Considering the circumstances, this has been an overall pleasant experience. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. Irma is super sweet. Sandra, the funeral director, is amazing! Sheena, the mortician, went above and beyond in expectancy for what she does. Very quick response time. Extremely organized and everything detailed. Im beyond grateful to this company for everything. Great values with this company. They made this process as easy as possible. I highly recommend them. I can't thank them enough for everything. Thank you!

I can't say enough how helpful and stress free gong to Funeral Caring for their services was for me and my family . As this was the first death I had to arrange and unfortunately know will have to do more in the future . This provider has multiple locations and each venue has a different feel . It took me three different venues to finally say once I walked in to the third location , This is it !! :) My care coordinator was awesome and kept me informed of all paper work to be completed and all this done virtually and over the phone which was a plus . Then financially having difficulty they worked with us , it was not discounted but allowed us to bring in the fund on different days with no pressure . These people are very Courteous at each location and knowledgeable . Thank you Funeral Caring for helping us with my mother in laws viewing . She looked beautiful as well . I know momma would have been proud .

Mossrock location. Cynthia, the manager, stopped her cleaning of the area to give me a tour.

I myself am a Veteran of The Gulf War in the 90s and as a Disabled Lady Vet I will likely be interred here as well. I like that they give me options as I can be cremated, or have any casket I like interred here, and my husband can be buried with me. My children will have a beautiful place to visit us and their ancestors. i love that it is kept neat and tidy and the rows are very impressive. You DO have to follow their guidelines as to what can be placed with your loved ones on the graves during visits as well as what type of flowers can be left there. JUST AN FYI, do not leave anything at ANY cemetery that you will be devastated if it is stolen. I saw someone on here post that their little boys cars were taken by the grounds keepers and zip ties were left on the grave. That was more likely done by someone stealing them. I have seen it at every cemetery here in San Antonio. I have literally watched ppl steel flowers off someone's grave and put it on their loved ones. It is very disgraceful but it happens. I am a bit scared to be a lady vet buried alongside all the good ole boy vets who did not like women serving, but I served my country well and will till the day I go, not my administration, my country, my children's country, my grandchildren's country. I just hope those men don't haunt me day and night. lol.

He passed at 6 years of age and we took him his favorite flowers and the cars he liked. These cars were the size of a matchbox. We placed a bouquet of yellow and blue flowers and we had to zip tie them together because we didn't want them to fly away. We went today and they took all his cars and for some stupid reason they took all his yellow flowers and left his blue flowers. They cut the zip ties and threw the zip ties on his grave. They discarded everything with absolutely no care. It was already a devastating loss in our lives and for them to treat my grandsons graveside like trash is ridiculous and utterly disgusting. We were planning on removing everything this Friday the 6th because they posted the next flower pick up was scheduled for March 10th through the 12th. They jumped the gun and they should have had the decency to wait a few more days and this disgusting gesture would've never happened. Very dissaapointed and sad. I'm ashamed at everyone at Fort Sam National Cemetery

My father was cremated and a Veteran whos remains were buried at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Mr. Bass was my initial point of contact and was very caring and kind as he assisted with my pre-need arrangement plan for my Father, who was 94 years of age. While speaking to Mr. Bass, I realized that I too would have to cross this bridge so it was best to start my own pre-need. When the time came to use my Father's pre-need arrangement plan, shortly after acquiring it, my family was met with the kindest, most caring person we could have asked for: Kassi Quintanilla. She welcomed my family, on the day of his death, with patience and understanding of this tragic event although it we knew the time would arrive. Kassi, followed the procedures dotting all i's and crossing all t's. She worked with the cemetery to ensuring my Dad would have the honors he deserved and followed up almost daily to check on me and my needs. From the very beginning, I knew that the Lord had sent this angel (Kassi) to watch over me while I navigated this difficult process. Picking up my Dad's ashes was truly a tough task but the staff was there to support me. Most of my Family have been buried with the services of Meadowlawn over the course of many years. But I have never had the level of care during any of our processes as I have had with Kassi and I am so appreciative. Even after the services, Kassi followed up just to say she was thinking of me and my family and wanted to wish us well. Well done "Meadowlawn" for seeing in Kassi Quintanilla, a gift that will continue to give me sweet memories for a lifetime. Kassi, Mr. Bass and the young lady to escorted me to the car for my Dad's final ride with me, Thank you, from the bottom of my heart and may God keep you, Always
