He also worked with his team to get the price we requested. We had one small issue with the power awning not working after our 30 minute drive home but Dexter was quick to FaceTime us to try to find a solution. We ended up having to take it to the service center the next day, where it turned out to just be a fuse. The service center was incredibly kind and had us in and out within 30 minutes. We bought our Kodiak Ultimate just before Covid hit. The sales team was fabulous and we love our travel trailer. Here we are 3 yrs. later needing to take it in while under warranty because of a water heater issue. We were informed it would be 5 weeks before we could get in and if we needed a part replaced we were looking at another 6-10 weeks. I find this very ridiculous just to get an estimate of what is wrong let alone even more ridiculous that they do not keep wearable parts in stock. Screw the warranty...don't buy it...because they will make sure you are not seen for the repair until after the warranty expires! We will find another service place and pay cash. All ready with the credit app and good to go. Now we are confirming that the camper had the full body paint. Next thing is "oh, we have the wrong exterior photo on that one. Sales team - beyond excellent. Finance fellow - the same - got approvals and everything set up quickly. But when I got to the paperwork department things went south FAST. First, the payments were quite a bit higher than I expected and then came the high-pressure fear pitch (read optional insurance). I said no, so they went away and came back saying they could get the payment down by selling the insurance just over cost. The paperwork fellow later stated that they were actually discounting the loan by 0.25% - so why not do that in the first place? I ended up so confused that I walked out and went to talk to the salesman so he'd know what happened. After talking to him and the finance fellow again I found out that the paperwork fellow and his manager were having me sign off on payments for a 12 yr note over 15 years! Seriously?? Was it because I'm older or a single woman or both? Taking advantage of anyone is the quickest way to lose my business. read more

He told us it was our experience, whatever we want. I can't tell you how wonderful that was to be able to look at rows and rows of trailer without someone watching us. It's probably similar to other dealerships which is why most auto/Rv dealers have bad reputations. Funtown is no exception, they just want your money and don't care what happens once you walk out the door. With that in mind, please do 2 things, these are a MUST! Get your own independent inspection. Funtown does the absolute minimum in this regard. They don't want to find things wrong because then they have to fix it. It really seems silly that this is the system. Imagine buying a car from someone and having them do their own check instead of taking it to a mechanic. Get your own! Also, leave enough time (weeks) for funtown to be able to fix all of the problems, and there will be lots. The few hundred bucks is worth it to the penny. Please get your own inspection. Do not buy the warranty! It's overpriced and it doesn't cover much. If you want a warranty, buy one privately and you will save thousands of dollars. Seriously, 7000+ saved if you avoid funtown warranty. The finance person will push you really hard to buy it. Coerce, lie, push, insult, coerce some more, just say no! If I could leave zero or even negative stars, I would. The best tip I can provide is to read all the reviews here and on Google and on BBB, because all the horror stories are true. This was by far the worst sales and service experience of my life, and I'm over 50. I'll try to keep this brief, but here's what happened to me: I bought a trailer there in August, planning to use it during the late summer and fall, and perhaps early winter. This was my first RV, and while I didn't really know all the ins and outs of the RV, I trusted my sales person. This is a key point - all the people were very polite and nice. It's the policies of the place that get you. Anyway, I paid cash (another mistake - make sure you have a bank that has skin in the game) and drove away with the trailer. When I tried to use it a couple of weeks later, I realized that the electrical system was completely dead. No battery power at all, the solar panel wasn't working. Interestingly, the batteries weren't even clamped down in their compartment. It looked like someone had been working on it. I brought it back to Fun Town for them to replace the batteries (which were completely dead, to the point of being ruined) and the solar panel (and of course, clamp down the batteries) in early September. A few weeks later (yes, almost three weeks), after many calls to pressure them into fixing it soon, they said it was ready, so I drove to the service center to pick it up, planning to take it straight from there to Austin to use it. When they pulled it out, I checked the power, and there still wasn't any power. They hadn't replaced the batteries. They had no explanation for why they hadn't been replaced. I cancelled my trip to Austin and left the trailer there in the hopes that they would actually fix it this time. About a month later, around mid-October, it still wasn't fixed, despite pleading with them to do so, so I contacted the sales department and told them I just wanted to replace it with a new unit that didn't have any issues, but they completely dismissed me and said it was titled to me, so any problems with it were my problems. I spoke with a couple of attorneys, but there's really no recourse for you in this kind of situation. In early November, they still hadn't done any repairs on the trailer, despite countless calls and emails, so I explained my case to the manufacturer, and they agreed that they would work with me directly instead of going through the dealer. It felt great to take it away from Fun Town and I was pleasantly surprised that there was only one small item missing from the side compartments in the trailer. This group (I assume all Fun Town RV outlets are under the same corp. umbrella and or run under the same guidelines) is horrible. I bought a one year old TT and asked one simple question which was: Is everything operating correctly and up to industry standards? They said absolutely. I then asked if it had ever had any reported issues or problems and could I get the previous owners name and contact info. They said absolutely not. It is illegal in Texas to give out that info. (which was a lie and should have made me just walk away). In regards to the condition of the TT they said it was just like it came off the factory line. So I trusted them and bought it. Several months later I find black mold in the ceiling after hunting down a roof leak around a plumbing pipe that penetrated the roof. Apparently the TT may have actually been in an accident and some plumbing piping was replaced! I called them and all they could say was you bought it used, one year old, and there is nothing we can do. I asked them about their statements of it being correct, per industry standards and they say they felt it was and that any problem would be a factory build problem from Forest River. They said they had had numerous issues over the years with that manufacturers products but hoped it had been corrected or would be sometime down the road. So the dealership tossed the mfg under the bus. How professional? So I was left to deal with the roof leak, the black mold, the water heater controls and many other items. They are crooks in my opinion or they are just stupid about the RV industry. You decide but buy elsewhere! The finance manager who was really young, maybe 23 years old said his dad owned the Dallas branch and was getting ready to buy all the Fun Town RV locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma soon. This is disheartening since I will never go to a Fun Town RV center ever again if the same people own them all. Just crooks. Beware. If you sleep with dogs you end up with fleas. The black manager was shifty too. He walked in immediately when I asked for the previous owners contact info and agreed with the finance manager that it was illegal. March of 2023 my husband and I purchased a 70,000 Forest River coachman. on the sales end they were quick to call and check in. When signing the paperwork the lady told us that Fun Town as a quality dealer and that even though they didn't do traveling repairs they would work with us to make sure we had any issues taken care of. she implied that they would call the manufacturer on our behalf in the rare event that we had issues. Then we had issues! and radio silence. Our Main AC unit went out. may in Texas. who know how hot it got in 2023 in Texas? Here we are 2024 February 21 and the mobil service tec that we were refered to is not answering our calls. It took from May to Sept to even get fun town to help us with anything and then after paying the service tech $250 for a service call to tell me what I already knew. Just a place to buy a trailer. If your long for customer service, look elsewhere. It's like Robert the finance guy is half asleep. When the finance guy doesn't know shit, forgets to tell you anything important, says your credit is better than his you have to wonder how he got the job in the first place. I mean no one likes buying a $20,000 item from losers who are half awake. We were there for hours but the real reason I'm writing this is because they tried to sell me a water logged unit. Water had been pouring into the trailer from the storm the day before. It was dripping out of the bottom of the sealed floor. If you know anything about trailer is ( don't get the inside wet ) it creates mold and compromises the structure. Make sure you search high and low for defects because they don't have a moral bone to say ( Hey this thing isn't proper ) these people will sell you anything even if unsafe for your 1 and 3 year old daughter to be in. read more

This review is for the Dallas location. This location is new and has a VERY inexperienced staff. I was confident in my purchase due to the various checklists that Jeff -the service manager-showed me that assured me that even though the unit was a little used and it would be my first RV, I had nothing to worry about because FuntownRV has procedures that ensure only units ready for the road will leave the lot. I took delivery Friday night. Unfortunately, the checklists were not followed. The unit had a very obvious leak in the bathroom. Additionally, the in-line check valve on the fresh water tank was malfunctioning so the city water connection by-passed it causing the fresh water tank to fill and overflow. In fact, the ramp on the unit wasn't even cleaned before it was delivered-even though I asked specifically about it. I'm talking big motorcycle tracks and muddy boot prints all over the loading ramp. I arranged the walk-through Friday at 10am. I was kept waiting until 12:30 and then the 'walk-through' was performed by Jeff and was merely him pointing out a few switches. I received no instruction on how to set up my water heater, or other necessary procedures for the safe and successful operation of my new RV. Greg put me off because he was busy selling another RV rather than honor the appointment with me. I reached out to Greg yesterday expressing my frustration and to my surprise, I have received no response. I reached out to Jeff about parts and he made it clear he had no idea what a check valve is-which is pretty disconcerting from a service manager. EVERY time I tried to reach Ken-the sales manager-he was too busy to take my call and never returned it nor emails. Greg, the salesman, told me nearly every time I spoke with him that he didn't know very much about RV's and he only is expanding his knowledge through what his customers share with him. In a few days of online-research I had more knowledge about RV's than he did after working in the industry for over four months. Not very confidence inspiring. At one point he actually told me 'stay off the internet'. Seriously? If the salesman doesn't have any working knowledge of their competition or more than a base understanding of their product, I'm going to HAVE to do my due diligence through reaearch and price comparisons. A company advertises they have 'bullet-proof pricing' I would hope they weren't scared of backing up their claim. Ken swore up and down he would match or beat any price I could find online. When I did, he didn't match it, he actually overshot it by $25. I let it slide, but it is patently dishonest. And this is AFTER he instructed Greg to email me informing me it wasn't possible to go any lower on the price. Greg looked foolish, and Ken came across as deceptive-and at odds with his sales team. If I had to do it over I would still have bought this model, but I'd definitely go with the Cleburne location or Camping World. There are tons of RV dealerships, definitely pass on Dallas till they get their act together. read more

There is a reason why they only have 2.5 stars! I have been trying to get a refund back on service and parts that were still under manufacture warranty since November 2021! One of the managers I talked to on a Friday said he would find out what was going on with the refund on Saturday morning and call me back after their morning meeting well guess what 5 days later and an email and I have not heard back from him! If only you had the time to really understand what I've been going since October of last year. Brand new 2022. so many problems they couldn't even repair. Traded it back in and they depreciated it over 20,000.00 dollars. So in order to get another one of same value I had to pay over 20,000.00. So now I have a 67,00.00 dollar rv for the price of 90.000.00 dollars. If we could all get away with this how would life really be. They are a huge company with I'm sure deep pockets. I had and am still taking a whipping from them. Straw that broke the camels back. I over paid on repair by 1,600.00 and they are telling me it's there money I was a fool to pay up front. In all my 62 years I've never been more violated than by Fun Town. If anyone wants to make a good solid purchase please call me. This is a 0-star review for FunTown RV in Cleburne. We had the worst experience with them and our brand new fifth wheel. We purchased a 2023 East to West Ahara in May of 2023. In July we started experiencing horrible water leaks from everywhere. Seeping down the walls, coming out of the light switches, sweating under the belly, etc. and had no idea what was causing it. This had in turn caused damage to the trim pieces, bowing of wood, rust on hinges, mold under belly, etc. We called FunTown RV to get in for warranty work. My husband drained the tanks, and we packed up to head to the service center in Cleburne. They had it for one-two weeks and we received a call from a service assistant saying we had overflowed both black tanks because our hose was hooked up to the black tank when it arrived, and that warranty would not cover it. (Let me just say, my husband has dealt with campers for over 10 years and has never overflowed the tanks. The hose was hooked up from when he drained them to take the camper in). Immediately my husband asked to speak to the manager, Kent Ferguson, in which it took days to get ahold of, and the phone call ended in Kent blaming us, rudely. We picked up our camper in between this time. We then emailed Kayla Heskett to get proof of such accusation in which it took additional days, and they sent pictures of the hoses (which we already knew about) and pictures of "toilet paper" under the stairs. My husband then crawled under the stairs and came to find the caulking that they were calling "toilet paper." He then climbed on the roof to check tank vents and there was no water residue at all. We sent this proof to Brooke McCommas (after Kayla would no longer speak to us) and got no response. We called Kent and received no response as well. After a week with no answer, we called the main office and spoke to Mike McMillan and Kevin Thomas. They said to send all documentation to them, and they would get with the service center. After a week of not hearing back, we called again and got nowhere. We tried for a month to deal with FunTown, and it was the absolute worst customer service experience. They do not stand behind their rvs and do not want to work with the customer to solve any problems, rather play blame. We put an insurance claim in after everything we dealt with, got a mechanic and insurance company representative to look at the damage and both agreed that the black tanks had nothing to do with the water damage. We will never take any of our business to FunTown going forward, nor will we ever recommend them to anyone. read more

The air conditioner in the first camper we bought from them broke within the first month of us owning the camper. It took over 2 months (with us calling every day) before it was fixed. We decided to get a new camper today and the entire experience was a disaster. We were trading in our camper and they told us to go off load it, set it up, and, get it going. We are the customers and we're being treated like we work there. My mother in law asked if they needed a cashier's check. They told my mother in law that they would take a personal check, but when we got there, they changed their minds about that. They said they could only take a check if her name was on the title. The camper was a gift to us for Christmas, so why would she want her name on the title? Then, on the way home, the trim on the camper falls off. We call the salesperson to report this and he says "Put some super glue on it." I was quite shocked and to say the least, very disappointed. We will not be going back. read more

This dealership is so inefficiently run that I suspected it might be government-owned. I don't believe the rave Yelp review for a minute. First, they insult law-abiding legally-armed citizens by posting ineffectual "no firearms allowed whatsoever" signs at the entry. (Which they must believe will deter any bad guy who's intending to steal an RV at gunpoint.) Then the bored front desk girl needed a name and phone number (?) before even asking what she could do for me. She was gobsmacked when I refused to give up my personal information for her computer. (I don't want unsolicited sales calls; I just wanted to tour a couple of RVs.) I wasn't allowed to stroll around alone looking at their inventory; I had to wait for a "sales associate" - who looked like he's still in his teens - to escort me. It turned out that we couldn't see one of the specific models that interested me on their website because "it's like, a couple miles away and, like, we don't have any golf carts left." So I contented myself with seeing a second choice that was located closer to the office. It was "marked down" (Super Sale!) from $75k to $48k. I've seen this exact model advertised online at $46k. Bogus! As expected, the "sales associate" had absolutely no knowledge of his product, couldn't even begin to answer any specific questions. But he sure wanted to know all about me, wanted to be my new best friend. And wanted my phone number. I couldn't leave fast enough. I drove miles to get to this place, and it turned out to be a total waste of an afternoon. I recommend you drive on down the interstate to make your RV purchase. This dealership is certainly BIG, but that's about all it has going for it. read more

We purchased our RV on February 6, 2023 and during the past 11 months have had issue after issue. The roof started as a 6" hump caused by screws being too short from the manufacturer and after 11 months of attempt after attempt, they finally replaced the roof. The heater malfunctioned while I was 200 miles from home and they say they cannot duplicate the issue so it remains unfixed. We have had leaks in the wall due to a kinked fresh water inlet hose. Bench falling apart. Paneling in storage compartment coming apart. Missing large decal that showed to be replaced. Wire hanging from bottom. The latest issue is the saw dust. When we picked it up the last time and brought it home to winterize it, we tried to put RV antifreeze in the tub and up came all the saw dust. Removed the stopper and it is full of sawdust. Had crack in tub. Bubbling shower trim and on and on. This last rime we picked the unit up December 22, the unit had been in the shop since July 2023. Out of 11 months we have actually had possession on the unit for approximately 1 1/2 months. I used it 3 weeks and the rest of that time was waiting to take it in for a new appointment. I used it 3 weeks and had the heater not working right on very cold nights and days, water coming from under the sofa, bench falling apart and the roof that took from Feb to Dec to get replaced. We have work orders from before we purchased it with a non working heater that was "repaired" as well as bumper damage "repair" that wasn't disclosed to us. We will never recommend nor purchase another Gulf Stream RV or any RV from Fun Town RV or recommend any service from Fun Town RV service center in Cleburne. Note: A Lemon Law only applies to manufacturers defects that are not fixed prior to a hearing. It doesn't matter how many issues you have or how long it takes to fix them as long as they are "fixed" before the hearing and doesn't include things like saw dust in your drains or refrigerator compartment after manufacturing or things that are not "manufacturing defects". Alright. So I thought I was getting a trailer that was built correctly. I'm 24 years old and I came in here and purchased a 2020 Forest River Cherokee off the lot in cash. I had been on lots looking at trailers for almost three weeks at this point and I fell in love with the one I picked out. I looked it over even yanked on stuff when I bought it to make sure that it wasn't going to just fall apart and man I did not do that to enough things. Within the first 24 hours of buying this trailer the motor on the hitch decided to stop working. It runs for about three seconds then shuts off deciding that it can't pick up or drop the hitch down. So we haven't been able to accurately park this thing at all. The dining room table that was installed into the dinette was installed with quarter inch screws which if you know anything about putting anything together with screws you would know that a table in a moving vehicle should have at least half inch to three quarters. Let alone anything screwed together should be done like that. And because it was installed with short screws they ripped out and the table fell onto of my 19 month old and gave him a concussion. So after spending the first night having to stay in a hotel and being in the Er with my child. I thought the worst was over. Nope I was wrong. My son thinks knocking on doors is a funny thing right now at his stage and tried to knock on the screen and the entire thing just fell out of its casing. All the stock stickers they put on this thing. And I mean there everywhere can't be removed because if you do they peel anything underneath it off. So we peeled one off of the door and it took the door color right off of it. So now I have these stickers that have to stay. At this point I called the dealership and I told them that I was worried that it was going to keep falling apart and that it was built awful. And sadly I was right. My husband walked out of the master bedroom and lightly hit his knee on the wall in the process and an entire section of edging ripped off because he tapped it. I have molding coming off of things within three days of use. And mind you we have been in hotels except for one night we got stuck because of the hitch issue. So we're barely using it as it is. Also they didn't put the cap on the fresh water tank so until I had the ability to get myself up to a water connection that was ran into a line I couldn't fill my tanks. Upon calling places to see where I can get the 50 cent cal that goes into it I was told I had to custom order it. So apparently it wasn't usable from bumper to bumper off of the lot. I think these trailers are built like crap. I wouldn't buy one to save my life and I mean that whole heartedly. And I want to add I love the layout of this thing so it breaks my heart I have to find a way to get rid of it. Everyday I walk around in this thing something breaks. I have two kids and we like to go out and adventure that's why I spent 26k$ on it. The layout is gorgeous but the way it was built ruins the entire enjoyment of it. To make it clear I regret buying this trailer and have made massive steps to be able to return it to another location and get my money back to buy something that's built to last. If your spending this much money it should be on something that isn't going to fall apart in the first couple days. And I think it's really disgusting that these people are building these things like this and not thinking about the fact that it's a liability when people put there kids in them. What am I supposed to do not take my kids camping with me? I mean that's ridiculous. I shouldn't have an injured child due to this and I shouldn't be having to sit here and pay out of pocket to fix all this because I want someone that's going to do it the right way. Don't buy a trailer from here I promise you will end up having to deal with a whole world full of shit. We've decided to hire legal counsel to handle this matter that's how bad I've found this thing is built. Also I'm sorry but no one allows my child to get hurt like that or any child for that matter and doesn't have to own up to it and pay for the damages. Don't trust them with your safety when there's people out there that will take your money for something that's built right. I hope this review saves you. read more

Their service mega center is a joke. They had our 5th wheel a month. First it was the parts are on order, then we find out they hadn't sent the estimate to the warranty company. Then we find out parts had not been ordered. We had a trip planned so we went and picked up the trailer and find a cut in the vinyl by the door which wasn't there when we left it!! Very poor customer service. We have a 2022 Cherokee Wolf Pup with a defective awning. Hauled it to Funtown RV service center in Cleburne, TX on September 26, 2022 to be looked at so warranty repair could be made. It's now October 27, 2022 and still not even the approval for the warranty repair. Called and left message a week ago for the service manager, but crickets. Once the sale is made, you're on your own. Dealing with this company has been one of the worst experiences I've encountered, from the sales department to the service department. I would recommend not purchasing any unit from any FunTown RV location and be sure to do plenty of research before you purchase a travel trailer. Do not believe or trust anything these guys tell you, it is a ploy only to get you to buy from them and once you've done that the value of the unit is immediately cut in half. read more

Bought our 2022 heartland big country, three months of owning it the rear AC stop blowing cold air is supposed to be the state of the art new AC units. Called Fun Town RV they were no help. They sent us to a third-party for issues and repairs and it says Fun Town is not associated or does any recommendations with the third-party pretty much you're on your own when buying from Fun Town RV, we bought two 5th wheels and both the salesman's when I call back or no longer there they have a bad turnaround on salesman they pressure the salesman. I recommend you go anywhere else to buy a travel trailer or fifth wheel. Fun Town is a rip off pay $90,000 for a travel trailer and they want to walk you through troubleshooting even when you buy a warranty buyer. Beware. Also, with the Better Business Bureau Fun Town, RV only has a one star go to camping world go anywhere but this place if you don't look at the reviews, you're the only one that can kick yourself in the butt. read more

Purchased a BRAND NEW RV Oct 2020. When it was delivered, there were some minor issues that had not been resolved before delivery -Hot spot didn't work, loose trim, missing drapery bracket, low water pressure for kitchen faucet. The beginning of April 2021, we took it in to have them taken care of, along with a bent stabilizer bar. We kept calling and calling, but were told each time that the service manager would call us for an update. For several months, we were constantly being told that they would look into the matter and call us back w/an estimated date of completion. Didn't happen. We contacted Customer Service and made arrangements to just pick it up and have them contact us when the parts came in since we needed it for an upcoming nonrefundable trip. Well, guess who's refrigerator isn't working now and smells really bad (because the electricity was off and it was closed from April through June at the Service Dept). Called them and started getting the same run around, "Sorry, we'll have someone look into it....". So now we have a 7 day RV trip starting w/no refrigerator... Please learn from my mistake, review this company, read all the comments and proceed at your own risk! read more

I emailed about a trailer for sale. Was told it was in good condition. Was talked into making a deposit by the sales guy Marcus Mcneil. Drove down to check out the trailer and found that it had issues with the floor and the vents in the roof were leaking. I was able to get the price lowered, with a verbal agreement to fix the vents. Two days before I was to pick up the camper I asked if the issues were fixed and did not get a reply for two days. I ended up getting my deposit back. I could see where it was going and it was not going to be good. They have a serious lack of communication, they are not up front and honest. If I could give them a negative rating I would. They sold us an RV with the extended warranty with the salesman of course promising it covered everything. Well 3 Ltd venture out, the thing flooded and guess what. Warranty covered nothing. It was going to be over $8k to fix due to having to remove the slide out. Long story short it took an attorney to finally get some results and it was the manufacturer that finally stepped up. Fun Town completely ignored all our calls. GO ELSEWHERE!! read more

This is a really long review but there were so many neglectful events that happened I have to share. My husband and I purchased a Cedar Creek fifth wheel from Fun Town RV. We found the floor plan we liked at Fun Town for $10k less than one closer. Since we are 5.5 hours one way from Fun Town Cleburne we called on 2/25 and got a quote from Salesman#1. We felt he wasn't taking us serious since never stepped in the door. He sent us a quote on 2/26 finally for the unit and we made a counter offer, he said he would take it to the sales manager. We wait for a couple of days. If any communication was made during this process we initiated it. We called him to be told he didn't take our counter offer to the sales manager because he (Salesman#1) didn't "understand it". Finally, a price was agreed upon on 3/3. We were approved on Thursday 3/4. We were told someone from finance would contact us...we waited...no contact. We called Salesman#1 on 3/6 and he said he would check on it. We had told Salesman#1 from the very beginning, there was only one weekend we could pick it up due to work and it was quickly approaching. On Wednesday, 3/10 we contacted them again. No one had saw the need to inform us that Salesman#1 had been on Covid quarantine since Monday and nothing was being done with our deal! We were transferred to Salesman#2, we told him our story and he suggested we speak to a manager. He knew we were unhappy because of all the events that had happened. We played phone tag with the manager the remainder of the day but finally spoke to Finance Guy around 4:30 pm on 3/10. What an arrogant jerk! He laughingly said, "Well your paperwork has ONLY been on my desk since the 4th." When we said, "This is the 10th! 6 days later. We are done! We want our deposit back" did Finance Guy finally begin to correct this nightmare we found ourselves in. The paperwork was emailed to us to sign, scan and return late Wednesday. But wait....on 3/11, after signing on the dotted line and returning the paperwork via FedEx Next Day Air to them, were we told that AFTER funding from the bank, would they install the washer/dryer and it would be an additional 3 day wait due to the fact we were titling it out-of-state!!!!! Wait....what? We were never told this! Once again,"We're done! We want our deposit back! Let's talk to a manager." Finance Guy said he would see what he could do. No word from them until we were called and told the washer/dryer was currently being installed :-) but they were out of dryers :-( and they were trying to find one in Dallas! I am panicking because our available weekend is here...it is Friday 3/12! We never got a call back saying they found a dryer but we were informed we could pick the unit up on Sunday 3/14 @ 1pm. We said, "Nope, that is not acceptable. We are not making a 10.5 hour round trip to Cleburne on Sunday because my husband has to return to work on Monday and drive 9 hours one way." Another miracle happened, it got moved up to Saturday at 4pm. We drive to Cleburne to pick up our beautiful, new unit...on the March 13th from Bay 13! NO! We should have known this wouldn't be the end of it! We bring our new rig home that we live in while not at work. We lock it up on Sunday with the key that was on a Fun Town key ring they gave us, my husband leaves on Monday for work and takes that key because we were given 4 more! I am staying at home this time. I go to lock the camper on Tuesday with one of the 4 remaining keys....not one of them will lock my door! The 4 additional keys we were given were to different units! We only have one key to lock it and it is hours away. On 3/16, I call Salesman#2....he said it would have to be ordered! "What? It stands to reason Mr. Salesman#2 that if we were given the wrong keys, our keys should be there at the dealership somewhere hanging on the wall! Unless of course they were given to someone else." I was told he would check on it....I'm still waiting to hear from anyone at Fun Town RV Cleburne, this is now the 30th of March. With our past experience with Fun Town we decided to purchase a keyless door lock and forego the nightmare of trying to get a key from them. I can now lock my camper with a keypad and to hell with Fun Town RV. DO NOT BUY FROM FUN TOWN RV!!! Do we regret buying from Fun Town....most definitely! This wasn't our first fifth wheel to purchase but it will definitely be our last from FunTown RV, we don't care how much cheaper they are, it isn't worth the nightmare you go through. read more

ZERO STARS!!!! Customer service is TERRIBLE!!! FunTown RV promised us that we would have our RV back by May 23, 2017. Today is July 13, 2017 and despite my twice weekly calls, we have NO expectations of when we will get our RV back, and we have NO update on the status of the repairs. Not only did we have to reconfigure our family vacation, but we STILL have to deal with the brain damage of an organization that can't retain critical staff, train the new employees who replace those who quit, and never mind TAKE CARE OF CUSTOMERS. My husband and I have been peaceful, pleading and straight forward, yet here we are: NO RV and NO TIMELINE FOR WHEN WE GET OUR RV BACK. I am profoundly disappointed. I expected more from FunTown RV. Our experience has shown me that it is a disjointed organization where the leadership puts sales first rather than customers. read more

This whole experience has been a nightmare from the day we picked up the RV in Oct. When picking out our RV, looking at about 5 RV same year and model, before we found one in their lot and "claimed it", that's how they said it. However, the one we claimed, was NOT the one we received. They had sold the one we picked out and choose a different one for us, again same year and model.. So during the walk through, of this new one they picked, at pick up we noticed the wall, that the bathroom door is on, had a warped to it. They informed us that it should never give us issues but if it should ever give us issues for us to bring it back and they will fix it under warranty. Regretfully we said ok.. During the first month of having the RV the trimming was falling off already and the screen door would not close correctly to the main door. Then shortly afterwards the bathroom door started to stick when opening and closing then eventually wouldn't close at all. Then the Bath tub started to leak water. So I emailed our sales guy in Jan, 2017.. After not getting anywhere with him I contacted the Service Dept, never heard back from them either, so I called and talked to a manager. Finally got a little somewhere in Feb, 2017 and got on the Books to take the RV in for servicing in April. They "fixed" the basic issues, wish I could upload pictures of some of their "fix jobs".. However, when it came to the warped wall, they didn't want to fix it. They didn't want to submit it into warranty. Their solution to the door not closing, do to the warp of the wall, was to just realign the bathroom door to fit the warped wall. When I told them that wasn't good enough they said they would try to heat up the wall to straighten it back out for me.. And they still realigned the door. I get a call in May to came pick up my RV. I looked it over and besides the hack job on the fixes, things looked ok, but the wall still had a slight warp to it but they said it should be fine from here on out. We went to use it last month (July) for the first time since picking it up. I went out the week before going to air it out.. Upon walking in I noticed the wall was warped again, more than when I picked it up. The bathroom door wouldn't open.. The trim had fallen off, which we fixed so the door would open and shut again.. Then I turned on the AC, ONLY to find out it didn't even work now!!!!! I went to adjust the temperature on the thermostat, on the warp wall, only for the cover to fall right off, which I was able to fix also.. But the AC still would not work.. Also, there is a black tarp looking thing under the front end of the RV that keeps retaining water. Not sure if this is normal or not. But didn't notice it before we took it in in April. SOOOOO.. I called the dealer ship back in July, to only get, well we can get you in in Sept... Are you joking.. A manager from there was supposed to call me back, but of course no call yet. I called them back today and now they can't get me in till OCTOBER !! So now I have to wait a whole another month, due to their manager never calling me back... I had this RV for 9 months and only got to use it TWICE.. Now I have to wait till Oct for it to even be looked at again. When it's not working due to their hack job on trying to fix a warped wall that they wouldn't place through warranty to begin with.. Then if they take a month or two to fix it, wham, guess what.. warranty is over.. So if anything goes wrong with it when I get it back, and can actually use it, I'm screwed... NO this is NOT ACCEPTABLE !!!! I didn't pay over $20k for an RV I can't use, that's falling apart, and will be out of warranty before I can even use it.. I will be seeking higher ups on this issue !!! read more
