Horrible service. Food is not great but then again it's bar food. It's very dark inside. Definitely a gross dive bar.

I enjoyed my appetizers. Got the fried cheese curds and beef taquitos. The 3 taquitos were crispy and covered with cheese which I'm not a fan of. The salsa served with it was s little watery but okay. Paid extra for the guac but it was really tasty. Must have with the dish. The meat was too mild on flavor but with the guacamole, it was good. The cheese curds were superb! Crispy, good portion and served with a small side of ranch. The ambiance inside the location was clean and had a good layout for a bar/pub with lots of TVs for sports. Bar was fully stocked and seemed to run smoothly. I'd check it out again and try other items. read more

Ok, I failed miserably with no photos. We were so enjoying our experience that I squirreled. Sorry! Next time! And I'm confused. 3 stars? Really? While searching for someplace with the holy grail of tots and chicken fingers to celebrate the last day of my love's birthday month, FunUGys came in the radar. So over we go! We were greeted by the hostess/bartender, who was awesome! We decided to sit on the patio because Colorado... Even though it was to rain soon. We didn't have a clue what to drink so we were left to decide. The incredible Devon appeared to take our orders and we apparently have similar taste because everything was spot on! A little more about the atmosphere... It is pretty spacious, more so than it appears outside. The patio is huge as well! There are a variety of games such as pool, darts and a couple other arcade games. The music wasn't too loud and there is a jukebox in case you want to play your choice of tunes. The drink menu was broad and the bar was stocked. If I had anything negative to say, it was the lack of craft beer selections. With a couple exceptions, it was a lot of run of the mill domestics. But I was able to have a delicious sour and Devon gave me a taster of a beer I'll get in the future. They have really good daily specials. I was tempted by the $6 burger with fries or tots but I was feeling wings, which Devon recommended. I was able to choose 2 sauces so I went for buffalo and Devon's recommendation of Boulder Gold. OMG. I could drink that! The buffalo was fantastic too but the next time I'll probably get the Boulder Gold again. Spicy, sweet and tangy goodness! I figured, why not? and got the onion rings as well. I can't remember the last time I had rings that good. Not greasy, perfect texture and the coating was delicious! My Birthday girl's tenders were to die for. The coating was impeccably seasoned and it was a good sized portion. We were both able at bring home leftovers so we could enjoy again tomorrow. This is a wonderful neighborhood spot and we definitely see ourselves hanging here often. And I sincerely want to thank the owner for offering veterans a 20% discount on certain days. I wish more businesses would acknowledge serving our country so thank you again. read more

I mistakenly brought my husband and 2 kids here tonight for wings and a quick dinner. The place was filthy at 6 on a Sunday night. Trash/menus on the floor. Smelled like a mix of sewage and pinesol. The service was fine, but the odor was so disgusting and the food was incredibly salty and almost in-edible. We are blacklisting this restaurant. Disgusting. read more

*LOVE* the new space. The old space was dark, worn and well...old. The new space is fun, hop, open and clean. I love the patio and our favorite spot in at the bar top on the patio. The food isn't your average bar food. The menu is pretty varied, the ingredients are fresh and I love that not everything is fried. The bar environment and wait staff are great. I have no complaints in that department. Friendly and clean. My complain comes from the food. The burger we received looked like it has been sitting a while as the bun was soggy and it was glistening with grease. Biting into it it was near rare. Couldn't finish it. The fries and pita chicken sandwich were also highly underwhelming. The pita was...passable. The fries were overdone and way too greasy. Every single item we ordered had the same flavor profile...re used oil for frying. Everything was glistening but not crispy. It tasted like old oil. They are still open with outdoor seating during COVID. I was in a pool league that was sponsored by FuNuGyz. It's a decent place. A real bar, bar. Wing night is awesome and the burgers are good. The service varies depending on the server. Our pool league sent alot of business their way with minimal appreciation from the ownership. We've since moved our pool leagues somewhere else. Having mentioning that, I support small local businesses so if you're in the area, like a true bar setting, enjoy wings and burgers this place is totally worth a visit. read more

My parents patron this bar at least once a week so my sister and I decided to try it since we just moved to Parker and love to support small businesses it's our thing. went without our parents maybe a mistake. My sister requires a service dog for a neurological condition. Her disability isn't one you can see but people with common sense know that not all disabilities can be seen. When we walked in and a man approached us in seconds and said " yeah guys I can't have you in here" we were taken a back and asked why. "The dog" he snapped. We informed him she's a service dog and even showed him her service dog ID tags. Rather than apologize he rolled his eyes flung the id back at my sister and said "okay sure" This was beyond weird! To me that's like telling someone in a wheel chair that you're sure they can walk. Did this place skip their ADA classes? Are they so out of the loop they think all service dogs are golden retrievers helping people with mobility? I understand people fake service dogs but that's not our problem. They assumed wrong and treated an honest person like a liar which was gross, weird, and most importantly discrimination. Maybe they should consider making the place dog friendly. Dogs add a nice touch of charm to the gritty, dive bar the place has going. It would protect them from future instances of treating disabled people poorly, after all their lives are hard enough. I know my sisters certainly is. She should be able to eat middle of the road chicken wings without a side of discrimination. A few tips to the bar if you don't wanna lean into the dive bar vibe. Invest in a few martini glasses serving people martinis in the bottom 1/8 of a spotty water glass is weird and low budget. Maybe buy some Jetdry to aid with the water spots. And wipe menus down with a non mildewed rag. But mostly just hold the discrimination after all the ADA is just a phone call away. read more

I was looking forward to trying this place. My sister and I just bought a condo in Parker and my parents love the place. We walked in on a Friday, late afternoon. I require a service dog and she was with me, well behaved, healed at my feet and sat on the floor under the table where we had seated ourselves. A man came to our table and told us to leave with our dog! He never asked if she was a service animal he just straight out loudly, arrogantly, and rudely told me to leave!!! I was stunned, told him she was my service animal and is allowed in any public space per Federal law. I showed her credentials (not required to carry btw) he threw them back at me and snorted "Yeah sure!" He then pulled our waitress to the side when she was approaching our booth and pointed at us with his fingers while glaring directly at me. She was friendly enough but did tell me " if you're gonna say it's a service dog then there's nothing we can do." That is calling me a liar with a veil over it. I won't be back I left feeling embarrassed and like I was treated differently than anyone else simply because I require an accommodation for a disability. I take this dog to my job, Dr. offices, and to upscale restaurants with dress codes and have never been treated like this. HARD PASS for me but hey if you're not struggling with anything like this I'm sure they'd be happy to have you. read more

I have been to Funyguyz many times with friends. Several food items are great. However, I recommend steering clear of their tacos and beef nachos for now. Their cooks do not drain their ground beef. The bottom of the taco basket is oozing with grease and that makes tacos fall apart. The Nachos platter is so infused with grease that you cannot finish the bottom of the dish as its nothing but covered in grease. The salads, wings, burgers, burritos and other sandwiches are great! The house fries are too oily and not crisp. The house made tortilla chips (for nachos or just a basket) do not always come out crispy and their potato chips are below average (oily and sometimes limp). The Drinks are poured well and staff is friendly. *Hint to Cook.* Please drain the ground beef to better your food offerings for customers. Funuguyz was forced to add security now per the new alcohol license. Most likely due to forward thinking by the county as more from outside the area are finding Parker a new place to go. read more

Don't let the outside ghetto theme scare you. Once inside the fungus dive bar, you can find many tables with shuffle board, pool tables, darts, and arcade games. Lots of drink specials everyday. They also do fundraisers supporting local organizations. I keep coming back for the dressed (breaded) Chicken Wings. Large portions and fairly priced. Holy crap, can you say fight night? A girls night out was planned at Funugyz, however we didn't realize it was UFC fight night at the place and OMG! I have never seen the place so packed. Every inch of the place had people standing staring at their zillions of sets. They blasted the fight through all the speakers. It was so loud and packed it wasn't fun. The service was decent for such a busy night, but definitely check to see if there is a pay per view event there if you are looking for a semi-sane bar with a little dance floor. It was just too crazy to stay, so we moved on! read more

This is a neighborhood bar tucked away in a shopping center and if not for its interesting name would be unassuming. It is what you expect from a local place with regulars at the bar, dates happening at the tables, and loud sports enthusiasts yelling at the multiple TV screens situated around the space. The service isn't exceptional but you won't go thirsty or hungry, the food is basic but will hit the spot for bar food and the prices are reasonable. There was once a time when both the service and food were great at FuNuGyz but not anymore and not for a long time. The service is slow because they're under staffed. The last couple of times I went to FuNuGyz (May and July 2022), the servers just walked past my table without so much as a glance. Couldn't get a menu or a drink, on both occasions my wife and I just left and drove a little farther to The Tailgate Tavern. My senior friends were having lunch at Funuguyz earlier this week. There were 10 seniors in our group. We have been going to lunch on Thursdays at Funuguyz for half price salads for the last two years. As we were seated lady approached us, and sat down at our table. She introduced herself as the manager.. She said that our group had been rude to the wait staff. We have been coming to lunch here for two years after our exercise class across the street. The new manager is a jerk and very disrespectful. The previous managers have always been good to us and we tip the weight staff over 30% on our bill. We don't even know who this new manager is. This is unacceptable. We will not be back. Our group is between 55 to 87 in age. This is age discrimination, along with poor business practices. read more

I have been to your restaurant two times and have really enjoyed the salad offering four 1/2 price on Thursday's. I have come in with friends that work out together at Life Time Fitness and then gather to socialize at you restaurant! Your salads are incredible and while I know they must take time to prepare it is a pretty standard order from our group. There is a group that has been loyal customers for several years and I was delighted to join them. Yesterday was not indicative of the service we have had in the past. The group was approached by the new manager who informed them : 1. They could not just order a salad for half price. They also had to purchase a beverage in order to get the salad for half price. (No where is this stated on the menu or has been stated previously. It is requirement on other days) 2. The group was told they were "rude" to the waitstaff. I am not sure what this referred to but the two times I have been there I saw no evidence of rudeness. In fact there are times when all the salads do not come out at the same time, causing some of us to wait 15-30 minutes for all to be served. 3. The group was told that ordering a salad to go was not acceptable. I did notice the menu states dine in only for the special price, but no one had ever said anything before. I will let the group know this. 4. Most of us are in our 70's and above and socialization is important to us. Most of us are locals. We don't stay much past 12:30 or 1pm. Drinking water is always our best choice as we work out and need to replenish within 60 minutes of working out. In the past a pitcher of water and glasses were placed on the table so as not to inconvenience the wait staff. I am hoping that we will continue to be welcomed and served your delicious food and that this was a misunderstanding by the group about what the manager said! We decided to eat at a place close to our condo and decided to eat here. We walked in and the it was open sitting which was great, but the service was horrible. Our waiter, had no personality, knowledge of beers, or types of alcohol that was available. That set the mood for the rest of the night. Pros: - great food selection for a decent sized bar. Nachos and fries with chicken were great. - 1 mile from our condo. Cons: - The waiter was not knowledgeable - did not bring our food out on time - felt discriminated against, when we saw him interact with other customers. I will not recommend this place or bring any of my friends and family again to this establishment. read more

Usually we enjoy coming here for $5 dollar bloody Mary's and watching the game but todays experience has definitely put us off another Sunday visit. The TV's were turned up so loud we couldn't hear the person sitting across from us. Because I live so close to the restaurant I attend quite often. There are so many fun activities on different days of the week. Wednesdays there are bingo night which is very fun. although the service can be a bit iffy sometimes, there are a couple waitresses that are absolutely amazing. Service is usually pretty good as long as it is not a Friday or Saturday night. The food is pretty good for being a bar. The burgers are very good and always cooked well. every once in a while the kitchen staff will mess up the order, but the server is usually very polite and willing to change it for you. all in all Fu Nu Gyz is a pretty good place to go for a date night or to watch a sports game. Definitely not a place for a family dinner though. Be prepared to wait for a little while for food. read more

Pretty great neighborhood bar! It doesn't get overcrowded, you're going to be able to find a seat, be it at the bar, the high-tops or the booths. Something for everyone. They have about 18 very large TVs and there's usually karaoke going on or a DJ so there's always something interesting to listen to. The bartenders are friendly, the beer selection is great and the food is definitely hands and above the best bar food you'll get in Parker. The wings are huge and come by the pound and their burgers are awesome. Karaoke is common, as is a DJ, and there's some pool, darts and a really chill outside patio space with a fireplace and seating that also hosts some pretty serious cornhole tournaments . Yep, this place is a bit of a dump. It is basically a blue collar sports bar where most of the Televisions have yet to come into the high definition age. The patrons are a mixed bag, but decent enough folk. The waitresses work hard, but can be stretched thin at times. Funugyz would be just "okay" if not for one thing. They have the best damn chicken wings around. Although not as cheap as they once were (the price has increased from $.30 per wing to $.79 per wing in the last 4 years) they are still huge, meaty, crunchy, and cooked to perfection. The selection of sauces is excellent and tasty. The ranch and blue cheese accompanying the celery and carrots are pretty watery. Sadly, they no longer serve the wings in a double dog bowl. Funugyz also does a decent burger and solid Mexican. The place is non-smoking, but be prepared to run the smoke gauntlet from the parking lot until well within the supposed 15 foot entrance buffer zone. Warning, the Parker Police camp outside Funugyz on the weekends and will pull over ANYONE deviating from standard driving patterns, burned out license plate lights, etc. read more

I am a biased yelper here due to a staff I know pretty well and the spot being very close to my home. The food is good, the new spot is clean and open, and I enjoy the bartenders who are friendly and a little crazy at times! This is also a great spot for family lunch or early dinner, they have a menu suited for many tastes and welcome kids. Their wings are solid, a little pricey but pretty meaty and I respect the fact they have a ton of flavors (and wing styles) to choose from. Beer selection in the new place blows away the other joint, nice to see some rotating taps while keeping a solid base. They also carry some good canned beers for the hipster in you, throw down a miller high life if you get a chance. Only thing that is a bit unnerving are their liquor prices. Ever since they move, they've jacked up shot prices. I understand...gotta pay for the new place but man, easy to ring up a $100 bar tab quickly if you're there to drink with a couple friends for an afternoon (do I drink too much...nah!) Hillary is one of my favorites, Steph is great too. Stop in, say hi....one of the few bars in Parker with some talent. read more

My experience at funugyz was amazing! I cannot explain how much it means to us how great our experience was. Shannon was our server and her bubbly attitude is just what we needed after a hard day at work. Her attentiveness does not go unnoticed. We later bought drinks from the bar after we closed out with Shannon. Chris was our bartender and went above and beyond to give us suggestions. This means so much to us!!
