Quick review for quick service! My friend bought his 6-person dining table from here so we decided to take a look. They have a great selection of furniture! You can walk in to see the showroom and they have more in catalogs. If you're looking for something specific, let them know and they can show you if they have it in the showroom or they can always show you in their catalogs. We were looking for a sectional couch with a chaise, an ottoman/coffee table, and a small dining table. We were lucky that they had all 3 that we were looking for and we were even luckier that they had the displays in the showroom! We ended up getting our sectional with a chaise which had a matching storage ottoman and our small 4-person dining table! They were able to deliver after a couple of days but we opted for a later day for when someone was home to receive the delivery. We loved that they delivered and set up for us as well! Pricing is very affordable! Delivery of course depends on where you live. I told my mom about this place and looks like she'll be ordering a sectional from them soon! read more

We were greeted upon entering, found the perfect fit, perfect price. My husband and I are in love with our sofa. They delivered this to a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator and even offered to take our old love seat. Furniture seemed like a good deal. Took about three weeks before fabric had holes in it. No problem. We had warranty coverage. Nope. No such thing. Turned out to be completely bogus. Ask all my friends I never leave a review but I just want to tell you that Ken and I think Dan and the rest of the crew. There are just amazing and I can't even describe what they were able to accomplish literally overnight two rooms of furniture, perfectly putting place delivered and no damage, etc. removed all the boxes and everything and in the very last minute we realized we needed boxsprings and they were able to add that to the order literallythat day and get it on the truck to us so our renters would be able to sleep and otherwise everything would be perfect. All the positive review  from different customers are absolutely true, when they say dany is very sweet and very accomodating with helping us with choosing the best furniture or even delivering items real quick , installing the furniture in your home is done by them. I have been his customer for more then 6 years and have been buying furniture from his store for quite a long time now, untill the purchase of a sofa attached in the pictures. It was sooo beautifull and goes well with our living room. Dany was so sweet and nice , negotiable with price and evrything. I was so pleased with the product. But within 2 months of purchase, this couch started making noise on the corner wen you sit,which is super unusual. Meanwhile I had guest come over who loved this couch and I recommended this place with trust. Guess what? There couch had same problem, but biggger problem as the screw broke within months of buying. Now comes the point , where u call them for help. Dany sends someone to my guest   home to check on their couch. He made so much of a scene saying there is nothing wrong with the couch , u shldnt sit like this , etc etc which is absurb and as he leaves, he even states " you can go to court or complain anywhere it doesnt matter". Super rude and very unprofessional. This is joke when ur couch is at ffault and we ask for help ,instead we get suggestion of how to sit on a couch etc. Now comes the point that even our couch is leading to the stage of breaking and we really want it replaced, but what we get in return from " dany" is a total reject with rudeness all over his face, he havent even seen the couch to be yelling at our face. The whole point is, you are good as long as your furniture is good. But when there is issue with the same furniture be it on the same day, you are doomed!! you will be welcomed with rudeness ,useless behaviour and unprofessional behaviour. We see for saving some money by buying from these places, ofcourse we wont except the material to be high qaulity as in living spaces or ashleys. But we do except minmum a non breaking or proper working kinda couch which is least exceptation from us as customers.  Now its your choice to whether buy cheap stuff from a place that wont provide minimum services to fix the problem and  treat you like a crap or to go choose good store to buy good furniture with great service while issue exists!! We bought our reclining couches, expandable dining table, and 3 bar stools here. Dany is the best guy to haggle with. No tax, free delivery, and setup. They were on time for both deliveries and put the couches together in about 10 minutes flat. The table took about 25 minutes and the bar stools and chairs were all pre-assembled. So far quality has been great, guests compliment us on how comfortable our couches are and how nicely our table/chairs/bar stools match our kitchen. Dany says everything comes with a 1-year warranty so if there are any problems to just call the # on the receipt and they will send somebody over. We couldn't find cheaper furniture anywhere else - prices are similar to IKEA but without the hassle of the IKEA crowds or having to delivery and assemble yourself. read more

Friends this place is a complete rip off. They have purposefully marked this business as closed online so people cannot post their reviews. The realty is that this store is very much open and they are running a phony business to cheat people. I had ordered a coaster bed from this store. After that the guy kept telling me the shipment is delayed because if issues at the port. And he kept telling me this for 6 months. After that I got fed up and I called the coater company my self to find out. I was shocked to find out that the bed was actually discontinued! The owner kept lying to me and kept using my money! I first went to Statements Furniture to price some items, but the excellent service from Danny made me really consider buying right away. Danny is friendly and efficient, I thought he was reading my mind. In less than a half hour, we agreed on a great set for my new apt. The best service I have ever gotten from a sales person! The building where they used to be located at is now empty and I didn't notice that they had moved across the street inside of a building where Payless Furniture is located at until I saw furniture in the back of the building. I am so happy I saw them otherwise I would've completely missed it. Right away when My mom, grandmother, and I walked in, the sales person who works there gave us the time and space to look around. While we were walking around the salesman asked if my grandmother wanted something to drink I thought that he was very considerate! My mom liked him right away especially after the bad experience we had next door where the sales rep that works there kept following us and not being very helpful about information that we could have gotten. The place that they are located at now is not very big, but their selection is very good with really good prices compared to all of the furniture stores I've seen in the neighborhood. Once wewas done looking around we sat down on a sofa we liked, the salesman let us know that the sofa we were sitting on is adjustable and we also had the option of changing the color. We couldn't decide so we kept looking around. As we were doing that we hardly noticed the salesman unless we actually needed him. He was very nice and informative. I would recommend anyone to check this place out. Also the sofa that we got is $100 less than what I saw at world furniture! I would have to agree to the two previous 5-star reviews of Statements! I tried looking around at other furniture stores and comparing prices but I always end up getting my pieces from Statements! They will always give me the best deals. They are very friendly and will not push you to buying anything. I actually ordered a set of sofa and ended up changing my mind on it twice and they agreed on delivering me a different set everytime. =) I paid around $1400, for a set of contemporary leather sofa (sofa + loveseat) and a 7 pc dining set. REALLY bad customer service We recently bought a sofa from this store. The faux leather on the sofa was wrinkled on delivery. Thought it was temporary due to transportation when it did not go away after 3 weeks, went to store and apoke with them to have it checked they said they will send someone in a couple days.. well after a week no response from them, so went back again. they said they will send someone in couple days. Well STILL NO SIGN.. so went back again.. and sure enough they promised again BUT NO ONE HAS YET HELPED US OUT.. STAY AWAY from this place.. really bad customer service. read more

Beware ! scam artist! The owner Ken a Vietnamese guy said his store been there more than 20 yrs . I spend more than 2 hours in his store and spend $3000 for two bedroom set . Well I am a budget shopper, and take the photo from their furniture book and asking the price from different stores, there more than 5-10 furniture stores in that same area just cross the street. So I order one 4pc bedroom set and another 2pc bedroom set in his store, and I am definitely show him the pic and show him the page on his book and explain to him what I want, and try out all the mattresses in his store and pick up two out of them for my order and confirm the size. SO ONE MORE TIME!!THERE IS NOTHING MISUNDERSTANDING BETWEEN ME AND KEN!! and after two hours shopping in his store , I start to call him uncle and tell him I will come back for my sofa and dining set with my family . Then, things getting changed, Ken write me the receipt use one bed product code instead of whole 4pcs(which I am thinking that is means 4pc at that time) and no itemized price only the full pirce ON PURPOSE .but I am not realized until the delivery guy in front of my house. When I wanna pay by my credit card , he offer me $100 dollar off if I pay with check, then when I wanna write him $1500 check then pay the rest $1500 when I get the furniture , his said better to pay him in full,Cuz of my trust and courtesy I write a $3000 check at front. Two weeks later(they have already cash my check week before) , deliver guy come to my house only with two bed and one night stand and two matress , and they told me that is all my order , I was so shocked at the moment and call back to KEN right away. Now he try to let keep the furniture and back to him store discuss with other items, But I do not take his advice this time , He mentioned receipt couple times then I realized his cheat on me in the very beginning. I have to defense and protect myself, so I reject to accept anything and back to his store with deliver truck and take photo to approve which I did not take anything from them. He ask me to pay $1095 for other items which I already pay in $3000, with a lot negotiation price down to $300. Ken is very familiar deal with this situation, he even told you "you can go to small claim court and he will win and you will lose".I am sure I am not the first one he is cheat on this way. That is why I write down everything here to warning the other shoppers. I went to over 14 different furniture stores, and landed on this little place just an exit north of ashley furniture. ASK FOR DANNY! He made the BEST deals with me on EVERYthing (and i had a blank canvas in my new apartment). I paid about $2000 for EVERYthing: a sofa/loveseat, coffee table/2end tables, dining table w/4chairs, tv entertainment stand, tv dresser and matching nightstand for the bedroom--and he delivered from fremont to the peninsula! He knew my style based on the few things i showed interest in. Danny was VERY proactive (in a good way-not pushy for anything at all) in looking through the catalogs with me and he actually found the things i liked before i did. He knew his stuff-quickly knowing which catalogs to look through, and showed me a lot of different things. He measured things in the store for me to compare size from catalog. Everything i bought was modern, espresso color, and the pieces were espresso wood. He even threw in a beautiful lamp as a gift to me when the coffee/end table arrived later than expected (3 weeks later). He only charged me $25 dollars for delivery!!! It was amazing. I paid half of it when I ordered everything in the store, and paid the other half when they were delivered. The two delivery guys are quick and efficient in getting the pieces into the rooms, placing them exactly where u want them. They came a total of 3 times in 2 weeks because Danny wanted to make sure I got everything I wanted quickly without having to wait for other pieces. I will ALWAYS go to him. And as for the store itself-dont judge a book by its cover--go inside, ask for Danny, and you will never go anywhere else again. I was so shocked at everything i got for such a great price. And they delivered everything as soon as it became available (the first half came withtin 4 days of my visit to the store, and the rest came in the next week or two. read more
