This shop is a lot larger than it looks from the outside! Upon entering, I was greeted by a very friendly man. We were just browsing and he allowed us to look around without being over-bearing. He didn't follow us around or try to over-explain whatever piece of furniture we were looking at, which was really nice. I like the freedom to look around! The prices on the furniture (the dining sets specifically) seemed pretty reasonable. Unfortunately they do not have a large selection of office chairs. I think I only saw 3-4 when we visited. Walked in on Saturday afternoon to look at some sectionals. A very friendly lady greeted us and saw us looking at sectionals. She made several suggestions. We told her we were buying a house and wouldn't get keys for a week. As we were looking at living room sets a man that I assume was the manager or owner greeted us. A few minutes later he came back and asked us if we needed help. I said "no thanks we're just looking". He replied with a very snarky "hmph". Five minutes later he walked up very aggressively and offered to "help us close on a deal". I said "no thanks, we don't have the space for it yet" and he said "oh so you're just killing time. We respect your time.", as he turned to walk away. Then he threw in "and we appreciate our time as well". Implying that our visit was a waste of his time because he wouldn't be closing a deal today. I called out to my bf and said "we're leaving right now!" In 7 days I would have returned to buy a 1200.00 sectional and possibly a 700.00 dining room set. I have been looking for a couch for a few months because it needs to be very specific for my smaller living room and the two Labradors I own." Mike was my salesperson and he showed us a lot of couches until he got a call, but at that time I found the perfect couch tucked in the back. It was a couple hundred more than other similar models, but a lot more spacious with a right hand Chase lounge, all while not exceeding my measurements. He also worked with me a little on delivery, So I ended up not going over my budget (Before the tax). When Lo and Derek arrived to deliver and install the couch they couldn't have been more helpful and professional. No damage to anything while moving it in and they made sure it was in the right position and completely secured and assembled before they even approached me to sign off on the delivery. If I could rate the delivery guys sperate, I would give them 5/5. Only docked a point from the store partly because I think I could have got a slightly better deal on the furniture, but primarily because Mike got a call after showing us a few couches and after that he didn't seem interested in trying to sell us anymore and it was only because of our sheer luck that we found the couch we wanted to buy. 0 STARS DO NOT BUY HERE. I purchased a couch here about a month ago. I don't have the time and energy to write everything that went wrong...but here is a synopsis. I called Jerry about 10 times and sent him multiple emails after I had picked out the couch I wanted. I left VMs and had messages passed an did not receive any communication. I should have quit there, unfortunately, I did not. I finally drove to the store to make the deal. I picked out my couch and told Jerry very specifically that I did not want the floor model. I told him that was basically a used couch and it already had damage on the leather. He told me that was not a problem and he would order a brand new one, likely to be delivered the following Thursday. That day came and went with no communication or delivery. So I called on Friday, asking where my couch is. Jerry says it is in and will be delivered Saturday before 1pm. 1pm comes and goes, I call, I get some BS response from Jerry saying "I don't know what's going on, I told them to load up your couch first and it would be an early delivery" 3pm comes and the delivery guys call me and inform me that they just finished up a delivery and will now go back to the store because they don't even have my couch on the truck. Long story short, they arrive at about 6pm. They unload the couch and surprise, it's the floor model. Used and damaged. I went into the store to speak with Jerry, and instead got the owner. Good thing, right? Wrong. He lied to me and told me he was just a salesman and I would have to talk to Jerry. Saying 'there's nothing I can do, you will have to go through your salesman." I finally got Jerry on the phone, Lord knows he would have never called me back, and he is blaming the entire situation on me for accepting the couch. They take no blame for never returning calls or emails, for delivering 5 hours past the delivery frame, for the countless fibs and lies, for the damaged couch, none of it. It is all my fault and there's nothing they can do to help. I kindly let them know that I have multiple friends furniture shopping right now and I insisted that they never come close to this place. And I do hope you heed this warning as well. It will be one of the worst buying experiences of your life. read more

Was looking for a couch and I was approached by what look like sales manager, he asked what I was looking for we agreed on sectional and he told me about financing options and I told him I applied to 1 and didn't get approved then he went on to just say if they denied I had no options with other companies then left me sitting on a couch and just kept walking past me, then the door rang for a new customer and he went to them and didn't say anything else to me about options or nothing. Keep in mind he never helped me apply or gave me info to Apply for financing yet, then I saw a guy assembling furniture he was super nice and walked with me and gave me options. I asked about layaway and he was really helpful! He asked the manager a question and the manager answer and walked off from me. He wasn't interested in helping me or selling merchandise it seemed, it needs new management maybe or new floor salesmen, as a person with sales background you need to help people in order and I would try getting people taken care of. Unfortunately I found an amazing couch here I would love to buy, but I don't see anyone being able to get me as far as purchasing it. read more

This place is AWFUL! I went down here to buy a dinette set since I used to live in the area and had bought furniture at a place next door (which is no longer open). We met with Jerry who was very friendly. We found a set we liked and agreed on a Saturday delivery next week. I called Monday to let him know that some things had come up and ask if we could move it to Friday of next week. He told me no problem. Come Friday, they never called despite being scheduled to deliver furniture between 2-5. My fiance had to call them to find out that they "just got the piece in that Friday and could not deliver until Saturday". Very unprofessional. At first, they said they could deliver it Sunday since Saturday did not work (I told them this back on Monday), but I wanted a refund instead. All of a sudden, they were able to deliver it Friday again as originally promised. Jerry told me, "Oh, he's putting the final piece on the furniture now and is on his way". I never got a number for the driver in case they were closed before he arrived. When my fiance called back to ask for a number, they told her to wait until he shows up and that "they would not be closing early today". At this point, it's 6 PM and they close on 7 PM. I just don't trust them anymore. I drove down from North Scottsdale to go to the store in case the delivery guy never showed up. My fiance finally called me to say he had arrived and was just now assembling the furniture in our place. That doesn't match what Jerry told us. All in all, very unprofessional. And to top it off, the table has a small nick on it from when he was putting it together. We even had to polish the table ourselves (it looks much better than what they dropped off now that we polished it). I will never do business with Jerry or this company again. Been coming here often on for 20 years but not anymore. I talked to Michael about getting a short queen mattress built and he stated it would take 10 days to 14 days. When I pick the mattress up and took it home it was absolutely horrible. Springs were nonexistent boxsprings at rips from transportingNo when I when I picked it up at already had rips. I feel this Business took advantage of a good person and my hard-earned money. Personally, it was a horrible experience and I wish I didn't have to say that. This business did me wrong and I feel it necessary to warn others. I highly encourage anyone to shop elsewhere. Once they have your money, you are screwed for lack of better words! If there's any issues with the product, delivery etc. their defense will be "all sales final". August 11, 2020, I was in and out of Furniture Factory in less than 30 minutes, salesman Michael sold me the product, wrote up the order form, processed my credit card for $863.83 and was nice as can be! They got my money! Fast forward to October, it is my belief Furniture Factory screens their phone calls as each time I called during business hours to check the status of my order I couldn't get anyone to picked up or the phone would pick up and disconnect! Secondly, after making several in person visits to check the status of my order, I was lied to each time. Michael told me he would check and call me back; he NEVER returned a call! The first story Michael told me, my item was on the truck and they would call me as soon as it arrived, perfect exactly what I wanted to hear!  Nearly 3 weeks went by and no phone call, I made attempts to call with no answer and I made another in person visit this time Michael's story was to blame the "pandemic", and that my item wasn't on the truck and it's on backorder with no delivery date in site. Completely unacceptable as this couch/loveseat combo was purchased as an anniversary gift and I must have by mid-October. I offered Michael several options that we could have easily resolved the issue all of which Michael said to me, "No" that's not how it works, even smirked in my face. He stated he would speak with "the manager" and get back to me, to his credit he actually did call me back at 5pm that same day to tell me that "I was impossible to deal with and he's done with me and hung up on me!" This was a less than one minute phone conversation! Yes, Michael hung up on me! What reputable business does that? Michael from Furniture Factory did! Since he stated he was done with me, he left me no options but to proceed with filing a claim with CHASE credit card. Michael provided a false written statement to CHASE credit card stating this was a "custom order being made for me" completely FALSE! Then told CHASE the item was shipped to agreed location, on time. Again, FALSE! Lastly, interestingly enough Michael is apparently the manager of Furniture Factory. Aprox, three days after I filed a claim with CHASE Michael called me 3 times the same day and wanted to speak with me, CHASE advised me discontinue any communications with Merchant as they would be handling matter. What I've learned, you can buy the same Made by Ashley furniture from Big Lots for $170.73 less! Which is exactly what I did! Big Lots happily took my $693.10, loaded up both items couch, and loveseat and the Anniversary gift was delivered on October 7, 2020. I only wish I'd read the honest reviews before ever stepping foot in Furniture Factory on August 11, 2020! Any so-called Manger that can bold face lie to a Customer as well as a credit card company is not worth any of your business. read more

Jerry is very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Your better off going some where else. I took me 2 months to get all my furniture. Once you sign the contract they don't care how long it takes to get it to you because there is no refunds. They also don't mention that to you. Jerry was very rude on the phone when I tryed contracting him about my items. My bedroom set had scratches and sings on it and there is nothing they will do about it because like I said once you give them the money they don't care as it is no refunds. Anyone you talk with to resolve the situation tells you the same thing. His own works tell you about how much of a crook he and his company are. To whom it may concern,       My wife and me purchased a table with four chairs and a bench with the intention of getting a sturdy table that would accommodate my families needs. What we received was a "display" model with obvious wear that would indicate such, after only a couple weeks in my home it showed. The bench and the "sturdy" table as marketed by Jerry started to show signs of unwarranted wear which would indicate a display model being distributed to me upon purchase not the promised new table. The table and chairs were preassembled no boxes or assembly done what so ever to indicate brand new furniture was purchased. I could have chosen any furniture store to purchase from but chose Furniture Factory as my destination for my business, the lacks and time that is being exhibited to fix, exchange or refund the purchased equipment does not indicate that Furniture Factory appreciates their customers business. Word of mouth promotions for a business is an underestimated expression especially for local businesses, that look to bring in new customers not drive then away. I have contacted Jerry the manager at the previously mentioned establishment and have sent pictures of my cracked bench to be meet with "I will take care of it" but have not received a follow up or courtesy call on the status of what he will do to make it right. I am paying over $1,000 on a table that was retailed at $500 due to "taxes, delivery and other charges which can be called into question as well. Jerry's mockery and non concern when customers called about their needs with their furniture as witnessed by myself and wife seemed playful at first but reflection on my current situation it seems more troubling, someone that does not appreciate customer satisfaction should not be running a store, as an owner I would find this very troubling as I would want to bring in customers and keep them and not treat them as a quick money grab. Also when issues arise act with the urgency as if it was your furniture, and I'm sure if the purchase was your's you would want quality and would want things right. With that being said I would like to extend this opportunity to Furniture Factory to make things right whether it be an exchange or refund and to do the right thing in this particular circumstance. read more

My boyfriend and I fell in love with a sectional/chaise here and had it delivered to our apartment. The delivery men arrived two hours later than the window they originally provided, which ended up being about 8:30 PM. After they brought in the couch, we realized that the chaise was actually hooked up to the left side of the couch rather than the right (which is how it was shown on the display floor). When we told the delivery men this, they angrily insisted that it was the same as the floor model (it's not). Since it was late and we had to be up again within a few hours, I told them it was fine and I would call tomorrow. When I did call the next morning, I was told that since I accepted the couch, and that it was already in my apartment, it was unlikely that they would switch it out. However, he stated he would call me back after asking someone else. He was about to get off the phone without even asking for a callback number, which I provided, and I never received a response. Not the biggest deal in the world, but it was an inconvenience to receive something other than expected in an already small apartment. Plus, the delivery men were surprisingly rude. I really hate writing bad reviews, but I need to for this place. I honestly wouldn't trust any of the good reviews here because my experience here makes me sure they'll never be able to make up for it. This happened over a year ago, I was very naive and I had just gotten my first apartment so I didn't know who to trust. I came here already knowing what I wanted and I applied with the loan company they are with. I was working with Jerry because he was the only salesman there. I didn't feel comfortable with him the minute I met him but I wanted to buy my furniture already so I just ignored my gut. He was immediately too personal and telling me all of his life problems and I don't like stuff like that (I know it seems like I'm insensitive because of this but I serious mean too personal. Like he told about he's cheating wives too personal.) but I was polite and gave responses when needed. I was approved for the loan but they weren't going to pay furniture factory until my stuff was delivered. Jerry immediately tried to talk me into telling them that it was being delivered that day because he wanted to make his sale and he was breathing over my neck when they called me to make sure I did whaat he asked. I was stupid and did what he wanted because I wanted this to be over with. My furniture came two weeks later than I was originally told and every time I called, Jerry gave me some bullshit story that it was their California warehouse distribution place's fault, not his and when my delivery was finally there, they broke the dining table and had to return it to order another one and my coffee table never showed up. I called to ask where it was and Jerry told me he hadn't bothered to put the order in because he forgot. My coffee table was over a month late and the second dining table showed up before my damn coffee table. The reason the coffee table was late was because I paid out of pocket for it so it didn't matter to them when it was delivered. I really advise you not to go here. I found so many other stores that would've been much cheaper, easier and less car salesmen-like. Also, the furniture I bought here is already wearing down after only a year and I tried taking care of it but it's no use. The product here is not worth the price. read more

I made the mistake of buying furniture from this store. I bought a couch, love seat, mattress and dining table set. The quality of products were poor and they sent me the store model i saw. When I asked why they sent the store model instead of new items, sales person Jerry told that they did send new items. When I went to the store again the items I purchased were not there in the store. When I said that I wanted to return the items he mentioned that since I accepted the items i cannot return. Within one year of minimal use the couch started wearing out and the mattress started sagging. When I contacted the store, jerry asked me to get the items to verify. I got the mattress to the store. He said he will contact the manufacturer to get a replacement mattress with prorated warranty. After few days he asked me to pay $180 to get a replacement mattress. The original mattress was $600. I contacted the manufacturer and they wanted the claim number, which Jerry was not ready to give. After lot of back and forth with Jerry and the manufacturer i paid $180 to get a new mattress. The new mattress was a different model and reeked chemical smell. When I asked jerry that I wanted to talk to his superior he mentioned that his store owner will call me. It's been more than a year and I haven't got a call. Don't fall for the initial sweet talk, get your money's worth by shopping at some place where they sell quality products. I ordered a sectional on Nov 29 and they told me the latest my couch will arrive would be Dec 3. After not receiving a phone call or couch by then I called myself to check the status. They then proceeded to tell me my couch wouldn't arrive until the 19th of Dec. For whatever reason only half my couch came in on the 11th of Dec. They then told me the rest would come in at the later date. Today is the 21st of Dec. and I decided to call again to check the status of the other half of my couch. The manager told me that now my couch wouldn't come in until after Christmas. When asked why is it still being pushed back he told me he doesn't know but will call the company and see if he could push it through sooner. I then asked for the manager to call me back once he contacted the manufacturer. Although he said he would he failed to do so. I will never order from this company again due to their lack of communication and for not even apologizing for this mishap! read more
