At no point did anyone from the camp contact us to let us know she had been injured. We only found out when we picked her up, and the only response we received was, "Sorry." As a parent, being notified immediately when your child is injured should be the bare minimum. Despite that, we decided to give the camp a second chance and sent her back the following day. Unfortunately, things got even worse. She was not given lunch because the staff told her she didn't have enough money on her account--even though we had already prepaid for the entire week's lunches and snacks. There is no excuse for denying a child a meal because of an administrative mistake, especially when everything had already been paid for in advance. The lack of communication, organization, and accountability is extremely concerning. It felt like the camp was being run by inexperienced teenagers with very little supervision or training. Parents trust summer camps to keep their children safe, informed, and cared for. Based on our experience, this camp failed on all three. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend it to other families.

I'm glad it wasn't too buggy. We didn't see alligators. Canoers, kayakers & boarders on the water said they saw gator(s), but we never did. So, I don't recommend renting bikes if you want to see gators. Many people visit the area and bring their own kayaks & body boards. Don't dress to impress. This is a true nature experience. 4 stars cuz bikes can be dirty, one lady had her chain fall off & we helped her & my husband's handlebars loosened up & had to start walking his bike. I guess the only way to get help on the trail is to call their rental center, so don't leave the area without asking how they can help & meet up in case your bike is not rideable. I rode back & had a worker take him a new bike, but I had to show him where he was. It was a nature experience! There is a waiver to sign before you rent. Maybe their fine print gives information about how to deal with problems on the trail? I didn't read it thoroughly, I thought it focused more on the late fee.

Jewell Cove Natural Area is located across the street from the Lake Worth Municipal Park. It is…read morejust South of the Lake Ave. Bridge along Ocean Ave. on the east side of the Lake Worth Lagoon. This natural area is a maritime hammock which is a natural band of forest that grows on the stabilized back dunes of barrier islands. This natural area is 11.4 acres with 1,200 feet of shoreline on the Lake Worth Lagoon. In February 1967 this land was leased for 99 years to the Milton Steinhardt family. In 2012, Judge Raphael Steinhardt, grandson of Milton Steinhardt relinquished the lease so that the land could be donated to the City of Lake Worth to be enjoyed by the public. This parcel has now been turned into a nature preserve, nine acres of which are submerged so that mangroves and sea grasses can grow. A maritime hammock community makes up another 2 and 1/2 acres. In 2015 and 2016 volunteers removed exotic plants. Fifteen truckloads were removed along with concrete material that had been dumped to prevent erosion. Three thousands tons of limestone were then installed to create a breakwater that prevents erosion and creates a habitat for oysters which filter the water. Clean sand was added and sea grass and mangroves were planted. The mangroves also filter out pollutants and acts as a marine life nursery. The marsh grass breaks up wave energy and provides a wildlife habitat. The Jewell Cove Natural Area serves as a refuge to the animals of the Lake Worth lagoon. This includes osprey, tricolored heron. snowy egret, little blue heron, and white ibis. Plants found here include coralbean, cabbage palm, sea grape, strangler fig, sand cordgrass, green buttonwood, and mangroves. There is a hiking trail through the preserve and you can launch a kayak on the Lake Worth Lagoon but the main benefit of this preserve is to improve the health of the Lake Worth Lagoon ecosystem. In 2019, the commission voted to put on the ballot a 99-year lease on Jewel Cove's 11.4 acres submerged along the Intracoastal and to keep the land on the southeast side of the bridge a natural area. This ensures that the area stays a natural living shoreline, protected by Palm Beach County. The county will not be able to build on the land and it will be maintained as a sanctuary.

The party host will help you set up your party decorations like table cloth, plates and napkins and even helped us build the goodie bags for each kid. The kids has two hours of dedicated jump and obstacle time and 30 minutes prior to the two hour mark they will call all the kids and assist with cutting the cake and clean up for the next party while the kids continue to jump at the park. They also provide Ninja Kids tables, plates and utensils as well as grip socks for all kids in the party that register and sign the waivers. Truly an amazing experience for kids of all ages! Highly recommend for kids of all ages! There's also plenty of benches and couches around the perimeter to sit and watch your children.
