Eric was contracted to install my kitchen cabinets. He did horrendous work making poor cuts, didn't know how to cut deco strip on the corners, cut the hole for the microwave outlet on the wrong side so covered up the hole with white duct tape. Installed an island that was not level cover panels bowed out. I could go on and on.He will make all excuses that I have pictures to prove all this. It was a horrible experience. I am sure when thing work, this is a great service. My experience was unfortunately different, and it really was how the entire situation was handled. I reached out to Eric, the owner, and pretty much a half hearted apology but essentially told I was shit out of luck. If they are putting hardware on your PAX system, I would be careful, they might ruin your doors Here is my story IDA Flatpack were super accommodating to send someone on Friday evening to assemble my PAX after Ikea screwed me over by not delivering that Thursday. Unfortunately he forgot his stencil or something to assist him with putting the handles on the door, so requested to come back Sunday to finish the job. Not a problem. On Saturday my husband and I level our closet, and place the PAX exactly where we wish it to go in the room Sunday, Nate comes and puts the handles on. I go to check the handles, and they are obvious to the naked eye they are uneven. I tell Nate and he tried to square up the doors. At the ends, even with his best efforts, something was off, but he told us unless he drilled new holes, that was the best he could do. After Nate left, we discovered that he had moved our PAX a few inches over, I'm not sure why. All the work my husband and I went through to level and ensure the closet was correct was for nothing, it took us another half hour / hour after Nate left to square the closet (now with clothing), it was a total waste of time. I am most displeased with how the handles look, from the outside and inside. I am attaching pictures so you can see what looks to be a mess from both the outside of the closet and the inside. The outside you can the screws, and the inside of the closets looks like the hole was drilled several times because he couldn't get the right placement. I am highly disappointed at this. The doors are ruined. I expected much more professional work from someone who does this all the time. If I had known this would be the result, I would not have let him near the handles of the PAX. Nate was pleasant and great, but his work at the end really did not hold up for what I think you would expect when you send someone out to do a job. read more

I have used Eric's Furnish My Space service three times, and I continue to be impressed. The first time I used Furnish My Space was to furnish a living room. I used the service where Furnish My Space would go to IKEA on my behalf, pick up all the items I had decided on myself, and then install and build everything. It was super seamless, the agreed-upon timeline was tightly followed, and everything was done to perfection. My second experience was with the design service, which I used to set up a home office/vanity. This space was very small and needed to function well--Eric knocked it out of the park! It looked great and was very functional. A major win! Again, everything went smoothly, on time, and on budget. My most recent experience was with a space that I wanted to use as a den but that could comfortably convert into a guest space as well. I could never have imagined this experience would be so seamless and stress-free! The rendering program Eric uses truly looks like your space. This helps immensely when deciding on the final design, especially if someone has a hard time imagining ideas or seeing a familiar space in a new light. The rendering is so well done that it completely reflects the final design. Eric sourced ALL the items the space needed, sending me multiple lamp options, side tables, mirrors, rugs, pillows--the list goes on. Eric was even able to repurpose items already in existence from my previous projects with him. It should be noted that Design My Space will visit multiple store locations to gather everything that is needed to fully complete the job. When the project is done, it is done, and everything you agreed upon is installed and ready. That is simply priceless, in my opinion. I look forward to working with Eric again. Eric is truly an amazing person. He has not only delivered fantastic design and installation of my household projects but he was also a man with a great heart. Eric designed and built a pantry cabinet for me as well as installed a glass shower door for my bathroom. Eric was prompt with his starting date, and he completed all the projects with the highest degree of professionalism. As a result of his great work, my mom wanted to hire him for more household projects. Eric came to my mom's house, took the measurements, and helped with the design. Unfortunately, my elderly mom was struck with covid and in the end she had to give up all the household renovation. We offered to pay Eric for the initial design work he had done for us but he graciously declined the offer. Eric was so understanding about our situation that he even expressed best wishes for my mom's healing. Really, this is my first time encountering someone in business being so considerate of his customers. This is a long review so here's the takeaway -- stay far away from this company if you care about your time and money. I hired Eric to plan for a series of jobs, including redoing two closets using Easy Closets, which he said he had a ton of experiences with. We finished the design, booked a shipment date, which happens to be when Eric would be out of town. He said not a problem -- one of his guys will come and install it. We agreed on a timeline for the install and a quote for the project, weeks in advance of the install date. Fast forward to installation day. His guy shows up and says he didn't know he was installing Easy Closets -- has never seen it before in his life. Eric never showed him the closet, didn't even tell him how many closets he was supposed to be installing or anything about what to do. He spent an hour making phone calls and looking at the instructions completely baffled. He ended up leaving because he didn't know how to do the job, thought it should be a two-person job, and didn't have the right tools with him because he wasn't told what he needed to bring. Eric at this point is out of pocket at a resort. When he came back online, he turned it around and tried to make it seem like I was also at fault. He said that the installation date was changed because of a shipping delay -- even though the original date was after he left town anyway. He asked me why I didn't ask my painters to take out the old closet organizers and spackle/ paint, instead of asking his guy to do it. I told him I asked him whether I should empty out the closet during repainting, and he told me that his guy can "spackle and paint one coat, no problem." I could've gotten it done for free but held off because of his word. He then told me he forgot about it, the quote didn't include this work and so he's charging me two hours for his guy's time. I told him his guy only spent one hour doing work -- the other hour was him making calls because he didn't know what to do. Then Eric accuses me of arguing with him over money, even though the entire two hours were due to his mistakes. He changes his tune about the quote -- it's definitely going to exceed the upper range because he's not here. He tries to blame the situation on me doing this when he's not around -- even though we agreed weeks ago that he wouldn't be in town during the install. Then he says he has to go and told me I'll just have to live with 20 boxes in my apartment for a week, and wait for him to deal with it when he's back. At this point, the quote that he says he'd be exceeding is 50% more than what he originally said it would cost. And during this entire process, he did not apologize or own up to his mistakes -- just blamed it all on poor timing, as if he didn't have weeks to prepare his guy for what to do. I got someone else to do the job, who was transparent about pricing and lived up to their promise. If anyone is looking for closet/ cabinet assembly/ installation, feel free to message me for a recommendation. I highly recommend Furnish My Space. Eric did an amazing job assembling all of our IKEA furniture. He was prompt, friendly, and considerate. He came up with good solutions when challenges arose (i.e. creating pass-throughs to allow access to electrical outlets and improvising ways to anchor the furniture to the wall.) Eric and his assistants completed our job with the kind of precision and commitment I'd expect of a Special Forces team. He strategized around Ikea's supply shortages and staked out two different Ikea stores the moment they opened to be sure he'd secure the furniture I wanted. I was in continuous communication with Eric from the time I first placed my order until he arrived with his team at my home. He and his staff are friendly, cheerful, competent, and very fast. In the past I relied on Ikea to deliver furniture, and I assembled it myself. Assembly is a bit of a pain, but the true misery is waiting for an Ikea delivery. Excellent service. I got the delivery in the middle of a work day, and it was crucial for them to be there on time. They arrived on the dot, and the over all service was great. Also, my building requires a COI, and they were able to provide me one without any fuss. I just had a little bit of hiccup with Zelle/Chase Quickpay with the app acting up, so make sure you have the payee setup beforehand, or have a backup payment method. To echo a recent review, Eric (the owner) dropped the ball on me, and now I'm scrambling to find an alternative service a week before my move. Yes, I understand the time we're in now, but I also understand professionalism, and this certainly was not professional. I needed to furnish an apartment and IKEA was the best place to shop. After a few days and lots of clicking, my list soon grew to 5 piece furniture and miscellaneous items. These are pretty big things like a bed frame, a 93'' tall dresser, TV unit, chairs and a small dining table. Now, I've assembled an IKEA unit before but I knew I was in way over my head to handle alone. My brother in law used IDA and recommended their company. You just send them your shopping list, they shop, buy, deliver and assemble for additional cost. This was a God sent service and I'm so glad I went with them... considering the delivery fee is equal to or less than what IKEA would charge AND it's super reasonable. The back and forth took about a few hours, 4 emails and it was scheduled for the next day. IDA gave me a 3 hour window and Warnell and Jamal arrived right in the middle. Both carried all the boxes to a walkup and was very courteous. Warnell seems to be the veteran in the team and asked where I would like to place all the pieces. After a quick assessment, they went straight to work over the next few hours. They've done this for so long that they didn't even need to read the instructions. Their professionalism is also what stood out to me. Besides working through w/o eating lunch, Warnell swept and removed all the cardboard boxes w/o me even asking. They picked up everything from my ikea shopping cart, using the store that had the most items in stock, delivered it right on time, and assembled everything. If you need help buying/ assembling Ikea furniture, I highly recommend using IDA! Their rates are very reasonable, and well worth it. They are 10x better then Ikea's delivery service (more on that later). Andre assembled a Pax wardrobe and a Malm storage bed in 3 hours. I am sure it would have taken me and my bf 10 hours if we were to do it ourselves. Communication with Eric was always responsive, and Andre was prompt and friendly. He even taped up all the cardboard and took them to the trash room when he leaves. This is actually my 2nd time using IDA, and both time the service has been amazing. Last time they helped me pick up a bed I purchased on craigslist and assembled it. Recently, we purchased Ikea kitchen cabinets and few furniture items for our apartment. I gravely regret using Ikea's delivery service and wish I used IDA's shopping service instead. Ikea contracts out their delivery to this company called XPO. XPO never showed up on the scheduled delivery date. I called them and was informed that the bed was lost in their warehouse. They asked me to call Ikea to ship another bed to them, and re-schedule delivery. If you have never called Ikea before, the average waiting time is 45- 60 mins. When they finally show up to deliver the items, it was a disaster! They just put pieces all over my apartment and didn't bother to group the boxes together. It was impossible for us to inventory what they delivered, so we had to sign for the goods without counting. When we finally got the chance to group the pieces together and match them to our shopping list, we realized some items were missing, and we got 6 boxes that are not ours. Those 6 boxes belong to 4 other customers! I called APO and they just told me to call Ikea. Knowing how long the wait time is, I wasn't gonna spend hours waiting on the phone again. We went back to the Brooklyn store to purchase the missing items, and spent another hour at the return desk to arrange for them to pick up the items that they left at our apartment. Needless to say, I will never use Ikea's delivery service again. I cannot recommend IDA enough. Thank you Eric and Andre! Keep up the good work! read more

3rd time using these guys and I LOVE THEM. (Used to be called IDA Flatpack.) Eric (owner) is responsive, communicative, and knows his sh*t. I ordered a monster of an Ikea Pax wardrobe and when I mistakenly left a couple of components off the list he spotted my mistake and corrected it immediately. He's an Ikea savant. My assembly dude was Andre and if there was an Ikea Assembly Olympics (which there should be) ANDRE WOULD TAKE ALL THE MEDALS. He put my Brimnes bed and Pax monster together in about 3 hours. Do you realize how fast that is? Stupid fast! Bruce Lee fast!! He was also so sweet and friendly and I now basically want to adopt him. These guys are serious lifesavers. The thought of putting together Ikea furniture puts me in a serious sweat. Plus I have heard horrible things about the Ikea delivery service. I have actually used IDA Flatpack twice, and both times the service has been stellar. I cannot tell enough people about how incredible it is. Both times I have used them, they have had prompt and incredibly responsive communication. Their rates are fair considering the immense convenience, and they work very fast and always send gentleman who are considerate, do everything with a smile, and clean up ALL the cardboard and take it when they leave. Most recently, I emailed on a Sunday evening and they were able to confirm availability for the very next day. Justice & Andre came over and swiftly built two nightstands, two dressers, a shelving unit, and installed shades on two windows, they did all of this in 2 hours.. it would have for sure took me over 2 weeks if I had tried to do it myself. Not only that, but they carried everything up to my 3rd floor walkup and refused my offers to help. I cannot recommend this service enough to anybody who is moving, just moved, or just wants some new stuff. I used IDA Flatpack this week to get an order in from IKEA, after doing lots of research and realizing the trip downtown + the ferry + standing in line at IKEA + putting the crap into a (van? cab? uber? rental car?) + driving back + unloading on my own was not worth a) the time or b) the money. Not to mention, I've heard awful things regarding IKEA's own delivery service, which costs a whopping $139 for online orders. That's ridiculous. So, I called up and emailed IDA Flatpack with my shopping list - a large dresser, a wall shelf, a etagere, step stool, and a few little marketplace items. An hour later, I was told that they had a space for me the NEXT day! A young man called me multiple times during the day to update me on the time of my delivery. He showed up an hour late after the ETA, due to traffic between NJ and NYC. I paid $110 + $14 toll = $124 (via Venmo.. kinda sketch)... which is less than IKEA's delivery cost. AND I had someone go pick up all my stuff and bring it to my living room without having to lift a finger. If IKEA is one of your options and you don't want to waste and entire day sweating and stressed out, give IDA Flatpack a call. Totally worth the $110 service, especially if you plan on ordering/delivering anyways. read more

I emailed him late Tuesday night and he responded (around 11-ish)! We set up for Thursday and I'm super paranoid so I kept emailing and calling him but he was completely patient and answered all of my questions. I had to work on Thursday but my roommate let him in (Roomie says he was super friendly btw) PLUS (more nerves) I worked late so when I came home, it was like Ikea Santa Claus!! MY wife, daughter and I had been caught up in the recession crash and were living in 1 BR in a 1200' apartment. My friend and savior provided shelter and furnishing. Then, 2 years ago, about to this day, he found a new place and we now had a huge apartment to furnish. IDA made the transition seamless and exquisite. I will add that my wife was recovering from major surgery when we had to refurnish. The delivery was seamless and the assembly crew flawless and did not disturb my wife's convalescence.This is the best service in NY. I am ever so grateful to IDA on a practical and spiritual level.They are the best! I have recommended them to many friends. Send them your business, you will be ecstatic! Eric is trying to make an honest living and I appreciate that. The reason why I am irritated at him is because of his conduct. I did business with Eric two or three months ago and am happy with the assemly he did. I'll keep this brief because I know Eric is helpful and a great resource for some but here are my issues: a) Eric spent waaay too long to assemble things. What was originally quoted as being a job for $200 ended up being more than $500. And I don't think it should have been that much. I am not really sure happened or why assembly of some simple items took so long. b) Eric asked us for more money for a tip after he was done. Umm, you are the owner of your business so really, the owner doesn't get tipped. We tipped him but he made a big fuss about how the tip wasn't enough (it was 10%) and mentioned something about karma or something. That left a bad taste in our mouths. c) Eric wanted to be fed, which is cool, but then he said something to the effect of how the serving we gave him wasn't enough (we had divided the lunch evenly between four people). It was a little bizzare. Overall, Eric behaved as though he was doing us a HUGE favor by putting together the furniture and we were really infringing on his time. This is a great idea for a business and the guys deliver. I used IDA in lieu of TaskRabbit after quickly becoming frustrated with IKEA's Kafka-esque "picking and delivery" service (it's impossible to actually be connected to someone at the store who can help set it up). IDA responded to my email promptly and set up a time to deliver and assemble what I needed from IKEA. When there was a problem completing my assembly (I purchased three bookshelves and one of them was mislabeled at the factory, so it had to be swapped out for the right finish), Doug showed great dedication in working with me to find time during the days that followed to make it right. He was friendly and very capable (he had the assembly done extremely quickly), and the price was definitely right. A little constructive criticism: IDA seems extremely busy; it seems almost like it's more than they can handle. I think if these guys marketed themselves more aggressively and improved their back-end operations a little bit so they could accommodate more orders more quickly and with more precision, they'd make a killing. Nobody in New York wants to go to IKEA, and the fee that IDA charges is definitely small price to pay vs. navigating the forced Swedish socialism of the store itself. I know that personally, if I ever need anything large from IKEA again, I'm going straight back to IDA for help. read more

Eric is awesome! I got the Titanium Package (personal shopping and delivery) and furniture assembly. He is very organized and efficient. Finished all my assembly in about 3.5 hours (2 bookcases, dresser, bed frame). I live in a 6 floor walk up, and I feel that the extra charge to lug all my stuff up was very fair ($45). Furthermore, he was very friendly the entire time he was in my apartment. Beyond his ability to assemble very efficiently, Eric still cares about how everything comes out. He drilled holes into the bookshelf for me where I wanted and even noticed that my floor was slanted and created a makeshift way to level my bookcase and bed out. Warnell returned our email request for a quote quickly and with the best price out of a few IKEA installers we queried this morning. He set up a same day appointment with an accurate quote. Our installer Andre showed up on time and was very polite. I was worried about carrying the ikea boxes up our loft stairs but Andre took care of it no problem. He assembled two dressers and one desk in a cramped 5'7" loft space with smiles on his face. He assembled one more desk and dresser for us as well. Quote was $140-$175 for 4 to 5 hours, Andre finished in just under 4 hours and everything looks great. You can't beat best price and best service. read more

I emailed IDA on Sunday night and by Monday evening I had a fully furnished apartment of IKEA goodies. Doug went to multiple locations and built everything (bed, sofa, coffee table, wardrobe, tv stand) and cleaned up every piece of cardboard and packaging. He is even going to the lengths of picking me up a bedside table and dropping it off in the next few days after a mix up that was mine/IKEA's fault. Seriously, you won't regret using these guys. At first, I was very skeptical of using this service. It's cheaper than Ikea's delivery and they will pick up the furniture for you. Crazy. I had no other option at the time but I'm very glad it worked out! I emailed Eric Friday night to ask about a Saturday delivery. He replied promptly and told me he only had a spot on Sunday. Wow, can't say how impressed I was by this service, specifically Bejon (sorry for any misspelling)! Bejon was by far the most knowledgeable, patient, and attentive handyman I could have asked for. I needed help to disassemble AND reassemble a Malm bed frame and an entire PAX wardrobe unit. Not only was Bejon efficient in dismantling, but came the NEXT day to reassemble at my new apartment! The moving service I had couldn't believe how quick/skillfully he took apart the pieces. They even said they could never have done it as well (so note: hire these guys instead of movers to disassemble your IKEA goods)! Even further, once Bejon completed reassembly he noticed the wardrobe was leaning forward due to uneven floor boards. He spent time on the phone with his company to determine the best solution and went out to purchase the materials needed to ensure my safety with the wardrobe. I couldn't believe how he went above and beyond to guarantee the perfection of his work. Now? I have a perfectly assembled bed frame and wardrobe unit and I couldn't have done it without this service. Highly recommend and will be in touch for future business! read more

What an incredible service. After living in a furnished room for 6 months, I thought it was time to move on as well as get my own stuff. I ordered the Titanium Package for a Saturday, and Eric arrived with everything from IKEA. Despite the quantity of different things ordered, he got it 100% right. Even better, we corresponded via e-mail so he could confirm I was getting exactly what I was looking for (the wall mounted book shelves have the same name and look similar to those that are not). He had an employee cancel on him, but rather than reschedule he came out and worked on everything himself. After taking six hours for something that would probably take me a month, everything was done. The furniture was great, Eric could not be nicer and the nightmare of IKEA did not have to be visited on me. Doug is just as good as they come! An absolute pleasure to do business with. As an interior designer and professional organizer, this service is a dream come true for me. For this particular job, I emailed them my IKEA shopping list, and they went to several of the area IKEA stores, picked up everything needed, and then delivered it and put it all together. Doug made some great suggestions on how to get the best wear out of a few of the products, and he assembled some of the non- IKEA stuff that was part of this design project. I was amazed at how quickly they put it all together, mounted cabinets to the walls, tweaked and leveled, and then, the best part, they took away all of the debris! LOVE IT! Would I use them again? I can't say enough great things about Ikea Delivery Alternative! We had a piece of ikea furniture damaged from a recent move, and IDA not only provided prompt customer service with scheduling but even fixed the bookcase and hung an attaching hutch that we were told by another competitor couldn't be hung because of the existing damage. I was impressed with the service, but not overwhelmingly so, as some of the other reviewers seemed to be. I have to say that I had really high expectations, so I can't really fault them for falling short. There were definitely a few hiccups in the process: a) I was given the wrong assembly quote initially - which was corrected a few days before my delivery date (from $35 to $105 is a pretty significant increase, I'd say). I still went along with it, because what was I supposed to do... I was pretty clear that I didn't want to pay the $105 if I didn't have to, especially if the build wasn't going to take a full 3 hrs, but then they showed up with TWO guys, so it ended up being $105 for the build regardless. I'm pretty sure that one of the two guys could have put together ALL of my furniture in less than 2 hrs because he put together my dresser and desk in under 1 hr, while the other one took a full hr to put together....my bed. I wasn't too happy about the additional build charge that I had to pay..and the additional tip I felt inclined to pay for the extra person. Is there any way we can choose how many builders we get/ the experience of the builder?? b) I changed the delivery time about a week before the delivery date (or maybe 5 days prior) from 1-3PM to 5PM because I couldn't take a full day off of work. My delivery day rolled around and I got a call from the delivery guy at 1:30PM telling me they were enroute. It seemed that someone else had confirmed the change in time but had not communicated that with the others... Everything was resolved in the end and they still ended up showing up at 5PM (well actually closer to 5:45PM), but I had to scramble in the middle of the day in case they couldn't make the later delivery. Also, I definitely did not get updates regarding ETA as some others mentioned. I had to request the ETA on my own when it was getting close to 5:30 and I still hadn't heard anything. c) I wanted my items delivered from the Brooklyn Ikea because I knew they had ALL of the items that I wanted, and because my apartment is probably at most 25 minutes from Brooklyn. Toll would have been $15-20 tops. However, they chose to pick up my items in NJ, which meant that I had to pay $24 in toll (okay fine, I'm already shelling out $500+ so $24 is chump change at this point). When I pointed out that they could have picked up ALL of the items in Brooklyn, they made it seem like they'd done me a huge favor for not charging me for the two trips they made to two different Ikea stores. Well...if they'd gone to the Brooklyn Ikea, that might have saved them time and gas money... Overall, this service was definitely a huge help. I had all of my furniture assembled in less than two hours, and I didn't have to deal with the Ikea trip or the drive through the city on my own. The two guys doing the build for me were also a lot of fun to work with (my roommates came home halfway through the build and thought I'd just invited two of my friends over to help me assemble my furniture). However, I do think that there were a lot of liberties taken with costs that could have been avoided. The business seems to be a close-knit group of guys working for each other (friends of friends of friends), and I get that they want to help each other out with jobs, but to do so on the customer's dime doesn't seem all that fair to me. That being said, I would recommend their services if money is of no issue to you (but then again you probably wouldn't be ordering your furniture from ikea). However, if you are on a tight budget and would rather take charge of all aspects of cost, you are probably better off doing this on your own. read more

We needed to set up a guest room asap. Timing was crazy, for reasons I'm not going to get into online. IDA flatpack made it happen! And although things got a little delayed for reasons out of everyone's control, the fact that the IDA team kept communicating with me made it all work out. The concept here is simple but so obvious: "we'll drive to ikea for you and buy stuff for you. And we'll assemble it too." The good part is that they deliver on this simple promise. Wernell, my deliverer and installer, was courteous and kept me in the loop. They crushed the installation. If you don't mind the extra $$$, this is the way to do IKEA in NYC. read more

It's a shame that Ikea doesn't do orders over the phone. And many Ikea items are not available for delivery on website --you have to go to a B&M store. So when i wanted a wardrobe, I found this service via Google and Apartment therapy with rave reviews. Eric emails back and calls back RIGHT AWAY, which says he is responsive and responsible. What i got with Eric's service: -personal shopping for my ikea item -saved an entire day of going to and fro from Manhattan to Red Hook -saved my sanity by not having to deal with the kids and crowds -no waiting in line -same day delivery (my item came within 1.5 HOURS (!!!) Originally, i had gone thru Ikea Hicksville, which has a "services centre' that takes orders via phone, but they called me back 2 days after i sent in my request (!!!) and they charge $110 delivery plus $30 phone-in ordering fee, and it is NOT same day service. Plus you have to fill in a mess of forms which they email you and that's just a pain. So let's see: $140 for delivery of my item if i go thru Ikea (and fill out forms and wait for call backs, and wait days) vs. $125 for Eric's service (done thru a quick email) within a few hours. I saved $15, and i got better service than Ikea. Highly recommended. I got prompt emails/texts/updates from Eric's team. I would much rather give my shipping/delivery money to Eric's company than to Ikea. In NY, Time is money. You save time and save money with this service. just email your order in, and pay cash upon deilvery. Simple as that, and cheaper + faster to boot. read more

Almost 2 years after I fist used Eric's services and I'm still singing his praises to my fellow manhattanites. He is super accommodating and available last minute to do large jobs. I was even available to pay with paypal about a week before delivery(although he prefers cash). His partner Eddie was fantastic! He even helped me move some heavy furniture and boxes while putting together some other furniture that was over and beyond his scope of work. Eddie was great to talk to and made me feel right at home while unpacking my new apt. There was nothing better than watching my movers move in my stuff while my new IKEA stuff was being assembled and then being able to sit in my new apt on my new couch without ever setting foot in IKEA or picking up a screwdriver! I discovered IDA when I was looking for a suitable alternative for getting things delivered from standard Ikea freight. Being able to schedule my own delivery for a less than or equal to price is fantastic. That being said, I was even more pleased by the responsiveness (via email) of my order questions and request, and the up to date time of arrival texts the day-of. It made it very easy to ensure I could still get other errands done, and then be back in time for Warnell and his partner, instead of waiting around hoping Ikea came with my stuff at some point. Warnell estimated 2-3 hours of setup, and it took three on the dot. He and his partner worked diligently and were very polite. I'm absolutely going to email them again when I pick up another piece of furniture! Thanks guys! read more
