The staff provided all of the amenities (mask, helmet, car, safety, etc.) and were very knowledgeable. The cars went quite fast and took turns very well. The laps/duration felt perfectly-timed and the process for waiting for your turn was seamless. They recorded the races via helmet cam and at the end they give you a QR code/email in which you can see the race results. To note: there is NO BUMPING and they can control how fast your car goes. If there is ever an 'incident' they can slow all of the cars down to prevent any injuries. All in all it was a lovely time. I would highly recommend. However, it can be very pricey. It cost $104.97 for three PreSeason discount tickets. We drove almost two hours from Newark to Egg Harbor Township because we heard great things about this place. It's known for having a fairytale-themed park with lots of creative statues and interactive sets that represent popular fables like "Mother Goose" and "Goldilocks and The Three Bears." The location is smaller than most parks I've been to, which is good for little kids who want to run to every ride. In a span of two hours, my family and I got on everything minus a couple attractions. There is ample parking for cars, and the entrance is bold with its large sign and white and red castle. The park played Disney music, which was soo cute! I remember hearing soundtracks from Mulan, Cinderella, and The Little Mermaid. None of the rides felt too scary for kids, even the roller coasters weren't extreme. There's also rides where kids can feel like they're driving a car, and a train that shows you the entire park. My favorite ride was "Bubbles the Coaster" and "The Rockin' Tug." The only issue with this park are the food selections. The lunch that my family had here wasn't good- at least from the cafe right next to the exit/gift shop; everything from the cheeseburger, french fries, and cookies tasted stale and more on the cold side than the hot side. I wouldn't recommend ordering food here, but everything else was great. I don't think I'll visit again only because it's so far from where I live, but this was a good one-time experience that I was able to have with my family. If you're in the area, I would encourage you to stop by and feel like you're in a magical world!

I had myself an adventure last Sunday at Treetop! One of my friends who is a regular here invited…read moreme and I couldn't wait to get started. They weren't open yet when we arrived, so we waited 15 minutes for them to prep the courses. There are picnic tables and port-a-potties available for use at the entrance. One of the employees got us all checked in and provided gloves, which were free since the tickets were purchased via Groupon. You can choose from small, medium, large or extra large sizes. We stood on the deck and got our harnesses on and tightened by an employee. He went over some safety rules and we completed a trial course to ensure we understood the procedures for zip lining. Once he cleared us, we were free to navigate the park on our own! We started with course 2, then we moved on to course 4. After that we completed course 3 and finally course 1. Some of the courses were challenging but all of them were equally fun. It was a gloomy day so it wasn't busy and we felt like we could take our time completing each obstacle. The zip lining was especially thrilling and the harness is comfortable enough where you don't feel any pressure in your thighs. Treetop Quest was a blast and I hope to be back in the summer months!

We had pre-booked online and confirmed our reservations. Unfortunately my little one missed the cutoff to climb even on the chick pea course by a couple months. So we then still purchased the kids course gloves and took turns being a cheerleader with her. We also purchased gloves for ourselves which I highly recommend. We are then weighed in to make sure we are below the maximum required 250lbs weight. Then proceeded to harness fitting and course training area. Then we headed to the course 2A which was not for the faint of heart as we assumed it would be...hahaha. I witnessed a few rescues before actually going but I tried not to make that discourage me from partaking! It wasn't a hot day but found that I did sweat a lot due to the activity of course. The courses are level 1 (beginners), level 2 (moderate but with obstacles through the course and some zip lines), level 3 (mostly zip lines), 4 (most challenging course). We walked away feeling accomplished and proud of ourselves with the motto "I can do hard things"!

Parking is easy - $10 for the whole day (and the waterfront is really lovely to walk along, and only a short walk from there to the USS New Jersey battleship). Lines move along quickly to get us in and they took our CityPass and got us our wristbands. Positives: -Lots of different things to experience. Some spaces are a little more kid-oriented, including a pirate search as walking through different mini exhibits. -There is a cool area where you can talk to scuba divers as they work in the big tank. -The rope walk over the shark tank. It's so secure you never feel any danger of falling in, but it is cool to walk over open tank. Child #3 loved this. -The shark tunnel where you are underwater and able to see all the animals swimming around you. -Plenty of bathrooms in each area, all with a clean changing station. -IMAX level movie theater with movies every hour. -Lots of interactive displays. Negatives: -The whole aquarium feels a little fragmented, like spokes on a wheel, which required a lot of backtracking if we wanted to go see a different section of the aquarium. -There are two touch tank areas, including a very large room which can easily fit over 100 people but only one sink to wash up after handling rays and other marine life. Overall decent place to take the family and experience the beauty of our oceans!

We finally made it to the Adventure Aquarium. We visited on a weekday morning and as expected…read moreduring that time, crowds were minimal. After going through a bag check area, your tickets are scanned. There are bathrooms and a locker area in case you want to store items...this is helpful, particularly during the colder months when you are carrying around heavy coats. You head upstairs where there are a few food areas selling the the typical snacks you'd expect, popcorn, pretzels, drinks...there was also a "grill" area but it didn't seem to be open on our late morning weekday visit. The aquarium itself is lovely with some great exhibits throughout. Wide variety of fish as expected but also some other unexpected sea creatures such as a variety of eels and jellyfish and a giant pacific octopus. The large central tank that contains various sharks, stingrays, sea turtles and other sea animals was great...and viewable from multiple sides. There are touch tanks containing smaller stingrays, smaller sharks and some reefs. There is also the "Shark Bridge" which is a cool concept. The Hippo tank is massive and offers some great up close views of them. Overall, I would expect to stay 2-3 hours, depending on how many exhibits you want to read and see. A quicker view-only walkthrough can be done in about an hour. Admission prices are about $34-$42 for adults and $29-$36 for children depending on the day...weekends are more expensive than on weekdays. I think that is a bit high for what you get...prices of about $25-$30 may be more appropriate. Be sure to check for discounts...we saved about 15% by getting tickets through AAA. Parking was $10 but there was a $5 credit when paying using the kiosk inside the aquarium. All staff encountered were great...except the parking lot attendant, who wasn't.
