The previous one I stayed in So Cal was just OK w/room for improvements needed. This Clackamus location in the Portland suburbs was quite better. Free parking is great! We were warmly welcomed by the front desk. Free was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was distant enough for local fireworks sounds to be a non-issue. I enjoyed using the gym in the morning. It's super clean with disinfectant wipes, towels, and water refill station. There were plenty of weights, machines, exercise mat and equipment. It's very convenient to have an onsite restaurant available with Starbucks coffee and tea for purchase. Our basic breakfasts of eggs, bacon, and potatoes hit the spot. My Starbucks decaf white chocolate w/almond milk base was yum. Hubby liked the OJ. Safe, clean, comfy stay, and good front desk. 4 stars.

I am "Titanium Elite" with Marriott and usually when I check in they thank me, give me free bottled water, and offer me points or something of my choice from the market. Often times in addition they will offer me meal vouchers. I got none of that treatment at this location. They also did not upgrade my room despite the hotel not being full. The hotel internet was also slow and TOO SLOW for internet TV to work. I tried watching Netflix and Showtime on demand and they just clocked and would. It work when I tried to watch a show. Every little detail was considered by the Aerie staff, and handled professionally. Looking back, it saved us quite a bit of money and effort! Most importantly, Saundra helped throughout the planning process, referred vendors, helped us contact them, and coached us through many of the decision making that was needed to create a perfect day! On the day of, she was there to manage deliveries, the timeline, and make sure it all went on without a hitch. Without her, I have no idea how we would have made this day possible! On the day of, we felt completely relaxed and pampered! Our Catering Captain, Kirk, was there at every turn, making sure we were satisfied and had everything we needed. The food was fantastic, and our guests kept telling us how much fun they had. A month later I still can't believe how happy we feel with the quality of service we received from the Aerie.

They wouldn't even let us have a glass of nice whiskey to toast (in the bridal sweet) because it was "outside alcohol". From the moment you walk in, the warm, intimate atmosphere wraps around you like a hug it's the perfect blend of laid-back comfort and live jazz sophistication. The food and drinks are phenomenal everything is made fresh to order with real care and creativity. The house-made chicken strips and signature sauces are a standout, and their menu from hearty salads and pastas to prime steaks, gumbo, jambalaya, and more hits every craving just right. Pair it with one of their expertly crafted cocktails or a glass of wine for a meal that's serious comfort with culinary flair. The happy hour here is a total steal with specials on drinks and bites that make it perfect for an early night out or a relaxed stop before dinner. But the real magic? The live jazz music. Night after night, talented musicians fill the space with world-class sounds in a setting that feels personal and soulful like you've stepped into a private jazz club rather than a restaurant. Jim, the owner, is the embodiment of hospitality -- welcoming guests as if they're coming into his own home, with deep knowledge of jazz and real passion for sharing great music and food. Whether you're in the mood for happy hour, a quick bite, a full dinner, or a night of wine and live jazz, this place delivers on every level. It's cozy, inviting, delicious, and one of the best jazz experiences around and only about a 10-minute drive from West Linn.

Conway has an inviting and stylish atmosphere. You will likely be greeted by one of the Conways, who show pride in what they have curated, and who welcome you in like an old friend, even if you've just met. The service is spectacular (thank you Rodrigo), and they somehow manage to meet your dining needs without taking away from the sultry or swinging Jazz performers. The real star of the show in my opinion is the food. Everything is made fresh by their chef(s). I had the most delicious meatloaf i have ever had. Ask for the chef's recipe bbq sauce. You're welcome. My partner had the jambalaya that is full of flavor. The heat sneaks up on you, so make sure you eat it with the moist and delicious cornbread. If you are feeling adventurous, try the Hurricane to drink, or choose from one of their many varieties of wine. If you enjoy live Jazz and delicious food, put this establishment on the top of your list. Note: if you sit in the "music seating" area, there is a $9 charge per person.

It's fun, social, affordable, and a fantastic way to move your body, no experience necessary. Our instructors, Grant and Madalin, are the real stars of the show. They're warm, energetic, and welcoming to everyone whether you're a total beginner or brushing up your moves. They bring the perfect mix of technical precision and encouragement, making each class feel empowering and enjoyable. First class is FREE, seriously, there's no catch. Just show up, give it a try, and see if you fall in love like we did. No partner? No problem. Just bring yourself (and maybe your dancing shoes though not required). Group and private lessons are available, and the rates are incredibly reasonable. Whether you're curious about ballroom, Latin, or something in between, there's a class that'll get your body moving. You'll warm up quickly once you're dancing anyway. - Not all ceiling fans are operational yet. - Each restroom stall could use its own trash can. - Free street parking is plentiful, which makes coming here even easier. P.Y. Toilet seat covers provided in the women's restroom, small detail, but appreciated. This place is a total gem: uplifting, energizing, and welcoming. Come for the free class, stay for the rhythm, the community, and the joy of learning something new. So... what's your excuse?
