I was referred to Precious Pet Care by a dog trainer I know. I was interested in their Golden Overnight Care services, a 24-hour service where the sitter is with my babies all day! In particular, my dogs are extremely attached as they are used to coming to work with me and generally being around me 24/7, so this type of sitter service was a must! I was given a link to request a meet & greet and schedule the days a sitter was needed in my home and met with my assigned sitter, Kate, prior to my requested days. Ever the worrier about my dogs, cats, birds, and guinea pigs that I would be apart from, Kate handled my bombarding her with information in good stride. During my vacation, I was pleased to see that she sent numerous photos, videos, and updates daily! Kate made me feel completely at ease while I was away and was such a great communicator. Upon my return, all my critters were happy, and the house was neat and clean! Kate made sure to take the trash out and clean up after herself as well. Truly a 5-star experience! They were super accommodating, communicative, and they took the best care of our two dogs (who can be needy and a little high maintenance). One dog is a blind senior and the other one is a little anxious due to being a rescue. Each sitter took the time to make sure our pups were comfortable with them and followed the directions we laid out. They sent updates and pictures after every visit, which significantly calmed the helicopter pet parent in me. Special shoutout to Kennedy who became best buds with my usually shy, slow-to-warm-up dog! This was an amazing option to have instead of putting our dogs in boarding (which we all would have been unhappy with). They are great at providing mix-and-match options to keep cost in mind. My daughter sent messages daily to ask about the "babies". I felt she was too much, but she was always answered promptly and sent short videos of them enjoying their stay. One of the dogs developed an ear infection (common for her) while there. I was sent text messages with pictures immediately and Stitxh even cleaned her ears which gave her some relief. Stitch knows his business very well and treated my dogs spectacularly. I had no worries or concerns. Well, maybe a little to get my dog to the vet but she just had dirty ears from the constant hair growth in there.
