The Cuban sandwich was amazing with the perfect portion size. My husband got the carne con papas (beef stew) which was also delicious but the portion was a little small. The plantains were delicious and the salty style. The Fulton salad was a great; spring fruit topped with a homemade dressing. Highly recommend if passing through! read more

This place is adorable with great food. Owner was so great and really cared abt quality of food going out and did a great job explaining dishes. We had the Cuban sandwich and the Piccadillo, that he had just made that morning. Both were great. The piccadillo came with a super fresh side salad with a mix of vegetables and fruit- it is what I would call a perfect salad. What a gem in cute old town Fulton. Delicious little Cuban restaurant in historic downtown town Fulton. The family run business is warm and welcoming. The man who waited on us had also cooked the special of the day. He shared that it was a Cuban home staple and one he grew up eating. It was ground beef, garlic, onions, potatoes, olives, peppers. After living in Fulton for nine years, Fulton Cafe was consistently one of my favorite places to grab lunch and catch up with friends. The coffee is consistently good. My go-to sandwich was the Cuban and I highly recommend it if you stop in here. I was also a fan of whatever their special of the day was and you can't go wrong with a side of plantains. Who would have thought that a small town like Fulton would have a hoppin' Cuban place. If I ever make it back to Fulton, I hope I'm there during lunch so I can grab a Cuban. Oh! I was visiting my boyfriend's family in Missouri and we decided to check this place out. I am Cuban and I will say I was pleasantly surprised with the menu and the taste of the food. I honestly didn't think good Cuban food existed outside of my family's house, Versailles, Porto's, and Miami, haha!! It turns out that good Cuban food exists in the Midwest, too. After reading the glowing reviews regarding this restaurant we were excited to finally get a chance to sample the Cuban cuisine. What a disappointment. The $3.99 cup of coffee was nothing special. I had a Frita burger, $9.99, it was awful. It was cool, obviously not freshly cooked, probably put in the microwave for a minute, hard and dried out. It was supposed to come on a "sweet" bun but came on a run of the mill white bun. My companion had a Elena Ruz Sandwich, $10.99. Tasted good but had very little meet on it, mostly bread and jelly, accompanied by about 3 ounces of potato salad. We ordered plantains, $1.99. They were very soggy. The Entrees are a better deal since they come with sides. However the day we were there the waiter said there was only three Entrees available because his supplier would not be in till Monday. We spent about $36.00 and it was not worth it. Really don't know if we will ever go back. read more
