Kids chicken tenders were tough. Fries were good. Garlic bread wasn't anything special. Pasta was a little overcooked, and the sauces were very creamy, but boring. The kicker pizza was decent. The funguy pizza was disappointing. Something just didn't come together on the flavor. The pizza dough was fine. Cuts on the pizza slices were not great, which was annoying. After reading some positive reviews - I was really hoping I would love it here - but am disappointed with the service. I arrived on Thursday at 450pm - I had looked up the happy hour menu in advance and was hoping to order items from there - I wasn't given a Happy hour menu when I was seated - so when the waitress came back, I asked for it specifically at around 4:55pm, she walked to her manager to ask and immediately came back and said no (it definitely wasn't even 5pm yet) --Wish the website would update that they stop happy hour at 4:50pm instead of 5pm because this was really disappointing. We've usually gotten only gotten to go orders from here and after the service experience here, I will most likely never dine in. Normally we'd order and pick up after 6 but I was coming home from the airport and we decided to pick up dinner here since it was on the way home so we called them, the person said to hold for a minute and then we sat there for 3 mins and she never came back. We hung up and called again and they were ready to take our order immediately but she did say hold on every other sentence so we assumed she was new which was fine. They told us it would be about 30 mins before it was ready. We get to the place and its just before 30 mins after the call so we expected to wait a bit for our order. There's a guy at the host station and we tell him we have a to go order and he says he'll check on that for us but then proceeds to stand there for a couple of minutes before he starts walking around the restaurant looking lost but never to the kitchen. He comes back almost 10 mins later saying they're still working on it. Very weird but he looks young so this might be his first job. While we were waiting the people at the host station looked so Iost and confused. They did get pretty busy but we weren't starving so we were fine with waiting for our order and people watching. We did see the same guy host clean a table nearby but he only used a rag and no spray and then when he dropped the rag on the floor after he was done wiping the table, he picked it up to wipe down the booth which concerns me that he used a rag that he dropped. Who knows where that rag was before he cleaned the table or if he used that same one for another table. At this point its been an hour basically and our order is finally ready and thankfully a manager was there to check us out and she did it so swiftly and quickly so we appreciated that. We get home 15 mins later and the pizza tasted burnt and I looked at the bottom and the middle was slightly burnt on the entire pizza but we're not gonna waste a $22 pizza. The fingerlings were decent but some of them tasted like dirt not gonna lie. My only guess was they weren't washed properly. The dip that came with it was the best part but it was a good amount of food for $10. The tomato gnocchi was pretty good but we didn't expect it to be spicy since there was no indication of any spice. This came with a side of garlic bread that was definitely cooked too long and was hard. For $17 its kind of a small portion in my opinion. The quality of the food was definitely not what we were used to from the past times we've gone here so I'm really debating if it's worth going back. read more

The new Parker location is a great addition to the area and already feels like a neighborhood staple. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, perfect for date night or a casual dinner with friends. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Pesto Rigatoni, and the Bucatini Sausage Mushroom Fusilli ~ and every dish delivered big flavor. The Chicken Parm was classic comfort done right, while the pesto rigatoni balanced creamy richness with bright fire-roasted tomatoes. The standout was easily the sausage mushroom fusilli with truffle alfredo ~ earthy, indulgent, and incredibly satisfying. Drinks were equally solid: Aperol Spritzes paired perfectly with dinner, and the Platt Park Madagascar Dream Nitro Cream Ale (6.7%) was smooth, creamy, and dangerously easy to drink. Hopefully the add local Parker Brewery beers on tap one day there are great Breweries near by like Lone Tree Brewing, Downhill Brewing, and Bent Barley Brewing Co. [Hint,Hint ] Service was phenomenal ~ attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout the meal. My only critique: dessert options felt a little basic (cookie, brownie, cannoli). They were fine, but I'd love to see something more creative to match the quality of the food, especially since Colorado diners appreciate a strong dessert finish. Service was great! Cheyenne was very attentive and pleasant. Being able to join the waitlist online is key to avoid waiting long. This place is always packed for dinner as it's one of the few good options in Parker that's not fast food or a chain and it's very family friendly! The Weekend Warrior is one of my favorite pizzas but you can't go wrong with the wings either. The Brussels app is also good. I'm not a huge fan of the pasta but I've only had the bolognese. You can ask for dough for littles to keep them busy while waiting for your food. I definitely recommend for those living in SE Aurora/Parker with kids. It's a great place to eat and when the weather is nice there is a fire pit outside and faux cattle the kids can rope! read more

Went in Sunday night after Broncos win. It was a bit crowded & loud in the restaurant... with tvs, music and full tables. As excepted on Sunday nights . Nickey was our server and he was great! Second time in & I must say excellent service! From beginning we walked in no wait, and Nickey was great! our food actually hot the spot - we unusually did not order pizza as we had it the night before. Kids had kids pasta which they loved. My husband ordered the burger & he gave it a 4 star which is not common for him as he is very picky. I ordered the Gluten free bolognese baked dish & it was excellent. Very nice and beautiful restaurant. Plentiful space and comfortable seating. Waitress was nice and attentive. The food was really good too. Over all a really great experience. The one thing that drove me crazy was the TV. I was trying to watch the game but the TV only displayed 3/4 of the screen. It was a nagging feeling. I wanted to grab the remote and fix it badly. Homegrown T&D did a great job turning what was the absolutely terribly run Brickhouse into one of the best food options in Parker. This isn't the best pizza you've ever had, but it's good, and there are actually healthier options, which is nearly unheard of in Parker. Inside, it's nicer than you'd expect and larger than the Denver location. It feels comfortable, and it's a place that works to bring kids and your in-laws when you want to take them to a place that's decent without breaking the bank or trying too hard. This Homegrown location fits perfectly in that "just nice enough" category, and there are plenty of things to like. They have a kids menu, which is great because many of the pizzas lean more adult friendly. They've been dialing in the service over time, and food is coming out much quicker than it was at opening. Our server was so nice and attentive, and additionally two other staff members asked how everything was as they walked by our table. The crust has a nice chewy texture and amount of toppings were just right. Though we didn't have drinks, they have a great selection of beers - many are from local breweries. We used to live by the original location in wash park and were huge fans. So naturally when we found out there was a location opening in parker we were stoked. Came in for lunch and were not disappointed. This location has a super cool lodge vibe. Its even got a gondola you can eat in. All 4 of us got the weekday lunch deal salad and personal zaaa for like $14. Portions were perfect. Our waiter was also great. We didn't visit the bar but it looked pretty cool. Especially loved the bathroom art. Only reason I'm dinging a star is that the heat in the restaurant was down so the place was very cold. We only noticed after we sat down and had ordered and so we were pot committed. We survived though and it was worth it once the beers arrived. read more

First visit, early Wednesday evening. We were seated in the bar, which I didn't prefer as it got very noisy and the huge TVs were distracting. Who knew there are women professional corn hole players?? We liked the food - our appetizer was crispy potato wedges with a garlic dipping sauce. We shared a pizza, the Pig and Pear, which was very good. We brought 4 slices home. My iced tea with lime was so prettily presented I had to take a photo. We also shared a delicious dessert - skilled chocolate chip cookie a la mode with hot fudge sauce. It was terrific, although not particularly imaginative. Prices are quite high for what you get. Our server was friendly, but a little spacey...he forgot my friend's cocktail and also forgot we'd ordered an app. I think I'd like this place best for drinks and apps. Hopefully next time it won't be so windy, so we can enjoy the attractive and inviting patio. read more

Homegrown Tap & Dough used to be one of our favorite restaurants, and during my pregnancy it has been my biggest craving, which makes this even more disappointing. We recently placed a DoorDash order, and the entire order was wrong. When I called, I was told to place the order again so we could receive the correct food, and I was assured I would be reimbursed for both DoorDash orders. Unfortunately, that never happened. I followed up with the manager, who promised she would speak with upper management and get back to me that same day. I never heard back, and I'm still out about $150 that I was promised would be reimbursed. It's really disappointing because we've always loved this restaurant. Mistakes happen, but not following through on promised resolutions is what led me to leave this review. read more

Since I already had lunch before coming here, decided to order something light and ended up on ordering chicken parmigiana sliders. My date got the lunch combo of salad and pizza. They had 3 different options for burgers too. I can wait to try them on my next visit. The chicken parmigiana sliders were still hot and served on buttery rolls with marinara dipping sauce. It was very well executed. 3 sliders were very yummy. The small roasted beet salad was perfectly executed too. The arugula was tossed in light oil, then topped with beets, cheese and small chunks of grapefruits. The wood fired personal sized home grown pizza was hot with lots of goodies and not burnt at all. The pizza dough was soft, not too thick but not too thin either. The flagship of Homegrown Tap and Dough. Wishing this location to be very successful just like the Wash Park location. I paid $33 tonight for a pizza and salad. What a joke! I'll never be back and I would caution anybody thinking that they're going to have a true dinner here The pizza was supposed to have ham mushroom fresh mozzarella along with their regular cheese. If you look closely in my picture, you can count the pieces of cheese, including the grated cheese. There was maybe one piece of ham on each slice of pizza at best and I think we only saw two mushrooms. The kale salad was awful. The kale salad was at best one cup of kale of which most were the spines and are not edible. There were eight pieces of orange. They were orange triangles, which equated to maybe three pieces of orange out of an orange. The container it came in was a 3 x 4 and maybe 1 inch deep sorry I don't have a picture of that. read more

Great ambiance and (almost too) friendly service held promise, but the food fell short. We shared the chicken parm sliders and the pigs & pears pizza. One of the sandwich trio was well-prepared but the chicken in the remaining two was unappetizingly rubbery. The pizza flavors were muted and toppings were all soft, making for an unremarkable slice. The patio was lovely, so I'm tempted to return next time I'm in town to try a few more dishes and see if the kitchen was having an off-day. read more

We arrived here at about 5 on a Saturday evening and in the place was already packed. It's not the best place to have to wait with 2 toddlers but they ended up getting us a table quicker than the original estimate so that was nice. We also were seated away from main dining room which was perfect! We ordered two different salads to split between the four adults as well as three pizzas. The salads were the roasted beet and the arugula salad. Both were quite tasty for our pizzas. We got pig and pears, homegrown, and funguy. The kids got cheese pizza. All the pizzas were quite good but the surprise hit among the men was homegrown. Our server was good and all in all we would easily return here again. read more

Stopped in for lunch and ended up having one of those meals where everything just hits right. The dough is killer, the "Funguy" mushroom pizza is rich and garlicky in the best way, and even the apps land--fresh burrata bruschetta and a spinach-artichoke dip loaded with flavor. Wings are nicely seasoned without trying to light you up. Service was exceptional. Ashlee kept everything moving--fast refills, great timing, and the kids' meal came out early without us asking. Cozy and spacey with a gondola in the corner which accentuates this is Colorado. Lunch special with 14 inch pizza + salad was so amazing and price worthy for their generous portions. We three girls ordered three different pizzas and salads. Our three salads all had arugulas with slight difference in toppings from grapefruit to beet. The recipes seemed well thought out and sangrias from happy hour for $6 were perfect. This will be our go to spots and will brings our hubbies and kids next time. We went to this restaurant for an event presentation. The place gave off cabin vibes with a big fireplace in the middle and video games for the kiddos. I ordered the lunch special with Cesar salad and mushroom truffle pizza. The portions were big for lunch special. The salad was fresh and crisp with croutons and cheese. However, the pizza was what I was really excited about. It was freshly made dough with mushrooms, truffle and arugula. I'm not a big fan of red sauce and noticed this pizza came with white sauce/ Alfredo. The slices could easily be cut into 8 pieces. As you could imagine I only ate half. This time I didn't take picture because I was distracted by my presentation and trying to take notes. The server was attentive and refilled everyone's drinks. All and all great first impression. Fantastic pies but that's where it ends. Our waiter was too busy running around that he didn't even bother with any recommendations, eye contact or even a smile. We ordered lunch specials which is a fantastic deal and I would return for more. Every table around us were all smiles and chatting it up with their respective waitstaff. Checked out this place for a very early dinner at 4pm - it was fairly empty a few tables eating then. We ordered my son's kids pizza as he was hungry and it came pretty fast. My guest and I got the Caesar split and a pizza and also the chicken parm sliders. I didn't love the chicken parm sliders- the chicken was a little rubbery. The salad was good only problem was we got pizza at same time and couldn't enjoy salad without concern pizza was getting cold. I wish they spaced better. Overall the crust is good. The Margherita was good but we added pancetta and was a bit too crisp like a bacon bit. Again I wish we got last and we could try piping hot. Looking for a new dinner spot we visited on a busy Friday night. And while it was a long wait, it was worth the wait! After checking in, we received a text that we were on the list and were able to wait in our car. The quoted wait was accurate and once we were seated, service was friendly and quick. We shared an appetizer of the meatballs which were delivered to the table shortly after ordering. Serving was four delicious meatballs covered in sauce and cheese. We also shared the Funguy pizza which was fabulous. I love a mushroom & prosciutto pizza and bonus was the garlic bases. We had half a pizza to bring home and enjoy as leftovers. We have been to this location as well as the Castle rock location. Both are excellent. The food is consistently good the kids love going to the free arcade and as someone who doesn't like thin crust pizza but also doesn't always want a deep dish. Their pizza crust is consistently right in the middle where you still get a good amount of crust, but it's not overwhelming. Service is good although they are often busy. I enjoy the ambience, especially on cooler evenings when we can sit outside or in one of their flexible inside outside spaces. read more

What a wonderful addition to the Parker food scene! We sat out on the patio which was very large and comfortable, perfect for a Colorado spring day with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Our server was friendly and prompt and right there when we needed her, and the menu has many Italian mainstays. The food was delicious and got to our table very quickly. WOW! The most notable positive of our experience, was Avery the Host. I spoke with her over the phone, and requested accommodations for our kiddo with disabilities (cognitive/ autism), and she was very enthusiastic to support us. When she seated us, she asked great questions about preferences, to make sure we felt comfortable, and at ease. What an amazing mid casual dining experience. Parking was a breeze in a shared narrow lot with other restaurants. They have an outdoor patio with a fire pit to enjoy beverages. No pets on the patio. Sorry fur babies. Walked in around 7:45, no wait and almost dead on a Thursday night. Greeted and seated immediately. Out of the huge restaurant, sat in the very back dark corner booth by the bathroom and hidden server area. I laughed and felt like I was being timed out like when I was in grade school. Oof , yeah I was that kid! I even said it that to the guy who seated me and he asked if I wanted to move. I told him no , I just happened to recall that memory. It was funny to me looking back on that. Water was brought right away and Brandon was phenomenal. Some people just vibe right away and he was a cool person and just did an amazing serving job. I ordered their House margarita which was over-the-top yummy. It was smooth. It wasn't bitter. It wasn't sugary. Presentation was nice. I liked it. Ordered the cheesy garlic bread and some meatballs to start. Perfect amount of food , Goldielocks for sure , and bread was toasted and fluffy and the crispiness of the bite that melted in your mouth was delicious. Ordered the shaved Brussel sprout salad and the meat lovers pizza. What a match. The pizzas are thinner crust. They're not deep dish or thicker so just know that going in you're not gonna get a Chicago style or Detroit style pizza. They had ham, pepperoni, candied bacon, with spicy Italian sausage on the top...chefs kiss! What a yummy bite. I can't eat a whole pizza or a whole giant salad so I did end up taking some home, but it was so good next time. I'll probably just get an appetizer and a dessert. After a long road trip home we decided to stop and eat dinner. Our server Kevan was so nice and friendly and had connection to our home town, so he was nice to visit with. The managers stopped by to check on us to make sure everything was good. We ordered the roasted Brussels sprouts (we have ordered every time we have eaten here) they were amazing and the sauce was killer. Then we had the meat lovers (and added pineapple), and the "Pete"za, both were so delicious, And we finished off dinner with the chocolate chip cookie skillet. Will we be back, YES! When we mentioned this to the waitress, all she said was "Oh yeah, they weren't supposed to seat anyone here" and then proceeded to nothing about it. This location took over a former restaurant that really struggled with its own identity. However, since this is part of a small group of locations, they've got it down pat. We went on a Thursday at dinner time and it was quite busy, but we got ourselves on the waitlist via other website and got in pretty quickly. The Service struggled a little because we had a new server, but the manager was also extremely helpful and we completely appreciate that.
