But I still enjoyed myself as I was surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. I think I stopped at every overlook just to see the mountain range from different angles. My favorite spots were Oxbow Bend and Schwabacher Landing. Both places are great for viewing the sunrise. The wildlife is pretty active in the park; however, I did visit in spring when wildlife is the most active. I saw bears, moose, and bison. It was incredible. If you are into hiking, Grand Teton offers many hiking trails. Taggart Lake trail is one of the most popular ones and it is gorgeous. This is just a short review, there were many other things I enjoyed. Overall, an amazing experience.

She said it was for her time...her hourly rate must be really high to send a couple emails to the vendors. I don't mind a deposit penalty, but $350 is excessive with 6 months notice, and she wouldn't even let me reapply it for a later trip. I'm not aware of any other vendor with such a punitive policy. You're better off booking this stuff yourself or choosing another place to book, which is what we will do when do head to Jackson Hole.

The people here accommodated to her by giving her a very sturdy, docile horse named Sage. My mom now loves horses. All of the horses are super well trained. The view of the mountains is absolutely beautiful when you get up to the ridge. The staff is wonderful and they know a lot about the area so you learn new things along the ride. One of the best horseback riding experiences I've ever had.

Architecturally stunning. I will say it feels like there is a bit too much space like there's something more they could have done to add another layer of complexity to the center. I like where the place is located and how it's close to some historical sites that you can just walk to if you're up for a brief trail walk. As gorgeous as this place looks, I found it to be a one-and-done sort of experience. It's not a place I would go out of the way to visit again, but it was nice to experience. There are other centers where I feel like there's enough content or service where I want to come back and visit again.

He was so knowdgeable about the area having lived there his entire life. Taught us so much history, info on the wildlife, plants, etc. We saw so much wildlife including see Grizzly 610 & her cubs 2ce!! Saw 13 bears ( Grizzly, black, & brown black bears), tons of bison & calves, moose, fox, coyote, wolves, elk, pronghorns, bald eagles, harlequin ducks, magpies, American white pelicans, mule deer, Sandhill cranes. He really knows both national parks & where to find the wildlife. Love that he took us out early mornings & at dusk when the animals were more active. Kevin was very accommodating to the interests in our group & had a great demeanor & sense of humor. Really loved the tour for my second time. Always learn something new. He was also incredibly patient with our rambunctious kids, which made the experience much more enjoyable for our family. The snacks throughout the day were excellent and thoughtfully selected. The offerings ranged from blueberry muffins (which tasted like they may have come from a local bakery) to bison jerky. Sodas, tea, hot chocolate, and French press coffee were available throughout the tour. Hot drinks were served in stainless steel travel mugs, and water was provided in reusable water bottles that we got to keep--a nice touch that fit well with the company's environmental focus. Lunch was fantastic. The Mediterranean and elote salads were generous enough that we wished we had a way to take leftovers home. The mufaletta sandwich was piled with a generous amount of lunch meat and cheese. The kids also enjoued their PB& Js. The brownies were absolutely divine. We also appreciated that the meal was served in stainless steel bento boxes with real silverware rather than disposable containers, which felt very consistent with Ecotours' name and mission. I can't forget to mention the washable tablecloth and napkins. We enjoyed the viewing hatches on the vehicle. While we only had one opportunity to get close enough to wildlife to really use them, they were a fun feature. Our kids especially loved being able to see out the back windows and open them for a better view. Overall, the tour was well organized, comfortable, and family-friendly. The combination of excellent guiding, great food, thoughtful amenities, and a commitment to sustainability made it a memorable Yellowstone experience.

He provided several videos from the tour taken from a 50 mm scope with an iPhone attached to it. My 400mm lens did not capture the same quality shots. He also provided locations for astro photography. An experience one should consider.
