I had only ever brought one other thing in years ago and I don't recall being treated so badly. The two items didn't fit into their plastic bins (in the little serve yourself area), so I asked Becca at the counter how she wanted me to handle it. She was nasty and truly rude to me. She snapped at me like an grouchy old dog. I took my stuff and went to another bigger, nicer consignment store less than 10 minutes away on McKenzie St. The people there were much kinder (and friendlier, and patient). Pretty sure this place only stays in business because the location is central to PGI and convenient. Also, some folks are willing to put up with Becca's distainful treatment just to get rid of things. It'll catch up eventually though. Look at the recent reviews... someone is not happy in her business anymore and it shows.

When selling a consignment piece, the person understands that the buyer is looking for a low price for good quality. This is the only place I shop when I want something. A shopper can tell the owner what they are looking for and she will let them know when something they may be interested in comes into her store. She gets new items almost every day. If someone is moving, she assesses the furniture and will take in the entire home's furnishings to be consigned, if it meets her high standards. This shop also carry's new items. But their prices for clothing had gotten a little asinine (Chicos is not designer, boo) and the staff isn't the most welcoming. I dig the full a bag for $7 option but they won't give you the bag. You have to bring your clothes up, they pack it. I like to think I'm somewhat of an efficient packer and can roll items into little rolls but they want to pack it which in then, reduces how much you can fill the bag with. They keep adding stipulations to what is and what is not included also which is a joke. I'm sad that this place has gone downhill. Especially since I had approximately 10 bags of clothes to donate and the attitude of the staff drove me to go to Salvation Army to donate instead.

I literally had to argue to have them write my donations on the tax write off sheet, as she scribbled over the entire sheet to not allow for the accurate donations given, and she crossed off the value spaces. That felt so horrible donating to them. I never donate to Goodwill as a policy, but I will go there before I return here. She literally scoffed and insulted my donations! Just a gross gross feeling.
