I was pleased with the quality of the bookshelf I ordered when it finally arrived, the price was reasonable, and the delivery guys were great, but the purchase experience was ruined by the staff. I was originally told that it might arrive within 3 weeks....then that it would be here within the usual six week delivery window....then that I would certainly have it in a few days because it was on its way....then that they would call me back because they didn't know why it wasn't here yet (didn't get a call back)...then that it would surely be in my home by the time of my family reunion because it was in the truck at the local warehouse....and then it arrived 9 weeks and 4 days after my order date, which was 4 days late for my big family event. Bad quality couches. If you want furniture that lasts, don't shop here. They only cover your couch frame for one year, otherwise you are out of luck and out of pocket on your own for frame repair. We paid for an additional warranty that they now told us only protects the fabric...not sure what good fabric protection is if the frame is broken. read more

Warning on this set or any clearance items from this store. I Purchased Anderson 6 piece bedroom set on clearance, for $3200.00. Salesman assured me the brand name was reputable and good quality furniture and never had problems with the set. The only flaw at the time I purchased the set was a small chip on top of the dresser. I completely checked the whole set to make sure everything else was in good condition. 10 months later the wooden side rails on the bed began to split front and back of the both rails which support the bed, leaving the bed unsafe to sleep on- fear weight on the bed could collapse. One of the night stands is also splitting on the top. I am very disappointed in this set which they no longer carry in the store. I spoke to the store manager who was not willing to replace the rails(since it was a clearance item) or compensate me, again I was assured it was good quality, which it's not and $3200.00 at half price is still a lot of money for the bad quality which at full price this would be a rip off. I never expected for the set to do this even at a clearance price when everything appeared to look ok and I was assured its quality. No follow up by salesman or management with updates. Was told the damaged piece would be repaired and delivered two weeks ago. Great selection but staff seems untrained and while young, their customer service skills are lacking. I shouldn't have to keep walking back to the front to ask for help, and when I worked at a furniture store we stayed with a customer offering them service and support and were by their side right up until the sale was done (that is how commission is earned isn't it?). While I was tempted to try to contact the Regional Manager I decided to drop it. After reading my review, Stephanie the Regional Mgr. contacted me. She wanted the details of my experience and apologized several times. I mentioned that I had dealt with Scott at the Bedroom/Dinning room store around the corner, she informed me he was being promoted to the Manager of the store in question. We went into Furniture Row Saturday, 6/17, to purchase furniture for a rental. We walked around for over 30 minutes and not one single sales rep asked us if we needed any help. There was a sales woman walking around speaking to other customers, a sales guy riding around on a scooter asking people, a woman at the register just standing there...nothing. It actually became a mission between my husband and I. We went in the vicinity of the sales woman and were talking about sofas in front of her to see if she would ask us if she could help...she did not. So, we left and went to Cherry Creek and were able to find a salesperson who helped us layout and order everything. I would also like to point out, the quality of the furniture is not great and we were not impressed with pricing at all. We did not spend much more by going to the store in Cherry Creek, had a much more helpful, pleasant experience and we were even offered coffee lol. So, save your time, patience and quality by just skip the stop at Furniture Row. read more

I have purchased several items here in the past... maybe one a year. Last time i went and was intererested in couch but wanted to compare one other place.. Manager said to but and they could refund if i changed my mind. I changed my mind and went in and told them to cancel.. They said no problem but it was never cancelled and i started getting bills. Went back and they tried to hard sell on something else. then the manager could not be found. He was hiding. On top of that the price is over twice as much as American. Entered this store on Fri pm and was approached by the sales lady, who was very helpful but clearly new to the job. Since the store mgr. was there as well I figured he would help her out if necessary. In her defense she did ask some questions, but got little to no help. There were no other shoppers that night so it wasn't like the place was packed. Long story short, she said they had the item I wanted in the back of the store, but wouldn't be able to have it ready for me until Monday. Arrived at the delivery dock on Monday and an employee (Cody) was there to help with loading the item. After checking the invoice he apologized by saying that my item would not arrive until 3pm that afternoon. Then Cody mentioned the color was listed on the invoice as "Sand" and I corrected him by telling him the one I picked out was a dark brown. 1. Why can't Furniture Row in Lakewood train their staff adequately, 2. and the store mgr. that night had ample time to check to verify that the invoice had been filled out correctly, plus suggest I call before driving over to pick up my item but didn't seem interested in doing any of this. Cody saved the day for me however. He was experienced, efficient, friendly and extremely helpful. What could have been a truly bad experience turned out with me driving home, with my item and AHEAD of the rush hour!! P.S. It might be a better idea to shop there during the day, but be prepared. read more

Came out here looking for some bedroom furniture. Our first interaction with Scott was very casual and comfortable like an old friend greeting you to their home. He let us walk around and explore on our own but was always close when we had a question. Excellent customer service and knowledge of the furniture prices and deals available for financing. After he helped us with our bedroom selection we found an awesome deal on a kitchen table/bar stool combo we had looked at online. This set was better quality and better priced than what we had originally viewed online. Scott showed us some different stool options and we felt great being able to customize our furniture. Scott was so great he got me set up with a line of credit explained the partnership that they have with Denver Mattress and even helped me get faster service when visiting Denver Mattress where we had an excellent experience with Kevin. We also were helped by John when we returned to the store again knowledgeable helpful and overall excellent customer service. My daughter purchased furniture under my name. I called furniture row a few days after furniture was delivered asking them to return the furniture that the purchase was not going to work out. I paid the 65.00 fee for the return and scheduled for pick up. Come to find out the salesman cancelled the return and never notified me. I do not recommend furniture row. I recently ordered a few desks for the company that I work for from the Furniture Row located in Colorado Springs. Initially there was a delay in the delivery however we were okay with waiting for a few weeks. On delivery day, one of two desks were assembled and delivered. The second desk had been damaged so they told us it would take a week or two to have it re-delivered. That wasn't a problem. Two weeks later I called to get a date for the delivery and was told that it wouldn't be delivered for two more weeks as there was only one delivery crew and they were stretched thin. I was livid as we had executives scheduled to visit the next week...AND our office is less than 2 miles from the store! I called the store and spoke with Jesus. He was courteous, empathetic, professional, and was able to get the desk assembled and delivered the very next day. We purchase ALL of our office furniture from this store and will continue to do so thanks to Jesus. read more

If I could give them a zero stars rating I would. I had a great experience when I initially purchased the couch in September 2021. When it was delivered it was missing a Cushion. I called the store and they were kind in offering a cushion off of one of the floor models. When we brought it home it did not match so they told us they would order one for us and that it would be here in December...... well that's when it all went down hill. I called to see if they had it the beginning of December and they said they had no record of it being ordered!!!! Ugh!! It's now almost March 2022 and after SEVERAL calls they always seem to not know what I'm talking about or tell me there was no order placed. Seriously what is going on in this place?! So my friend helped me pick up the sofa from here - we did not have it delivered. And perhaps that's key to giving it a 4-star review. I noticed most of the reviews that were 1 & 2 stars were due to delivery malfunctions and poor customer service. But when you pick up the sofa yourself, it's a pretty hiccup-free experience. I like Sofa Mart because they have an extensive clearance section. It's absolutely perfect for people who have just moved to the area and are renting an apartment. You want something cheap enough that you won't have to put it into a moving truck again whenever you find your forever home, but is functional for the time being. I purchased a futon here, we've had it for about a year and it hasn't broken or anything. And it was only $100. Most people have said it's comfortable to sleep on, only one person said it wasn't. read more

I really needed a sofa under $400. I knew I wasn't going to be getting the nicest sofa out there, but I wanted to get something that was a couple of steps above a futon and that would last a couple of years while I save up for a nicer one. So I checked out both AFW and Sofa Mart. I went to this location on my lunch break last Monday. and saw a decent, sage green microfiber sofa. It was already marked down $100 because it was a discontinued/clearance design. When I mentioned that AFW's delivery fee was $30 less, Hannah, the store manager said she'd match it. I told her I'd be back on Friday to make my purchase. In the days between, I saw that AFW had a similar sofa for $50 less. I printed out the information, brought it with me on Friday and asked Hannah if she could match the price. She looked into it and said she could. What made it even better is they were able to deliver it the next morning. While the merchandise may not be the highest quality furniture out there, it's definitely worth the amount I spent and then some. Additionally, I received wonderful customer service in the showroom and by the delivery crew. I would definitely return or suggest them to a friend for a moderately priced sofa. read more

I came in to browse some new couches for my home as we are redoing our living room. I was helped out by Brad and he made me feel very uncomfortable. He made a few remarks that as a female shopper made me regret choosing this store to come in to. Everyone else working there that I did talk to even for a second were much more pleasant. Don't trust Furniture Row and Great White Bottling (warranty company). One year ago we decided to purchase a brand new Dining Room Set, Master Bedroom Set, Couch and Ottoman, coffee table and end table on Furniture Row. The purchase went fine, however we are having issues with the furniture after just one year, since it has completely fallen apart. The wood plank that supports the couch structure has broken apart. Me and my husband we are regular size people so no reason for that to happen besides bad quality components. The worse part in all of this is that we were convinced by the vendors to purchase the lifetime warranty when we bought all my furniture from Furniture Row. If you are reading this, DO NOT SPEND ANY EXTRA CENT WITH FURNITURE ROW LIFETIME WARRANTY, IT IS A SCAM! We called their customer support about this and we were transfer to this Company called Great White Bottling - we had to explain the damage and send pictures and we were told that in 7 days we would get an answer. After 10 days without any answer, we sent another email and they answered it claiming that they had answered before (a lie) and that the warranty coverage "does not include broken wood/frame issues on upholstered furniture". Why the hell did we payed pay extra for this warranty then? The sellers will not tell you this when you purchase your furniture, they will come up with this pretty story of how all your furniture will be covered for a lifetime and you can just exchange it in case anything happens. IT'S A SCAM!!! I'm never buying anything from this store again. Bad quality furniture, fake warranty, they just want to rip you off until your last cent!!! Terrible customer support! stick with American furniture. This company is a low-end mass retailer. we spent over $2000 on a new Sealy mattress. got it home, and for three days we woke up with backaches. (they told us this was a top of the line soft foam and coil model- we have been sleeping on a 4" topper for years and no issues - they said this mattress was soft like a foam topper). I called them to tell them I wanted it changed out. they have 120-day satisfaction guarantee where they will replace or refund your money. got some salesperson that said we had to sleep on it for 30 days before we could return because it needed "breaking in." Hmmm i get that with non-foarm mattresses, but foam is not subject to that. Went back and forth for a while and, after threatening to do a chargeback the guy passed me off to the manager. He also tried to convince me to keep it for a month. Same issue, had to threaten a chargeback. long story short, we went in and changed it out for a cheap $800 foam mattress which will take 2 weeks to deliver (and they added delivery charges). so we threw the topper on the expensive sealy and, lo and behold, no more backaches!! Waiting to see if the new mattress will be better. if not, sticking with foam toppers and resonalbly priced foam mattresses. In any event, will NEVER shop at furniture row again!! read more

UPDATE: Manager reached out and my table is now being delivered before Christmas. Very excited and happy with him going above and beyond to accommodate!!!!! Thank you Scott usually go to the bigger warehouse in Denver but once we moved to Lakewood and needed new dining room furniture we opted to check out this location. The dining area is nice and had multiple options and we found a table and chairs that we love. Unfortunately that was two weeks ago and we still don't have our furniture. I had it scheduled for a Saturday delivery after purchasing. I got a call and was told the chairs were available but the table was not ready so they could do two deliveries or just move my delivery to the following week. I didn't want to have to wait around two separate days so I opted to wait and was told I would get a call Monday. Today is Thursday and no call has been made. I called up the store myself and the manager informed me the table was ready but that the furniture would not be delivered until Thursday NEXT WEEK at the earliest. So at this point I won't be receiving my furniture until 3 weeks after purchasing, after Christmas after telling the sales girl we didn't care what day it came as long as it was before Christmas so we would have it for Christmas dinner. The irony is I found a similar table on wayfair but they said delivery would be four weeks and I didn't want to wait that long. I hope my table and chairs come without damage and that the delivery goes smoothly since the purchase process has been disappointing. When I called I was informed that they only have 1 yr warranty and there's nothing they could do. I would have to contact a contractor to fix or even look at the issue. Following my review of 5/13/20, the store offered to deliver a replacement chair at no charge. However, I had already repaired the chair on my own. Of the 8 bolts that fasten the back to the seat, one was completely out, the others were all loose, and several had the Allen heads stripped so they couldn't be tightened. Whoever assembled the chair did a terrible job (perhaps used the wrong size Allen wrench). The store will reimburse me for the bolts and Allen wrench I bought; but did not seem interested in tracking the assembly problem. read more

I had previously ordered and sent back 2 recliners from LaZBoy which had such shoddy workmanship, I would have been embarrassed to have them in my house. I went into Sofa Mart (because my husband got his favorite leather recliner there about 10 years ago) and immediately found the perfect recliner from Flexsteel, well-made and comfortable. I picked it up myself which was an easy process. However, the reason I can't give more than 3 stars is that my husband spent 20 minutes in the store and no one offered to help him. Also, no one called me to say that my chair was in. I had to call the store twice. And when I went to pick it up, the salesman never even thanked me for my purchase. They definitely need to upgrade their customer service. read more

Going into Sofa Mart, my expectations were low. I was thinking a smaller version of AFW, another Colorado furniture sh#thole. Sofa Mart is nothing like AFW. Its worse. The furniture styles range unoffensive to OMG-I-Can't-Believe-Someone-Can-Be-So-Tacky-But-They-Are. I won't go into detail about the designs, because that isn't necessarily why Sofa Mart is the pits. Sofa Mart sucks because they are trying to convince you that a turd sandwich is a diamond ring. Their showroom furniture is rickety - enough to suggest that, yes, this furniture will be in a landfill in a couple of years. Not even the cheapest of IKEA furniture is this embarassingly rickety.
