I had already told them I was a disabled senior citizen and couldn't move this large mirror plus it's BROKEN, which is dangerous. Two weeks later I am still waiting for overstock to remove this broken dangerous mirror from my place, they care about getting your money but not about the customer, there delivery time is long and drawn out for furniture and large items. If these things are delivered broken or damaged they don't care because it's your problem.

This was a 16 week process that resulted in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I'm still stuck with 6 floor model chairs and no dining room table, I even offered to pay a re-stock fee to return the unused chairs. Catrina would not budge, it's was all about the enormous of money she gouged from this Veteran for 6 'overpriced' floor model custom chairs.

We sent it back on the truck it delivered from contacted Great Blue, and returned it on the spot. Lee was to start a new couch right away and get it shipped out asap. I didn't hear from Great Blue for months, so I text Lee to see if the couch was on it's way and he informed me he had "dropped the ball" and forgot to put the couch into production. Shocking that any business could do as poorly as Great Blue Heron did, but they win 1st prize with my family. Long story short, they could not even get the specific size of throw pillows correct. I received the wrong size and when I told Lee, he spout texted the dimensions I had chosen back at me and they were correct. Problem was the pillows I received were not the size I ordered. He told me to pack them up and send them back. Just a pathetic lack of service from this place. The cherry on top was that my refund for the couch had been "in the mail" for 3 weeks, texting again and again to the same response..."in the mail and we can send another if you don't get it!" I asked that my refund be credited BACK TO MY CREDIT CARD that had been charged almost 20K now 2 months shy of a year after placing the original order. But, they refused to credit my account. I finally had to go through my credit card company to get the charges removed for a couch I never received. I would sit on the floor before I would ever do business with these inept idiots again. However, when she arrived she seemed, to put it nicely, unfriendly and aloof. I showed her around. We talked about what was on my wishlist and I gave her a budget. She offered no on the spot ideas, and was relatively quiet. She took photos, told me that she had a big project wrapping up in July and wouldn't be able to get to me until then. I said that was fine but I was really looking forward to her help. Y'all, I never heard from her again. So disappointed. I will likely still shop there myself, but it's unfortunate that this business didn't want my project, or apparently my budget.

On October 10, 2022, the chair stuck in the recline position and would not go down. What followed was a five-week experience with Decorum that was at the least frustrating, and at the most, condescending. Ultimately, the chair, which was under warranty from Fairfield, was repaired and returned to us on November 18. I won't go into all of the detail of the back and forth with Decorum but the main point is this: we were made to feel like the enemy. There was never an expression of regret for th failure of this product nor a call from management to say we're sorry this happened. We initiated almost all communication, having to persist to find out when the chair would be repaired and returned. In fact, it felt like Decorum was mad at us for having this problem. If you want to shop for upscale home furnishings, Decorum is your store. If you want to deal with people who are genuine and who make you feel they care about your business, go elsewhere. In fact, the store staff could take lessons from their delivery team; they were courteous, good-humored and a pleasure to meet. Our greatest hope is that the Fairfield recliner does not break down again, or we will be back to square one with Decorum.
