Rob was great! He answered questions over the phone prior to our visit. He was friendly and personable, it seems like it is a family run business- which always makes experiences better. Covid precautions were taken i.e roped off areas, setting appointments prior to showing up so that multiple families are not hanging around waiting. His son showed us a map before leaving the shop; Rob even warned me about the wind and which areas (river bends) had the possibility of being a harder paddle on the paddle board! Transportation and directions on where to park were clear and concise. After we were done, we simply gave them a call (he thanked us for the business and was genuinely interested on our experience, asking how I handled the paddle board with the wind- even bringing up my previous collegiate rowing experience!), brought our kayak and paddle board up the small ramp and continued on with our day. Wow! This trip through the Scarborough Marsh was a blast! My wife and I rented their awesome new fishing kayaks. They are stable, comfortable and include 2 rod holders and plenty of storage for the items you can't leave behind. I would definitely recommend you take this trip earlier in the summer as it can get pretty hot and the green head flies can be a little vicious at times. Rod warned us about them and they were pretty much kept at bay with a high DEET bug spray. My wife and I caught a couple schooling stripers which definitely put up a good fight! We both would recommend this place for anyone looking to get outside and experience the beautiful scenery that is the Scarborough marsh. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen and bug spray! From the second we got out of the car to the moment we said goodbye to Rod, our entire experience was above and beyond amazing. We rented 4 stand up paddle boards and Rod (and Matt who was on day 2) were super informative and made sure we all were comfortable with the equipment. A group of us were looking for a kayak rental near Old Orchard Beach; and Fun and Sun Rentals totally met are needs. We had the option of kayaking in the marsh or bay, and we chose the bay. The workers dropped off our kayak at the beach for us, and we all took turns kayaking while the rest of us hung out on the beach. Renting or kayak for 4 hours was perfect for us. Our price included the boat, life jackets, packets, drop-off, and a dry bag. The service was excellent and workers were friendly. We had such a fun time paddling around! read more

I truly can't explain how kind Rob the owner is, he truly wants you to have a great time. We got to the wrong location (my fault) and Rob let me know the correct way to get back to his shop. We got there and his employee greeted us and let us know about the process. Super easy, we followed the van across the street to a lot you can garantee a spot and Rob's employee unloaded a very heavy 2 person kayak alone into the water. We didn't take the river trip because the tide was too low, but Rob really suggests the river trip. We went out near the Marina and LOVED IT. We will be back, most likely today for bike rentals! I think it's awesome they will come drop off kayaks to people. For 4 hours for a nice two person kayak especially made for paddeling against the current was 60$, which is great! Rented one kayak, one paddle board at Ferry Beach. The kayak was great but the paddle board was missing a handle, which made it a little difficult to get it into the water. Also, the paddle board paddle was broken or taped, so you couldn't adjust the length. Prices are great! Rentals are convenient! But the equipment needs to be maintained. read more

This was another great experience we had in Maine last week. I reserved bikes before we left for our trip, and they were delivered right to our motel, When we decided we needed speed bikes instead of cruisers, Rob replaced them the same day. The bikes came with helmets, locks, and a pump, along with suggestions for rides and a map. The bikes were then picked up from the motel when we left. They delivered within the hour for no extra charge and showed us how to use the equipment. I recently used this service to get a bike for my sister's visit to the beach. These guys are amazing. Rod came several times to our cottage after he delivered the 3-speed bike to add a bottle holder and to change out the bike for another one that he thought would fit my sister better. The bike was new and perfect for our 10-mile daily rides. They also have one-speed bikes and even little kids' bikes. Service and quality products are their goal. I couldn't have been happier. It wasn't that expensive. I paid $90 for the week and they weren't sticklers about it being exactly 7 days at an exact time. They were really flexible to match my schedule. They deliver and they pick up! It couldn't be easier. The bike came with a helmet and lock! Ocean Park and Old Orchard are great areas to bike around, and there is the Eastern Trail across parts of Southern Maine that you can get on and ride for miles and miles. Highly recommended! read more
