Customer service was OK, and they have an area/ kitchen for families to bring coffee etc. and plenty of seating areas.. however, they lack parking your left with having to find parking on the street which is extremely difficult because they are in a residential area. I am extremely thankful to Dalia for helping carry out my dad's funeral services. It was a relief to have Dalia as my funeral director. She was attentive with my requests, patient when I delayed getting back to her, and over sympathetic towards the situation. Despite of losing my dad and being in pain over it, I'm grateful I didn't have to deal with every single aspect of putting his funeral. Dalia made the entire situation smoother, and my dad's funeral turned out beautifully. The dining area is pretty big and held my guest to eat after the service. My husband passed away in February, one month to the day before his 60th birthday. He had been sick but this was totally unexpected. We called a few places and we happened upon this location. They were definitely the least expensive so I was a bit weary but from the moment we got there, and trust me, it was chaos as I had 3 of my adult kids & 2 grandbabies with me. A 2 year old is busy! But Leticia helped us & was kind, patient & extremely helpful. She really made the process so easy as did Maria. We had many changes, additions and complications & things of our own my daughter created to be added in for the service, but they worked with us so beautifully. This type of situation has many moving parts. People don't understand the coordination that goes into the planning and executing of such an event. They were even willing to allow us to do the repast there. That changed in the end too and I went another way but they were always accomodating, helpful & pleasant. No one ever wants to be in a situation like this & I had just lost my sister in law in July & my mother in September. This was a lot for me, my kids & the family in general. My in laws now had lost 2 children out of 4. But if I ever find myself in this situation again, I will definitely come back. It almost felt like dealing with family. Leticia even let me vent to her throughout this situation and that says a lot in the midst of what felt like a tornado in my life. I am in tears as I write this because the kindness we were shown is very rare in a business setting & yes, at the end of the day, this is a business...but the compassion we were shown makes all the difference. It seems my family has been surrounded by chaos for about 2 and a half years now & the day of the service was no different. We had to call an ambulance for my 2 yr old grandaughter there at the mortuary. Thankfully we were blessed that it all came out all right & she was OK & back at the house before we even got out of the service. Thank GOD! But they rolled with our situation & helped where they could as we were delayed in starting the service. Everything from beginning to end was a great experience for us & I am so thankful we found them in our time of need. We were/are constantly surprised too with all the wonderful things that came along with the package, right up until the other day when we received a hard cover book with all the pictures, scripture, video links & the obituary. It is beautiful! I'm sure we set up a lot of this stuff the day we went in but I don't remember a lot about that day. I was in a fog. But these things will be remembered as a kindness done for our family, a lifetime of memories bound in a keepsake we can pass on to the grandkids, a place they see their Gampy and keep his memory alive. Oh and the lady who did my husband's make up, Helen...All I can say is she is AMAZING! She made him look so good that you would have sworn he was just resting. She is an artist! Yes!!!! 100%. My loved one was a proud US Marine. This location took care of ALL the arrangements!!! They were able to communicate with the military base and the all the additional parties like the airport, freedom riders, honoring our falling inc., and Miramar national cemetery to coordinate my loved one's final resting place. They picked up my hero from Burbank Airport on an angel flight, and they transported him to Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego. They have a kitchen, big viewing room, free parking, and additional incentives. They transported all the flowers to the cemetery and played all the videos and pictures of him during the viewing. Leticia and Vanessa were our angels during our worst time in our lives. I spent hours alone with my little boy before the public was let in. I appreciated the individual time with my hero. The staff took care of his appearance and greeting all his guest. I'm honored that we were able to hold his viewing here. Don't think twice this is the place. My mother passed away. From the moment I called Funeraria Del Angel, we were treated kindly by Ceclilia, Before we do any paperwork my mother passed away. She introduced us to Christina Sandoval she went above and beyond to help us easy the paperwork transfer my mom to their facility, arrange all funeral services including set up the cremation services at the cemetery. Christina helped with our mothers services to run smooth. The funeral home is well arranged to accommodate my big family and friends. The services at cremation sight also excellent from the moment we left the funeral home to the end of the cremation site service a staff member from Funeraria Del Angel was with us to make sure everything run smoothly. The manager Leticia was extremely disrespectful and rude during the final 30 minutes of the service. The cleaning and final paperwork should have been done at 4pm when our time was up. Leticia ruined our final moments saying goodbye to our beloved grandma. She has zero compassion, maybe it is time for her to retire because she looked so bitter and made things uncomfortable at the end. read more

They use your grieving and sadness to price gouge you. My mother had them pick up my Father. They did not tell her the cost of anything. After finding out they charge 4 to 6 times what other companies charge for cremation. After finding this out we went with another company. So Praiswater charged my mother storage of 100 dollars a day ending up the cost to cremate my Father with the other company. This deserves a 0 star rating. Dont' bother using this morturary. You won't have any parking for your mourners, and if they are as unprofessional as they were yesterday at my Uncles Mothers funeral, then I can't imagine what kind of service you would receive for your loved ones. They have NO COMMON DECENCY! While attending this funeral yesterday at Angeleno's Morturary, which is in the same parking lot, the Praswater staff found it necessary to call TOW TRUCKS to remove any cars parked in "their" spots. Please note that "their spots" have NO signs saying so. You would have no way of knowing! Imagine this. The funeral service has just started. The Vicker/Priest begins his opening prayer. The eldest son comes up to share thoughts and memories about his mother. The grief is palpable, and the sense of mourning in the room is undeniable. During this speech, you notice a mortuary worker come in and ask for another family member to step outside....WAIT WHAT? Yes, step outside for a moment. Then this family member rushes over to the pulpit to announce that if you parked in any spaces belonging to the Praiswater Mortuary, please pass your keys down and she will move your car because tow trucks have been dispatched. Wait What? Yep! Thats what happened. Unbelievable. Service completely stopped within 10 mins of starting, people rushing out to move their cars while Praiswater staff tells these mourners "they don't care". Saddest part of all of this is that THAT part of the funeral will probably be remembered the most! How dare they! You are in the business of comforting people during their time of grief.....just because they were attending a service NEXT DOOR AND NOT AT YOUR PLACE doesn't give you the right to be so damn heartless! Wouldn't you have rather seen a yelp review praising you for being so accommodating to us yesterday? MAYBE you will get another chance to do it right next time! Want to talk about UNPROFESSIONAL, they do not deserve a single star...My experience with Praiswater was while attending a funeral for my Cousin's mother at the Angeleno Mortuary next door. The service had just began: the Vicker had finished his opening prayer, my Cousin's brother had shared a memory of his mother, when workers came in and whispered into my Cousin's wife's ear. She then ran around to the back of the pulpit and had to interrupt the service to announce that anyone parked in the back lot had to move our cars because "they were about to be towed." I was livid and appalled, to say the least. So I had to get up and leave the service to spend the next 15 minutes trying to find a place to park. I had driven my mother to the service in her car, which has handicapped plates due to my parents disabilities. The only handicapped spot we could find was at what appeared to be the back of Angeleno Mortuary. Turns out it was Praiswater's parking...there was not a "parking only for Praiswater" sign or anything, so we had parked there under the impression it was Angeleno's back lot. The workers from Angeleno even stated that they had told Praiswater that the service had just began and they replied, "we don't care". Angeleno kindly let me park in their hearse spot, once I drove around so many times, so I wouldn't miss any more of the service. By the time I returned to the service I at least got to hear part of my Cousin's speech and the closing prayer, yet missed all the middle portion of the service and my chance to share a memory. The worst part, there were not other cars in Praiswater's lot besides the three of us from the service and their landscaper. So if this is how they treat people grieving next door, can you imagine how they treat their customers? The other reviews are true... read more

Typical car salesman, which is what we should have asked in regards to his career. Ultimately, main concern was financials. Out of all the mortuaries we've shopped with, this is the slimiest and moneyhungry. Was offended when asked about details within pricing such as flowers, cards or other features our thousands are paying for. Thank goodness this was only preparation, otherwise beware!
