They took the time to sit down with me, listen, explain, and truly understand what happened from my perspective. What stood out the most is that they weren't defensive, dismissive, or focused on money--they were compassionate and genuinely concerned about Maggie's well-being. They acknowledged the seriousness of the situation, and instead of distancing themselves, they leaned in. They made it clear that they care and are willing to work with me however they can to support Maggie moving forward. She did exactly what I asked her to do for the week - walk them every morning for a mile and come home and put them in their kennels for the day. One of my girls snuck out the front door as soon as she opened it one morning and she ran away.
