Been coming here since it opened and I liked that it has upgraded to better and more open space. The kids have lots of different things to do and keep them entertained. We were there today to celebrate my friend's son's birthday and it was great just very hot and it felt musty in the room even though there's fans all over the place which is good. The reason I'm giving a 3 star it's because every single time I come the bathroom is not being kept and very messy. No toilet paper and water everywhere. I know it's always busy but that's also important to upkeep. read more

We were greeted with the friendliest service at the front desk and were excited for the kids to play. Unfortunately, my 7-year-old was injured on the basketball trampoline when a teenage boy double-jumped next to him. My son hurt his knee and burst into tears while the teen ignored him and denied what happened. We saw the entire thing happen. An employee nearby said, "they haven't been listening to us," but that's not enough--teens who don't follow rules shouldn't be allowed to play around younger kids. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, gave us an ice pack, and had the teens removed. Safety should be enforced more strictly, with real consequences when rules are ignored. I am writing this to warn other parents about the complete lack of safety and professional accountability at Jump Around Chula Vista. During my son's 11th birthday party, hosted at Jump around, he and his friend were physically assaulted by a 16 year old guest. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they remained passive and failed to intervene. Management was dismissive and defensive, showing zero empathy for our traumatized children and guests. Furthermore, while I have attempted to escalate this, the regional manager responded to a single email only to ignore all of my subsequent follow-ups. If you care about your children's safety, do not host a party here. They prioritize profit over providing a safe environment for the families they serve. The safety monitors failure to Intervene when our 11 year olds were being physically assaulted is negligence, and management has yet to respond with how they will prevent this from happening again. read more

My son had a wonderful time at Jump Around! He did the climbing wall 4x, and the Green Pillars Climbing Attraction 2x! With these, he was definitely strapped in tightly in the harnesses they provide, and he safely climbed with the supervision of the employee of JA. My son also enjoyed the trampoline park, dodge ball areas, and the humongous inflatable jumphouse in the back (where there is a wall climbing area too). We had a concerning experience at The Jump Around. My son tried the wall climbing, but he wasn't strapped in properly by staff. When he came down, he nearly flipped, and my husband had to step in quickly to catch him. This was very scary and could have ended much worse. Safety should be a top priority, especially for activities like this. I hope the staff receive better training to ensure kids are properly secured before climbing. read more

I have brought my kids here many times and had purchased the monthly membership, I finally decided to cancel after my last visit. The music playing is highly inappropriate for this to be a kids place, missy Elliott get your freak on is absolutely not appropriate. I understand you hire teens to run the place but there should be at least one adult present working to monitor. They pick and choose when to enforce rules and truthfully it's just not a safe place for small kids. I would love to have the option to take my kids there since it's the only play place in the area but I really would need assurances on the the atmosphere. read more

We've been here many times. The kids have fun each time we've gone. They have trampolines, giant bounce house, dodge ball, claw machine, arcade games, etc. They sell food (like pizza, hotdog, pretzel, and more) and drinks. They have party rooms and tables that you can reserve for your special events. Parking is okay. I think the space is a little cramped. In my opinion, the party tables are too close to each other. I can't speak for the space rental price as we've never booked our own party here. We just attended parties that our friends have thrown. The staff do clean up once your party is done so I'm sure people appreciate that they offer that service. read more

I called on March 10 to cancel our memberships. The employee who answered assured me I would not be charged for the following month because our memberships' effective date was the 14th. Two days later I discovered my card had already been charged. I called again and had to wait hours for a manager to call me back regarding a refund. When he finally did, he refused to refund the charge. Very disappointing customer service after being members for a year and a half. It seems they'd rather keep one month's charge than keep 3 customers. read more

Party was good despite staff being difficult to work with. The check in was rough. There was a big family ahead of us while only one person was at the party check-in table. The other was off doing something. I had to repeat my phone number 5 times for the lady to look up the waiver. The waiver for one of my kids was missing. On the tablet it said "Looks good" so I thought I was done. I wasnt. Then they said I couldnt bring in the veggie tray I bought for my guests. I knew there was a policy about not bringing-in food sold there, but I didnt see any specific list on the website of what I couldnt bring. I asked them to look the other way. Even though I was spending more than $700 to have my kid's party there, they gave me no flexibility and confiscated it. They brought it back at the end of my party to take home even though I told them to just enjoy it because I wouldnt have a use for it at that point. Meanwhile, my wife saw other people that had boxes of Domino's pizza and other outside food at their tables. As for the snack bar, my sister tried 3 times to get a pretzel. Twice they said they didnt have any ready yet, and the third time they were about to give them to her but then said someone else had ordered them and they had no others to give her. The greed of the place really bothered me. Ultimately, not looking the other way about my veggie tray will cost them more money because of the damage ro their reputation caused by their stinginess and the fact that I won't hold another party there. I find it really disappointing that you have to pay for more than 2 hours just to let your kids access the extra rides. The place is already pretty small for the price, and some of the play areas get overcrowded with no staff present to manage the number of kids. This makes it feel unsafe--especially for toddlers who end up in the same spaces as much older kids (and even some adults) who aren't paying attention or watching their children properly. It creates a chaotic and potentially hazardous environment. This place has potential, but it definitely needs better structure and supervision. read more

We hosted my sons 7 yr old bday party here. I had booked weeks in advanced. Their process was extremely smooth and all of the employees were friendly and courteous from the first time we came in to book, to the end of the actual party. They had the most affordable party packages and were close by to the house. It would just be nice to have the party tables spaced out more from the next party. It was also a bit confusing when we walked in since there was a table with ppl checking in and inside as well. Alot of my guests were not aware they could just walk in to find us, and I was not aware either. Otherwise, it was a lot of fun for both kiddos and the grown ups. I have not had any issues with this place, staff are always friendly and they always keep watch over the kids while they are at play. They do have food, snacks and drinks. The staff at the front desk do not inform you with consistent information. You have to be very careful to not get sucked into any membership or promotion. I was talked into a promotional membership and I was told I could cancel before the end of October with no issues. When I canceled there were of course issues. I called to cancel within the 3rd week of October and was told on the phone that the membership was in cancelled without issue. Then I noticed my credit card was continuing to be charged after the cancellation. When I called to straighten out the situation the business decided I was beholden to a continued membership. I am still to this day trying to no longer be a member, there is no concern for integrity of their staff explanations at the front desk and what actually happens when they get your credit card in their system. I do not condone this type of business and I do not recommend visiting this Jump Around with your family. If you want a fun bounce around opportunity with your child there are several other buisnesses (Ninja Factory, Play City etc.) that offer a more than satisfactory experience and do not take advantage of their customers in this way. If you choose this location, I recommend paying in cash so they do not have your credit card information on file, and under no circumstances should you sign up for any membership here unless you intend to be a member in perpetuity. read more

I've hosted several kids' birthday parties in the past, but this was by far the most disappointing experience. When I made the reservation, I was informed that outside food was allowed, with the only restriction being that we couldn't bring items already on their menu. However, during the party, we were suddenly told there would be a charge of $25 for each large party tray and $15 for each small one. This was news to me, and when I raised the issue, the manager claimed it was mentioned in the confirmation email-which was buried in a quite lengthy email. The party room, meant for 20 kids, was cramped, stuffy, and uncomfortably warm. Most of our guests avoided using the space because it was so uncomfortable. The entire play area was also quite warm, making it unpleasant for everyone. While I understand it's summer, the prices charged by this venue should at least cover a proper cooling system. You're better off going to a different venue in Chula Vista that doesn't add on extra hidden fees, has air conditioning and the party room is worth what you're paying for. read more

I've been to three trampoline parks in San Diego now (including this one) and Jump Around is the BEST! My son and I came to Jump Around in the middle of the day on a weekday before school let out. He had a dentist appointment prior that overlapped nap time (he's four). So, I thought this would be the perfect time to go to a trampoline park! Naturally, the staff was very kind and accommodating, no weird rules or constant pay for a locker. There is an arcade but very small ... which I appreciate since my 4YO loves spending $10 for a ring pop!..... Best part: If you were a gymnastics or cheerleader and believe age is just a number, you've got ample space to tumble . Why? Because the trampolines are long and wide and not choppy where every second you have to be sure you're not going to land on the hard part. . All in all, whether it's 1pm in the afternoon on a weekday or 6pm on a Saturday, we've found our new favorite Trampoline Park-- Jump Around! read more

Celebrated my 5 year old sons birthday here. I was contemplating between here and other jumpy places. It's been months/years since we been here. Took the kids before the party to see if my son would like it and he enjoyed himself. I thought it was a great place for big and small kids as other jump places there's an age limit. Here- depending on the activity- there's an age restriction- I think it's jus the sky walk tho. I dragged my feet in booking. The day/time frame I wanted got booked up- so we opted for a friday night. I was hoping since it was Friday. It wouldn't be as busy but it still was. I started off with the smallest package I think it's 11 kids but I paid $100 to have a room for 2hrs. The employees told me I could upgrade and not downgrade. So I didn't want to commit to a big party and then lose money. They offer different packages and add ons. I think they have 3 rooms in a row and depending on the pacakage- u can have two rooms or pay extra for the room. Once I got my headcount- I upgraded to the Ny Ny package for 21 kids- I decided to just keep the one room. Thankfully my friends used the outside tables. I could've sworn the website said we couldn't do that but the employees were kind and said we could. Maybe cos it wasn't as busy being Friday night. I think all the activities were available except for the basketball which I believe will turn into something else. You can bring any dessert at no charge. They have icy pitchers that the kids enjoyed after running around so much. They could definitely use more staffing. That or all the young kids keep hiding in the back. They didn't start my party on time- so I requested they adjust my party room time and they accommodated me. They did run out of sick sizes I think we needed small but we made do. Not all food is ordered from outside- so if you need more food for your party. You are able to order. Packages: I ended up doing the NYNY package which is 21 kids. I think the celebrant is free. 2hrs play 2hrs private room (holds 30 supposedly) Each kid gets 1 water bottle (normally $1/bottle) I want to say they didn't allow water pitchers which I thought was odd. So u have to buy their water bottles or capris suns. 4 xl cheese pizzas (3rd party- must let them know how many pizzas you want in advance like 2-3 days in advance). U can pay extra for specialty pizzas/toppings Plates, cups, utensils napkins etc provided. Guests do not have to wait in the long line to check in I think. Just let them know up front. Inform your guests to arrive 30mins early tho cos check in is still a pain and takes awhile. I suggest also reminding your guests to sign the waivers prior to attending also. Cons: you can bring outside food/drinks that they already offer. No water bottles, no capri suns, no pizza, chicken tenders, Cesar salad etc. You can bring outside food if it is not on their menu BUT you will be charged per tray size. Private room is very small. Apparently holds 30 guests. I tried asking for extra tables for the food but they said they didn't have any. So I had use their food carts to place the extra food on. No piñata area. If you buy a package and include the prepaid game card promo. i.e. pay $5 in advance and get $7 game credit. On the day of- you cannot add the promo on. Something to do with their computer system. Thankfully the workers worked with me but I think I pretty much paid full prices for extra cards. Where as if you paid in advance- you have incentive. read more

Jump around is a great place to take the kids out of the house and get some exercise in while having a great time! I went ahead and bought the tickets online and signed the waivers as well which was really convenient and showed up to the place and gave them my order number and was in and jumping in no time! You are allowed to bring your own jump socks in if you have them and anyone who enters even if they dont jump must have a waiver as well. The place is fairly large with a huge half size jumping arena to jump in as well as 2 dodge ball courts, a basketball hoop as well as a toddler area for the smaller kids. They even have a lot of foam cubes to jump in and land that perfect jump you been practicing for. They also have some fun events for the kids such as rock climbing, a large block to climb, and a stepping area to climb as well which are all backed up by a safety harness. They have a obstacle course to walk on to test your balance skills that ends with a slide to the foam pit. All the activities are all included with your entrance fee so I suggest to try a little of everything to get the full experience. They have a lot of tables to sit at nd benches to watch your jumpers and also they have private rooms to host birthday party's. They have a food court as well with prices fairly cheap and some vending machines. Great spot to jump and bring your kids but beware of the older kids running around fast and furious like there is no tomorrow. I have never been more infuriated with a business before! The staff members are rude and lazy they don't help the kids with the harness. The kids stand there for a long time waiting for assistance and are ignored if other kids walk in front of them. We attended a birthday party here. They have rooms for birthday parties you can rent. We waited in line for about 20 minutes on a weekend to get our wristband for entrance. Make sure to fill out your waivers online prior to visit to make your wait time shorter. They don't provide ice packs in case your kid gets hurt but they will give you a baggy of ice. They do provide green socks every jumper must wear. They also have kiosks you where you can fill out the paperwork. They place is pretty big, bathrooms are clean, staff was short-staffed when we went. Besides their trampoline area, there games to play, some provide tickets you can later exchange at the prize counter. They have a very small snack bar with junk food galore. We had an Icee, it was so refreshing after jumping around. They day we went, I believe their A/C stopped working, it was so warm and stuffy in the whole building.
