This is our go-to place for furniture. We got an Ashley furniture couch set (3+2 seater) for 2/3rds of the price! And it looks just like the one we saw at the store! Terrible products and a staff that can't be bothered. A couple months ago my partner and I went here because we had just moved into a new apartment and were looking for a very specific size and color couch, at a price that wouldn't break the bank. We looked around and found one in the show room that was the exact size we were looking for. While the showroom itself isn't great, the sectional we wanted was plenty comfortable and looked durable. The man who helped us was able to find us that exact model in the color and fabric we wanted and estimated delivery 3 days later. The price was great as well which made my skepticism kick in but we went ahead anyway. About 4 or 5 days later the couch arrived (a day or 2 late but we were fine with that). We were surprised when it arrived that such a big sectional was so light weight. Also the legs, while clearly durable - were made of plastic and not wood like the one we saw. About a week or 2 went by and we started to notice one of the cushions was tearing already, and you could feel the springs in certain cushions. One day I used the armrest to push myself up and heard a pop like something broke inside it. We had yet to have any company on it and the two of us are pretty thin individuals so it's not as if it had to much weight on it in this short time. My partner called the dealer several times to see if we could at least get the cushion that had come apart at the seams replaced. This became a long game phone tag with him for several days. Finally he said that they could not just replace the cushion (btw did I mention the cushions are permanently attached making them near impossible to properly clean). He said he would contact the manufacturer and asked us to send a photo of the damage. We did. After which he said since it was still within the 30 day warranty they would simply pick up ours and replace with an entire new sectional. Great! Except that never happened. We waited around all day the Sunday he said they'd be coming and they never showed. That Monday we called and he began to backtrack on what he'd previously said. Several weeks of phone calls and messages later and he is clearly now just avoiding us. Don't be fooled - bad business practices and inferior products. read more

Very happy with my queen bed purchase. Both Christina and Sunny are very friendly and helpful. They told me a specific date of delivery when I ordered the bed and it was delivered on time. Such an easy furniture buying experience!! I looked online before I came, so I had an idea of what I wanted. The man in front was so helpful and welcoming. Delivery was on time and they put my couch together very quickly. The outside and the neighborhood doesn't look like much, but don't let that fool you. This was so refreshing after buying a similar sectional at American Freight Furniture where they never delivered my furniture and have been impossible to reach. Finally I had to leave and they called me at 630 smh... I gave them a 2nd chance to deliver yesterday and again no delivery. They never responded to my messages last night. TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. least professional delivery based company that I have ever dealt with. The staff is extremely unprofessional and does not care AT ALL about customer service. I was communicating with "Sunny Vo" about having a tv stand delivered. We set the delivery for a Wednesday night at 7:00PM. I left my job early to meet the delivery team at my home. An hour and a half after the designated delivery window, Sunny reaches out to me and says he forgot to tell me that the delivery team got caught up in another city and they will not be able to deliver to me at all on Wednesday. We then reschedule for two days later, at the same time. Two days go by... It is now one hour before the rescheduled delivery window. I message Sunny asking if the delivery team is still set to arrive on time. Sunny reads my message, but does not respond. Three hours go by, I send him another message saying that I will take my business elsewhere. He also reads this message, but does not respond. NOW, this is where things get ridiculous. Three days after the second delivery date, I start getting lots of calls from someone speaking with an urgent tone "we are at your home with your order". I had no idea what the caller was talking about, I was not expecting any orders. Upon walking outside, I find that the delivery team showed up with the furniture I was supposed to receive two days ago. This means that the employee, Sunny, read my messages saying I was no longer interested - then still attempted to have the piece delivered days later without giving me notice. Overall, furniture direct wasted about 5 hours of my time. They have no communication, and do not care at all about their customers. If this place was the last spot on earth to buy furniture, I would rather go without furniture than purchase from them. I suggest you do not buy from them if you are reading this. Even though they wasted my time, I do not want them to waste your time too. Buy from anywhere else. read more

Purchased a sectional sofa (PEEVER SECTIONAL CM6268BR-SET), was easy and straight forward on their website and often have coupons for 20% off. They accept PayPal or you can pay in cash once they deliver. Delivery was free (to San Jose) and quick- I did have to inquire and email them first because non of their confirmations gave an estimated delivery time, but I received a quick response with a delivery date about 4 days after my purchase. They also built the sofa for us for an additional $40 as stated on their website. Delivery guys were friendly and helpful. The most HORRIBLE business on earth. I bought a $1400 bedroom set and paid them $$ to assemble. The bed broke in less than a month. The prices are CHEAP for a reason. Upon looking further, the entire bed was supported by just two pieces of wood in the middle and the slats were fragile. After about 2 months of me continuously requesting them to fix it, they came over and said its not their fault - its the bed manufacturer who makes these beds. They put some glue here and there and they left. They would not do anything about it. Its a piece of JUNK now. I paid in cash so I can't do anything about it. My recommendation to anyone considering buying from them is to pay little more and buy from a reliable place or buy used. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS. read more

This business if you can even call it that is a JOKE! I ordered a Cal King Bed from this business/SUNNY after coming across them on Craigslist. He promptly said that he would have the bed in 2 weeks. Great. Its almost been 2 weeks and I haven't heard from him so I reach out and ask if they will be delivering 4/7/18 since that's the 2 week mark. Sunny made plans with me to deliver this item between 1pm and 3pm. My husband took work off and my dad came out to help set the bed up. Literally 30 minutes before 1pm Sunny texts saying he would not be coming as previously agreed??????ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!You make a plan with a customer that has already paid you and then make a plan to deliver on a certain day and time and then give no courtesy whatsoever or thought that we made plans for this delivery and then never show up. Long story short my husband ended up cancelling the order and we got refunded our money via Paypal which I paid with. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUISNESS AND DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THEY STAY IN BUISNESS WHEN THEY HAVE PAYING CUSTOMERS AND THEN DONT SHOW UP! Don't order from here unless want your time wasted. I was told that everything I wanted was in stock and that it'd be delivered this past Sunday. I waited all day Sunday and never got a call from anyone. I called the number provided in the email I received at almost 2 PM. I believe I spoke to Son. I was told that my items were picked up by the truck driver and that he should have called me for an approximate delivery time. Son said he would call me back after contacting the driver. About an hr later he called and said that he couldn't get ahold of the driver, but would try again on Monday and call me back. It's now midday Thursday and I still haven't heard from anyone. I've left voicemails and sent an email. This experience has been very unprofessional. I figured that I had nothing to lose since I chose the pay in cash option, but it's been a complete waste of my time. I could have used this time to look elsewhere. read more

The price was very reasonable, but i went to a few other stores in town anyway and they definitely offer the best value and price, free delivery too. So I was looking for new couch and recliners for my front room and after buying online before I decide not to go that route as I was burned by not being able to sit and feel the quality. Christine was nice enough to answer all my questions and let me check all that they had in stock with out any sales pressure. Once I made up my mind she was right there to write the order and apply the extra discounts. Very good deal. They had some of the product in stock and scheduled delivery for the next Tuesday. Everything came and the guys set it up quickly. One problem was the mattress they brought was the wrong one. When I contacted them there was no problem and they could switch it out the next day. But I still had a couch coming so we agreed that they would bring it then. So about a week went by and they called to schedule the delivery which was earlier than expected. "Good thing" but then they came to deliver - a different guy than the first time came and he just wanted to leave it without setting it up. I sent him away and called the office to let them know I bought a couch not a box. The gentleman who returned the call - this was at 9:30 PM and they were already closed - he apologized and had them come back and do the set up as I had expected. So even thought we had this hick up they made it right and I am a very happy camper. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I wish I had listened to the other 1 star reviews of this place before I tried buying anything from them. The owner lied to me multiple times and wasted my time. I ordered a bookshelf from them and was given a delivery window between 2-4 PM the following Saturday. Saturday comes and I had not received any confirmation, so I send a follow up email to Son to find out if they were still coming so I don't waste my whole day waiting at home. He told me he had to reschedule because "one of his trucks broke down" and could he come at the same time next week. I'm a pretty understanding person and so I agreed, although I was disappointed and had not made any plans for that day in anticipation of the delivery. The following Saturday, the bookcase was delivered, although my delivery window was changed when I, again, confirmed it. When I tried to put it together though, I quickly found that it was missing 1 of 3 metal frames to make it stand. I called the store and they told me to text Son's cellphone with a picture of the missing part. I never heard back from him all weekend, but gave him the benefit of the doubt because it was Easter weekend. Come Monday, I call the number and ask when I might be getting my part. Son said he never got my message and had no idea that I was missing a piece. I knew he was lying because his texts had a READ RECEIPT on them. What an idiot. He told me that it would be ready on Saturday of that week from 2-4 PM. Saturday came and went and no one came by to drop off my part. At this point, I had already wasted THREE SATURDAYS waiting for this stupid bookshelf. When I asked him what was going on, he said that "he had been sick" and that my part would get there no later than Tuesday and asked if he could drop it off when I get home from work. He backtracked and asked if he could ship it once I let him know that I don't get home from work until 7 PM. I consented, like a moron, and had him promise to send it when it got in expedited and with a tracking number. A whole week passes and I have no part, no communication, no tracking number, no response to my emails. All this time, I'm trying to find a solution and am calling the manufacturers in order to get the part because I felt like I had just lost $200 to these MFers. It was clear that the part wasn't coming and I had wasted 5 weeks of my life waiting. With some creativity, I manage to find the missing part, but had to pay extra for it through a different retailer. Randomly this last Friday, I get an email saying that Furniture Direct was coming to my house on Saturday to drop off my new desk. WTF. I never ordered a desk. I didn't respond as I had plans and, frankly, I don't care if I end up wasting their time. Lo and behold, they show up at my place while I wasn't home, calling and texting me that they had my part, which I no longer needed. THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF GIVING MY MONEY TO. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! read more

These guys are crooks. This place is absolutely horrible. I had a really bad experience here. I bought a couple of couches 4 months ago from these crooks. When they delivered the couches I paid them cash and gave them extra to remove my old couches. I tipped the driver $20 even though I don't have money like that because I was very appreciative. Before I even sat in them to try them out the driver left. One of my couches had a defect and wouldn't rock correctly. It was making a clicking noise as well on the left side. I contacted them immediately to tell them. It took 2 weeks for them to send someone out to check it out. They verified that the couch was defective and said they would exchange it with a new one. these couches are coming from China so beware of the quality because the quality is not good. They said it would take them two weeks to exchange it for a new couch because they had to order it. It's been three and a half months since then and I finally got my couch yesterday. I have called them over 20 times to see what was going on with my couch and every single time I spoke with them they lied to me. They were supposed to have my couch three and a half months ago. Appearantly they didn't receive the couch until 2 weeks ago. When they received the couch they asked me what day to deliver it and I said that I wasn't going to be home during the weekend and asked if they could deliver it on Tuesday. They said no problem that they would send a guy out on Tuesday. Meanwhile that Saturday I was out of town they called me and said they were on the way to my house with my couch. I reminded them that we had already scheduled a Time afternoon on the following Tuesday to deliver my couch and that I wasn't in town. On Tuesday no one ever called me or delivered my couch. So I called on Wednesday and they said that they would call me right back and that they were going to send a driver out that night. No one ever called me back and no driver ever came out that night. I called again on Thursday and ask them when they would be by. They said they would call me back and let me know if they could send a guy out there that day. They never called me back. I ended up calling them the next Tuesday because I was out of town again for the weekend. When I spoke to the person over the phone this time he told me that they already delivered the couch and exchanged it. It was really hard for me to maintain my composure this whole time because I really wanted to go punch these assholes in the face. Not only did they take 3 and 1/2 months to exchange a couch that was defective, they lied to me and bullshitted me the whole way. Apparently they delivered it to my house already and exchanged it lol wtf? So the dude was very apologetic and said that he was going to send a guy out there tomorrow which was a Wednesday. When the guy arrived at my house he had a receipt showing that they already had exchanged the couch which absolutely never happened. Then he went to go check out the couch and told me that there was nothing wrong with it and that he didn't want to exchange it. I told him that somebody had already came to my house three and a half months ago and told me that my couch was defective. He looked at me with a stupid look on his face and said oh okay. These people are crooks! You don't do business like this in America! If you're looking to get a couch that's not a piece of shit, I would suggest buying it from a real furniture store. These guys will waste your time and frustrate you beyond belief. Believe me when I tell you I was one step away from going into that store and knocking everybody out. I don't know how these guys are still in business. They have no communication between management employees and deliveries. This was one of the worst purchasing experiences I've ever had. I'm giving this company a mixed review. If you are young, on a budget, and don't mind sitting on a sofa that is mostly cotton wadding with little or no springs, these sofas are for you. I tried two, sight unseen since they don't have a show room so you can't try any of them out. They also all come in a box and must be assembled. They seem to be built pretty well, and look great, but they tend to be small and feel like you are sitting on a futon. For most of us, I'd say you are really taking your chances. The first one I tried looked great until I sat on it; very hard. The second one was leather and was better, but still it was too small and did not have much support. The price includes shipping and tax, but there is a 20% restock fee which is a lot. The employees are very nice. All of their furniture is made in China. read more
