    I purchased a Groupon for the Vinylux Manicure for a little under $15. I made an appointment about a week prior. The service and quality here were spectacular. Once I was seated the person who prepped my nails did an amazing job, taking his time with each step, trimming my cuticles, and making sure I was okay with the shape of the nails I had requested. Truly top notch attention to detail. I don't get my nails done frequently, but they were patient with me and answered all of my questions without judgment. Nearly a month after my manicure, my nails had very minimal chipping. The place is located in a quiet neighborhood, and the vibes are chill and peaceful with pop music covers playing in the background. Location is easy to get to and close to a Caltrain station. Would definitely come back to get my nails done again here, fantastic value!

    Mai (sp?) did a beautiful job with my gel manicure. The picture doesn't do it justice. She was careful with my cuticles and added an extra coat or two to protect my thin nails which I'd damaged by pulling off my press-on nails. They look natural!

    When I moved into the apartment complex down the street, I was not expecting the salon just next door to be one of my favorite salons I've ever been to. I've been shocked that every time I go in to get a gel manicure, I leave with great results that last for weeks! The ladies at the salon are sweet and funny. I have three photos from three different occasions posted below. As you can see, the nails look great and are even across all fingers.

    I've been here multiple times but it's normally for waxing. One day I decided to get my nails done after my waxing because I was already here. I have never found a nail salon that I am satisfied with until I came here. I like that the staff here is attentive, friendly and very detailed with my nails. They really take their time to make sure the shape of the nails are all the same. Although they are out of my way, I usually will make my way over there during the weekend or after work because of how much I like their work.

    Had such a great experience here. First, I almost exclusively do my own nails because it's so often a lackluster experience or the service just doesn't yield the greatest of results and leaves me having to fix it later or rehab from it for a few weeks. This was GREAT. The location is in a quiet neighborhood. Parking was simple. The space is filled with mature plants and has great energy. Music isn't too loud and it was mostly quiet on a Sunday morning. Make an appt. It's polite. Was able to get a Groupon for a mani-pedi at a stellar deal for my best friend and I... def worth looking. The long wear polish I can report back on. The mani and pedi are both looking perfect afterward. Honestly the best professional mani I've had in so long - usually I just feel stressed as I watch someone ruin my healthy natural nails and cuticles but this one was literally perfect. Gentle. No overt clipping, and nails are straight and even. Very impressive. I don't live in San Fran but I will definitely return when I'm in the city.

    A very long overdue review... I purchased a $100 gift card in December 2018 for my mother-in-law as a holiday gift. In February 2019, my mother-in-law shared that she never received it. I just assumed she did and never asked her until it came up in convo. I emailed Jennifer to let her know the gift card hadn't been delivered, to which she responded that a gift card would be personally delivered on that day (my mother-in-law lives a few blocks away). A few weeks to a month later, I find out again that she still hadn't received a gift card. I emailed Jennifer again requesting a refund only to receive no response. So, I'm out $100 and still feeling sour about that horrific customer service experience. I only thought of this place again today as I searched around again this year for a holiday gift and this place came up. Just awful! If I could give this place zero stars I would. I can't speak on their provided services but I can speak on their lack of customer service and total clerical incompetence. I'm sure they won't bother to read this, make things right, or bother to acknowledge that they are willing to take money from people without providing services. However, I can only hope that people read this and learn from my awful experience.

    Came here to get my mani pedi using the Groupon discount and really enjoyed the experience! Was a super quick appointment-making process and I was the only one in the spa by the time I left so I got some nice special treatment. The people here are very professional and let you choose the coat of paint you want and what color- my nails still look great after a week and definitely feel like this place is special - also close to where I live. They have a very nice clean space and it's well kept.

    Gorgeous gel acrylics, one manicure and one pedicure. We were all very happy with the service, they came out cleanly. The people there were really nice and accommodating, and meticulous in their work.

    Great place. Had mani-pedi done in 30 minutes. They were quick, efficient and the work is excellent. Plus, they are very cautious about COVID. The girl doing my nails had double mask AND a face shield on. Felt safe!

In all honesty, she made the experience so much easier and relaxing even despite the pain and discomfort that comes from these waxes specifically. Upon walking in, she instantly greeted me and was super welcoming. I used the bathroom before my wax to calm my nerves and walked into such a pretty and pink glittery bathroom! Not gonna lie, it was a pretty good distraction lol. Like any person would, I was pretty nervous but I decided to go for it because of the results. It was so worth it. It does hurt, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Your first wax always hurts the most because obviously you don't know what to expect, but it does get better after the first strip. I have to say though, what really helped ease my nerves was how chill the whole environment was. The staff makes every client feel welcome, and in my case Erin was super friendly, thorough, and overall such a vibe. It made the entire experience feel a lot less intimidating. They also have complimentary snacks and drinks and initially I passed on them because of how nervous I was, but after my session, best believe I ran to the snack station. As an SF native, I am proud to say that I will be returning to reWAXation as a regular! I am so glad I found this gem. Thank you to Erin and the team for making this experience so much less daunting and a bit more fun!

    I got baited into this place by their Instagram ads for the new client special $30 brazilian all…read moreover my feed. I said, hey why not? Might as well give them a try. I booked on their website and did not pick a specific esthie but just said "anyone." Mostly everything is done online (forms). For the new client special you have to upload a picture of your photo ID into their system. I wasn't too thrilled about this as I don't like the thought of my ID being in their database. Cyber related incidents are on the rise now a days. I had my sensitive info stolen from my old CPA and fraudulent tax returns filed under my SSN before so no type of business is safe. A day before my appointment I got a text from one of their workers basically telling me that I hadn't confirmed my appointment and to do it before EOD otherwise my appointment would be cancelled. The text was sent with a bad tone. Kind of like, "you better do this or else" type of tone. I frequent several establishments that are appointment based and only one other place has told me if I didn't confirm the day before that my appointment would be cancelled but they warned me of this policy ahead of time so I already had a heads up. On the day of the appointment I got another text from someone there reminding me to do my forms before coming in. They really love reminding people through text over here. They also send you a text about 15 mins prior to your appointment to check in and then another text with the door code to let yourself in to the waiting room. They have drinks and snacks there for you while you wait which is a nice touch. Artrecia was my esthie and from the moment she called me back she had a very off putting attitude. I don't know if she was just having a bad day but it for sure seemed like she hated her job. Conversation with her during the service was minimal. I felt like I was doing all the talking and just getting short answers from her. It really was the opposite of what some people said about her personality in other reviews on here. Artrecia waxed me pretty quick which doesn't necessarily mean that she did a good job. I was actually expecting that she did a mid job based on her attitude alone and I wasn't wrong. My boyfriend later on examined my brazilian and pointed out at least 7 patches that Artrecia missed. Some were on the front part so it's crazy how she missed those. She didn't go in with tweezers or do clean up strips afterwards to get the spots she missed. Nevertheless, I still tipped her $10 which I feel like she didn't even deserve for the mid brazilian she did on me. Now I'm wondering if I'll ever come back. One thing is for sure, if I ever do, I won't be going back to Artrecia.
