| July 12, 2026 | This is my first and last time coming here. My normal girl at her salon is on mat leave so I decided to try a new spot that I was told about and had seen so much on IG. You are emailed and texted about your date, time and service. I had completed the necessary forms the day prior. I came here today a few minutes late but called ahead to let them know I would be 5 minutes late for my 1pm appointment. Upon arrival, I checked in at the front and on the screen was told to take a seat. I waited a few minutes before my technician came out with her tools and came to get me and if i needed a drink but there were some drinks at the table while I was waiting so I grabbed a water. At 1:20, I was texting my friend about my experience and how it was just so awful already. I told Saya what shape I wanted, what color I was looking for (green with some shimmer) and the length. When I told Saya this, I felt like she was like really? THATS what you want? Which is funny because she said the color without any shimmer was pretty towards the end of my service. I wasn't given any suggestions or collaboration with me with what I communicated. I also felt like Saya was just hacking away at my nails as she was filing and shaping my nails. This made me feel so uneasy when I knew the cuticles part was coming. I was nicked a few times and I should NOT be cringing and flinching so much during my manicure that I lost count. Also during the process, my hands were sprayed with rubbing alcohol so many times which because of my nicks stung, I was going to lose it if my hands were sprayed with it one more time. Saya did check in with me a few times on the shape and the color but she asked me if I wanted just one coat of color or two which I thought was confusing because she had already done one finger with two coats and then proceeded to ask if I wanted one for the others which I didn't because of the light vs. dark shade. One of my thumbs was bubbly looking and she made it seem like I had caused it when my thumb was in there or my whole hand as instructed so she had to redo it. I noticed that one of my fingers on my left hand wasn't filed enough so she fixed it. I seriously could not wait to end the service and leave the salon, I just said yes everything was fine afterwards. I was just so over it. For a top technician, there was just too many issues to my liking and I was so annoyed. You can see in my photos and videos that the polish isn't an even layer and my right hand OMG! I went home and just decided to file it and try to fix it to make it better. I'm just amazed that this is the work of a top technician. Upon paying and leaving finally, the receptionist asked me how everything was that I was just so baffled that I said it was fine. I was given a gift bag which after my service, made sense there was a filer. I was asked if my technician told me about the $25 extra fee for removal of a work from another salon but I was not communicated that so they did waive it. I was aware of it as I had seen it on the website and told them that but they waived the fee. I wasn't going to argue that! Haha I don't normally do negative reviews, but this seriously has my mind so blown and I'm usually a pretty calm easy going person that this experience has me so riled up! read more

I had my hard gel removed at this salon and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The technician excessively filed my natural nails during the removal process, leaving them extremely thin and sensitive. Four days later, my nails are still painful and uncomfortable when pressure is applied. I had to cut them very short because of the discomfort. I understand that some sensitivity can occur after gel removal, but this level of pain and damage is not something I expected from a professional salon. I am very disappointed with the service and would not return. I trusted the salon to remove the product safely, but the process was far too aggressive. I've heard about this place for a while. My coworkers were raving about getting a Russian manicure and how healthy it is for your nails so I finally decided to jump the gun. I was able to get a same day appointment after 5pm which is ideal cause I work till then! Came in early and was able to wait in the waiting area and was offered drinks from their menu that are complimentary. I booked with Siia, which first of all, she's so sweet and amazing. We immediately got aquinted and she informed me on the process and what I wanted and how to achieve the look I'm looking for. I love how thorough she was and felt seen on all parts. They had a TV playing a show which was nice. Overall the process was nice to see as a first timer with a Russian manicure! Siia also got exactly what I was looking for. I've been here 5(?) times now I think. I've always seen a middle tier nail tech. Started at $100 for a Russian hard gel manicure (dry manicure). Recently went up to $110. I think it's worth the price. I try to go every 5, sometimes push it to 6, weeks. Everyone pays so much attention to detail. The cuticle work is great, the painting also great. The nail techs are pretty quiet because they're very focused on your nails. I only had an issue my very first time here with a nail chipping, but they have a 1 week free fix if something happens. I got my nail fixed a few days after the week passed because I was on vacation when it happened, and they fixed it when I got back into town. I haven't had issues after that so was probably a weird fluke. My nails last 5 weeks, and if I didn't have nail growth showing, I could go longer between appointments. I always get compliments on my nails because they're always so perfectly polished and clean. The shop is very clean. I think they have 3-4 chairs for pedicures and 9 stations for manicures. They also do lashes and brows here, but I can't review that because I've never had mine done here. read more

I am genuinely blown away by this spot and I have absolutely converted to being a russian manicure enthusiast. I do not anticipate doing a "regular manicure" ever again. I opt for the Top Nail Tech Russian Hard Gel manicure and it looks so crisp and clean each time. Everyone's nail anatomy is different, but I can definitely go up to a month and there's no nail polish lifting whatsoever, it's simply grown out. I have seen Aya twice and she is so sweet and very gentle with my nails and cuticles. They do allow tipping on card which is great, the service here is top notch! I love how they offer drinks while you're waiting (or during the service) and they are very respectful of your appointment time. The first time I went, I had to pay for a nail polish removal from another salon ($25) but if you are a returning Look At Me customer, they do not charge you for the removal of your last manicure, which I greatly appreciate. The second time I went, I did have a broken nail to be fixed ($10) so my total last time with tip was $180. I can't wait to be back! I will not be going back to have them fix it nor ever again. They are so lazy and unprofessional. I have been doing my own nails for years, so I knew when they added French on top of my top coat then cured another layer of top coat it would chip so easy. These people take advantage of customers who they assume know nothing about nails. Not the worst experience ever but worst "luxury" experience for sure. read more

I came by to get a dry Russian gel pedicure. The salon is very cute and clean. I enjoyed the ambiance and the staff was polite, very professional, and easy to book with. My review is really based on the quality to pricing. This is not the best pedicure I've had and the shape didn't come out so nice. I was expecting my pedicure to be nicer than a normal gel pedicure but it wasn't. At $120 for a pedicure there should be a difference and there wasn't. I've gotten better pedicures for 1/2 or even 1/4 of the price. I won't be getting a Russian pedicure again but maybe a manicure next time. read more

I had the most lovely experience this past weekend, getting a Russian manicure. First off the salon is so beautiful. I love all the interior decor. It has high ceilings, and just such a large space for a salon, which is unusual. I was offered a choice of coffee, tea or champagne when I walked in. I opted for the coffee, which was brought out with a few chocolates. My nail tech did such a great job with my nails. She was very efficient. The last time I did a Russian manicure it took almost 3 hours. She was able to do my nails in under two hours. You can tell she was very experienced and detail oriented. Overall, I had a lovely experience. However, I did ask to do a French manicure and unfortunately, she said she didn't have time to do it and I should have to mention that when calling for an appointment because it takes longer. It's just something to note if you want to do French, or something other than a usual color. It might be good to mention that when booking your appointment! read more

Truly recommend their model program! For a discounted price, you get paired with a junior tech in training and it takes a little bit longer than your usual nail appt. She's been promoted and now is a top tech and the cost for the same manicure I've been getting increased $30. no change in the service to me. same manicure, same tech , $30 more. So essentially , clients pay for employees promotions? This is a poor business model and I'm dissapointed in the company. I'll start by saying that I've been to Look At Me twice before and absolutely loved the results, which is why I drove 90 minutes to visit this salon again. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was disappointing. I booked with Alla, a top nail tech, for a pedicure and brought a reference photo of the color I wanted. I asked for help shade matching, and the color she selected looked noticeably darker than the reference photo. Because of the language barrier, the receptionist helped translate and explained that the chrome finish would make the color appear one shade lighter. However, once the chrome was applied, the color remained essentially the same. At that point, I simply expressed that the color was not what I had wanted and asked if it could be adjusted. Another nail tech came over to help translate and explained that the shade was not actually a match to my reference photo and that chrome changes the finish, not the color. This directly contradicted what I had been told earlier, which left me confused and frustrated. What disappointed me most was not the color mismatch itself, but the way the situation was handled. I never blamed anyone or accused Alla of making a mistake--I only wanted help getting closer to the color I had originally requested. During the conversation, Alla repeatedly rolled her eyes, which made me feel uncomfortable speaking up. For a service that cost $150 and was booked with a top nail tech, I expected better communication, professionalism, and a genuine effort to help resolve the issue. A minor adjustment was made to the color, but it felt rushed and still wasn't particularly close to my reference photo. I left disappointed, especially because my previous experiences at this salon had been so positive. Because of this, I will be looking for a new salon and no longer recommending this place to friends. read more
