I usually leave my dog with family, but they weren't available. I found this place through online research and ignored the red flags -- something I deeply regret. After a short trial weekend, my dog came home with a cut on his nose. They brushed it off and blamed him. Foolishly, I gave them a second chance for a longer stay. When I picked him up, he had a deep wound on his nose, a chipped tooth, and was visibly traumatized. He wasn't the same dog -- withdrawn, scared, and exhausted. When I contacted the owner, she avoided responsibility and offered no real explanation. After pushing for answers, she sent a photo of the small cage he had been kept in -- nothing like what I was told. She even tried to shift the blame onto my dog again. This place was neglectful and unprofessional, and I strongly considered pursuing further action. I would never bring my dog here again. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Your dog deserves better.

I would recommend the doggy daycare for active and playful dogs or social dogs. My other senior dog wasn't into the social scene and didn't like being around a lot of dogs, so this wasn't a great fit for her. They do have a non-social option, which is more like a small enclosed run, but you have to know your dog and whether that will work for them. For my two that have gone to PnP, every day I look forward to seeing their photos and hearing about the fun they had. In the summer, my dogs especially like cooling off in the kiddie pools. I know the entire facility is very clean. They close midday to clean, and my dogs never came home smelling dirty. Our senior dog Moose loved going to "school" and getting in the car everyday. The staff at PnP took such gentle loving care of him even as he got older and weaker. They noticed little things like days he was in pain even before we did and were always careful to let us know. Unfortunately, the business closed permanently with no advance notice to customers, despite many of us having prepaid daycare packages. I had just purchased a new 10-day package for $420 that had never been used. After the closure, I reached out to request a refund. Instead of issuing refunds directly, I was instructed to contact the third-party scheduling software company, Gingr, or dispute the charge with my bank or credit card company. As the business that accepted my payment, I expected Paws N Pals to handle refunds directly rather than directing customers elsewhere. To make matters more confusing, I continue to receive daycare notifications even though the business has permanently closed. I truly appreciated the care my dog received over the years, but the way this business closed and handled prepaid customer accounts has been extremely disappointing. Longtime customers who paid in advance for services that were never provided should not have to fight to recover their money. I hope every customer with an unused package receives a full refund.

You hear of all these sitting services never showing up to feed or play with animals and my family had a tragedy happen when a boarding service kept our dog in a cage instead of the run we ordered, and something horrific happened so I will forever be scared. The house is clean and well looked after and there is clear plexiglass between the kitty rooms and my cat just stared at the other cats. No fights or hissing. We have been pleased bringing Orzo here 2x a week so far even though my husband and I both work from home. When Orzo comes back, he is SO tired so we know he's had a full day of play with other dogs. This has helped him with his chewing problem at home when we aren't able to exercise him the amount he would prefer. Everybody we have encountered at Dogtopia knows and loves Orzo. We attended a pride event in Downtown Bellevue and when he got to the Dogtopia stall, he recognized everybody and vice versa. This was only after a couple of months of going to Dogtopia. So far, the staff have been responsive to emailing and calling us back when we have inquiries. They also have grooming and boarding services, which we've utilized. Easy parking for drop off and pick up and flexible if we ever need to switch dates. Unlimited webcam access when they are at the doggy daycare so you can see what they are up to. Can't ask for more!

This is a long awaited review for Dogtopia in the Overlake area of Bellevue. I had my little Rocco…read morein their care for a few weeks. Generally I had been satisfied with their care. However there came a day when their care didn't meet my standards. Rocco is a toy Yorkie; he's very small. In fact, was the smallest dog in their small dog area. On the particular day in question, I noticed via their webcam that at least one, maybe two other dogs, were bullying him. I did not care for the lack of quick resolve for this, and I had communicated it. I believe it was the same day or nearly the same day, I observed the same in person. Upon giving their staff my concerns, he was shortly thereafter dismissed from daycare. After receiving a barrage of cancellation emails from Dogtopia, their owner had the audacity of emailing me instead of just calling. She provided a very passive aggressive letter, cc'ing different people as well. Rather than taking responsibility, she decided to kick him out of daycare. This was unacceptable, and I had responded a few days following the receipt of her email. You can find her email in full below: ------ Dear Mr. Marker: Rocco is a wonderful dog, and we have truly loved having him in our playrooms. It troubles me to hear, however, that you are unhappy with our services. Given your dissatisfaction with our open-play design, with our approach to safety, and with our staff, we believe that another care environment may be a better match for you. We emphatically want every family to feel confident and comfortable in their daycare choice. As your clearly displayed displeasure demonstrates, we are evidently not the right fit for you and thus we are unlikely to meet your expectations in the long term. We will miss Rocco, but we genuinely hope you find a daycare or care arrangement that aligns with what you're wanting. We wish you both the very best. Had to reluctantly board our Yorkie for 7 days for the first time ever. After a previous boarding…read moreexperience with our previous Yorkie at another facility (that has since closed down), I was very anxious about possibly repeating the experience. However, the entire process and stay at Eastside Vet was excellent. Pre-boarding prep: A wellness exam with their medical team is required before which makes sense so that they are familiar and able to provide medical treatment if needed. But it was also helpful as the vet also explained the boarding care and what to expect. Then a thorough intake form is completed to ensure the staff are aware of any and all care needs, i.e. diet/meals, behaviors, preferences, etc. Any details specific to our pup to help keep his daily routine as much as possible. During boarding: I did elect to pay for an additional potty break/walk, playtime, and daily photo update. Would recommend the photo update if you have any separation anxiety. The staff attendants shared detailed daily summaries and the cutest photos (attached examples). They were so patient and caring with our pup and this really helped to ease any anxiety. I was also able to provide home food, snacks, toys, bed, and blanket. Note: there is no attendant overnight (6p-8a) but I think that might be an industry standard. Pick up: staff were very nice, efficient and everything was already prepaid online, returned all provided items intact and any remaining food/treats. They provided a post boarding care sheet as well. Cost: compared to other facilities, it is on the higher range but I think still reasonable comparable. But also worth the higher rate as there is a full medical team on site during their regular business hours (it's a vet clinic also), so if there are any medical treatments or emergencies during the stay, the medical team are there to assist. Overall, would highly recommend and board with Eastside Vet again if needed. Staff were very communicative and caring and overall so sweet to our little pup.
