The sudden increase of positive reviews are due to the below message sent to many of the Fury players and parents. We received this from Fury. This seems to be questionable. We did not have a good experience. The leadership is poor. There were many hiring and firing of coaches while in season. Owner seemed to be motivated only by personal monetary growth and interests ONLY in his own daughters teams. Owner lacks interpersonal social skills dealing with parents and customer service issues. Highly suggest one to do their homework and ask alot of questions. read more

I as a player, would never recommend this club. I only say this because Coach Erik and Mrs Jessica knew I was going through depression. They knew I wanted to kill myself. the coach, Tierra Brown told me on "Gameday" after I apologized for my 'rude attitude' had the audacity to tell me "I don't think you're emotionally ready for volleyball." Then she asked when I last saw my "therapist" when I told them they believed the coach. The coach who wasn't at fury for 3 years like I was, the coach who wasn't the head of our team. I will not allow someone else go through what I went through here. Mental health matters, and i should've never been shut down for telling the truth. I had so much high hopes for you Erik. I simply hope you have the best of time with your skillz team as a club. Have a good day, and I don't suggest coming here if you wanna be told you're a liar. read more

We have been going just under a year to their Skillz league and played on a local team here. I asked my daughter for the rating she would give since she's the actual player, said she would rate is a 4.5 out of 5. The only issue we had was that we had a lot of coach turnover, (3 main ones in all) but the one we got before our first tournament (and stayed the longest) was wonderful. My daughter learned a lot from her; she was very kind and patient with the kids & she enjoyed her coaching (she's gone as of recent though). she really wanted to keep going here as to stay with that same coach so not sure of the plan for this coming season. We have not had the bad interactions with coaches/owner as others so I cannot speak for other experiences, but we never heard a crossword, expect from other parents...This was our first indoor VB club so did not have much to compare it to. In regards or asking for reviews, I have had several businesses ask me to rate them after visiting & the offered incentives to do so...(I waited to post this until after the offer expired to avoid that conflict though I wouldn't let that affect a review)..... just saying it seems common, this is nothing new. read more

After 3 years of participating in this club, I am incredibly disappointed. I have watched my daughter go from loving the game of volleyball, to coming home in tears for the way she was treated. She finally had enough so she quit a week before AAU's this year. She had an extremely fantastic coach (Dani) last year who pushed her in a positive way...this year, she had 5 different coaches who knew virtually nothing about the game. It got to be so bad that the 17's girls coached themselves most of the time. The owner, Erik, said that my girl and my family were "fired" from the club. I had posted my disappointment on my personal social media site and he threatened to contact any club within a 40 mile radius about my daughter and threatened to go to my boss about my social media post if I didn't take it down within a 24 hour period. I am sure that the owner, Erik, will come back at me and my daughter, slander her and myself after I post this. He is a very mean, spiteful person who says his club is Christian based, but it's anything but that!!! Seriously consider going to another club if you want your daughter to have a positive athletic experience...go to a club that will uplift your daughters not break them down. Side bar: he also posted on the 16's team a contest for a 5 star review with google and yelp and will give a monetary donation to the top three reviews. Great club! Awesome place to learn and compete! Erik is a fantastic coach and takes the time to patiently teach the girls. We've been actively part of the National teams for 3 years, and hope to continue in the future. Great place to ready your child for school volleyball! read more

So disappointed in this club! The worst experience we have had at any club/travel organization. I have never seen my daughter as down on herself or as miserable as she was at this club. The only positive she has for this organization is the coach that does the strength training was supportive and helped her improve in that area. Appended: After a brutal month plus of dealing with the owner of this organization on everything but the actual reason we left the organization (as he has still yet to ask), all I can say is my daughter was fair in her assessment of how negative feedback would be received and that she made the right decision. As a customer, I have never been treated the way I have been in this owner's non-public communications. Every communication is condescending, belligerent and unprofessional. Each one includes an new set of snide comments and accusations about myself and/or my daughter as well as threats meant to intimidate me. Apparently, as an unhappy customer if I post a review, I am plotting the destruction of his reputation and company. If I dispute a charge outside my contract, I have a master plan for not paying the organization....even when I send funds via registered mail. It amazes me that a business owner thinks it is okay to act in this manner. Definitely not the leadership skills I want to see in someone that is in a service business catering to kids... read more
