I did the Yellowstone, Old Faithful, Waterfalls and Wildlife Day Tour from Jackson Hole with guide Rachel. Absolutely awesome experience, I wish I coulo rate it higher than 5 stars. Rachel was friendly and informative. Not only did we see the breathtaking scenery of the Grand Teton and Yellowstone parks, but we saw an abundance of wildlife as well, including mule deer, bald eagles, elk, moose, wolves, and FIVE grizzly bears, including two cubs! Rachel served us a lovely packed lunch which sustained us for our trip. I can't recommend this trip and guide Rachel highly enough!!

We had high hopes based on the reviews. Baffling how many positive reviews there are. We understand there is no guarantee to see wildlife. First, let's start with the open air vehicle. It was like someone through some parts together in their backyard on top of a pick-up truck, to call it a safari vehicle. Obstructed views everywhere, especially if you are tall. On their website, it states there will be closed vehicles if there is inclement weather. We were poured on and soaking wet for four hours. Everyone in our vehicle was cold and miserable the entire time. It was so bad that we nearly took an Uber to leave the tour. No closed vehicle was provided by the company. They did offer to put down the shades, which would have meant no view at all. What a complete joke. Kevin, our guide, spent half the time pulling over on the side of the road and telling stories about the history of the land. We saw zero wildlife except one deer and two swans the entire ride. We were provided with a few small bags of chips as "snacks" even though this was a four hour ride at dinner time. Our family is sad and disappointed that this was how we spent our last night in Jackson. We feel this company is a total scam out to get people's money. We spent almost $700 for our family of four. Beware, if you have kids, this is mostly a tour for elderly folks. We would have had better scenery and wildlife views in our rental car. Complete waste of time and money, especially for what they charge! We will not be recommending Brushbuck to anyone! The company needs to do better.

So much fun! These safari tours are such a great way to get to know national parks. It gives you an opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife while enjoying the views of the surrounding landscape. Plus I love anything that has to do with nature and wildlife. I booked a four-hour morning tour with BrushBuck during my stay here at Grand Teton National Park. We got to ride around in an open-air vehicle while our guide shared loads information about the park. BrushBuck provides drinks, snacks, a blanket and binoculars on these tours. I have been on an African safari and this tour brought back some fun memories of that trip. We saw pronghorn antelope, elk, moose and a bear. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and even added a little humor. The backdrop of the Teton Range made it such a memorable morning. If you are visiting the Tetons for the first time, I highly recommend checking out one of these safari tours and get more up close and personal with the park.

Spend almost 13 hours with Kyle while we did the Yellowstone lower loop tour. The van was in perfect condition and big. I sat in the front passenger seat and we had 4 other people. 2 couples. Everyone was friendly and excited to start the day of touring the Teton and Yellowstone parks. Kyle made the trip! He knew everything from Owls heads to the geyser's bacteria. He must be a genius because how someone could know and retain so much info is beyond me. We saw moose, a grizzle, some type of giraffe relative deer creature, all sorts of birds and elk and just a ton of wild life. We got an amazing education on geysers and saw some huge geysers erupt. The tour was comfortable, we stopped for coffee and gifts and lots of bathroom breaks when needed. We had a great picnic lunch at a cute spot. I could not have asked for a better tour and tour guide.

OUTSTANDING tour. We booked a private wildlife tour with BrushBuck. Our guide, Pat, was very knowledgeable and professional- And knew where to go to find the animals! My daughter is OBSESSED with wolves, and we told the guide that that was our #1 priority. He informed us that, with only 132 wolves on 2.2 million acres, and it also being a little later in the day, it might be tough but he'd do his best. Not only did we see a wolf- we saw two of them- and they were actively hunting a nursery herd of bison. It is one of the most incredible things I have ever gotten to see- and something that will be stuck in our daughters memory for the rest of her life. We also saw a Grizzly bear, several black bears, a TON of bison, pronghorns, elk, deer- Just about everything that could be seen. It was well worth it, had we been on our own I doubt that we'd have seen 1/2 of what we saw, and we certainly wouldn't have seen wolves. The tour itself was in an almost brand new, and very comfortable, Tahoe. The provided meal was just sandwiches and fruit, but it was more than adequate. They also provide drinks and snacks for the trip, and you are also welcome to bring your own. This tour wasn't inexpensive, but it was worth every penny!

Must do while visiting Jackson!! Easy pick up / drop off right in town. Anthony our guide was top notch.... Knew where to go for the best chance of sightings, and was very knowledgeable and shared lots of history and stories, even told a few jokes! Highly recommend!!!

We did the Alaska 5 day tour recently and I cant say enough good things. First our tour guide Pat, was amazing. Very knowledgeable, was great at spoting and pointing out wildlife. He gave some good recomindations for food in each stop. He is also great with kids! This is our second brush buck tour and I haven't been disappointed yet. I would definitely recommend doing the cruise at Seward on your second day it is a great addition.

Cade does not disappoint. Very knowledgeable guide, super friendly with our group. Great with kids and he was on it. He was able to get us to the Queen of the Tetons" and so Much more. If you are looking for a guided tour with a rock solid guide sign up and ask for Cade!!!

    Awesome guide Steve on left
    Robert B.

Steve was an exceptional guide. He knows where the wildlife is likely to be, shows great flexibility, and educated me and the group on a variety of issues related to the wildlife, terrain, and region. He was kind and pleasant. We were lucky enough to see a Grizzly, as well as moose, elk and coyote. 10-15% as the recommended tip is too low!

This is a must take tour for Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Our guide, Conner, was great. Conner is very knowledgeable, friendly and is excellent at spotting wildlife. You can tell Conner thoroughly loves his chosen profession and takes it very seriously in order to make sure all of his guest have the best trip possible. My wife and I love this tour. We saw Moose, Elk, Bison, Eagles, Coyotes and Antelope on our tour, as well as all of the normal sight you would expect to see on a Grand Teton and Yellowstone tour. It was great leaving the driving to Conner and being able to sit back, look around and enjoy the experience. I highly recommend BrushBuck tours and Conner as your guide!

Such a great experience. Our guide named Phil was amazing. He was like a walking encyclopedia. We traveled (party of five)with my husband and our three kids: ages 12, 10, 7. My 10 year old boy asked all the questions possible and Phil always had an answer. He was super cool and sweet with the kids. Like I said he was very knowledgeable and we had an amazing experience. Thank you Phil!

He was also incredibly patient with our rambunctious kids, which made the experience much more enjoyable for our family. The snacks throughout the day were excellent and thoughtfully selected. The offerings ranged from blueberry muffins (which tasted like they may have come from a local bakery) to bison jerky. Sodas, tea, hot chocolate, and French press coffee were available throughout the tour. Hot drinks were served in stainless steel travel mugs, and water was provided in reusable water bottles that we got to keep--a nice touch that fit well with the company's environmental focus. Lunch was fantastic. The Mediterranean and elote salads were generous enough that we wished we had a way to take leftovers home. The mufaletta sandwich was piled with a generous amount of lunch meat and cheese. The kids also enjoued their PB& Js. The brownies were absolutely divine. We also appreciated that the meal was served in stainless steel bento boxes with real silverware rather than disposable containers, which felt very consistent with Ecotours' name and mission. I can't forget to mention the washable tablecloth and napkins. We enjoyed the viewing hatches on the vehicle. While we only had one opportunity to get close enough to wildlife to really use them, they were a fun feature. Our kids especially loved being able to see out the back windows and open them for a better view. Overall, the tour was well organized, comfortable, and family-friendly. The combination of excellent guiding, great food, thoughtful amenities, and a commitment to sustainability made it a memorable Yellowstone experience.

Taren was exceedingly apologetic and accommodating. It turns out they were handling an unusually high volume of reservations that day, and unfortunately, ours slipped through the cracks. Her service recovery was excellent. Given the business's consistently high ratings, I have no doubt that our one-off situation will be taken as a learning opportunity to help them continue delivering excellent tours to future clients. Original abridged review: **Disappointed by the experience -- not what we paid for, though our guide saved the day** I hate to leave a review like this, but our experience didn't match what was promised or paid for. We booked an early morning safari in advance as part of a bachelorette weekend, expecting a seamless start to a packed day. Unfortunately, the company forgot our reservation entirely, and despite repeated calls, no one arrived until two hours late -- well past the peak wildlife viewing time and after significant disruption to our schedule. Several advertised amenities, including breakfast and hot beverages, were missing, and communication throughout was poor. A minimal refund was eventually offered, but only after we pushed for it. That said, our guide Barry was outstanding. He came in on his day off, brought great energy, was knowledgeable and engaging, and did his best to salvage the situation. We're grateful to him. Ultimately, though, the overall experience was disappointing. For a premium tour marketed as professional and seamless, it missed the mark. We hope the company improves its customer service and reliability moving forward.

For $600-850 a snow mobile, this outfit is greatly missing customer etiquette. We were told to be ready at 6am sharp. We wanted to confirm which side of the hotel pickup was, however neither the 1800 or 307 numbers work. We called repeatedly, text the 307 number, and had no idea if we'd been scammed until the coach showed up at 6:28. Showing up late with no working phone number was shocking for an outfit that demands logistics and communication at 6am. Once the coach showed up, I asked Jeff (guide) if there's any coffee since it's a 1+ hour ride to Yellowstone and coffee shops were not open. Scenic Safari's response? "You can die for an hour in the back." A bit rude, I ignored it. For comparison, the hotel shuttle that runs FOR FREEE has coffee and hot chocolate prepped in the van. No coffee on a $600-800 per person is one thing, but "You can die for an hour in the back," has ZERO customer etiquette. We get in the coach and the man has the lights on full blast over our heads. When asked to dim them since it's pitch black outside and the contrast painful to anyone with migraines, Jeff makes the remark "lights are going off because there's someone sensitive in the back." The parking lot we left was somewhat sunny, but we entered the following areas according to him: Salt River Rand, Wyoming Range, The Greys, River Canyon and Apline Wyoming. Half way through the day we pulled into a real ranch in the middle of nowhere and were treated to a delicious lunch with homemade cookies. We then headed out to some serious boondocking back country riding, unlike anything I have ever experienced in my life. Super important to do all your downloading on wifi before heading to a National Park (as most parks have poor cell and 4g). And start the tour right before heading into the park. If you accidentally exit the app, go to the TravelStorys app (give it time to load, you don't need internet service as long as it's been previously downloaded) and simply select your tour again.
