At first it was a little strong, but after having massages for years I knew to just go with it and eventually my body would finally relax, and it did. My guy (sorry I did not get any names for this review) must have studied anatomy for all his life, his knowledge of bone structure as well as the muscles helped him find knots that I didn't even know I had issues with. Through lot's of heavy pressure points and massaging he was able to get out all my knots as well as help loosen up my stubborn frozen shoulder that has given me problems for years. DO NOT GO!!!!! One word: GREED! We went there on a Saturday afternoon and surprisingly, a lot of people walked into this place. The problem is, the owner was more about quantity than quality. Everyone that walks in, he would say, "sit, 20 minute wait," then he would rush through the massages. First of all, the massage was not good at all. I have had many massages by many different places, even had a Thai massage where she was pulling and digging into my muscles, but I have never had to tell the masseuse to ease up; I have a pretty high tolerance for pain. For the first time, I had to tell this dude to ease up and he just laughed and said "no pain, no gain." I don't think this dude knew what he was doing. Second, I think he was either the owner or the manager because he kept getting up in the middle of my massage to except payments, greet incoming customers, and even try to settle a dispute with a customer and another masseuse, which leads to the third reason why you should STAY AWAY from this place. Apparently, one of the masseuse didn't feel that she received enough tip and had the audacity to ask for more. I heard her tell the people, we normally get at least this much and the customer was like, "is she really asking for more tip; I have never been to a place where they ask for more tip." Welcome to Chinatown; where they provide less than acceptable, forget professional, services but expect to be tip liked a Michelin Star restaurant! They first place your feet in a barrel of warm water, which is really nice. I always feel refreshed afterwards. If you do the chair massage, expect them to be firm unless you request otherwise. I haven't experienced the weird tipping demands that I'm reading about. $28 is a great deal for the 40-minute massage, so I typically give them $35 total. read more
