Came on a Wednesday night for dinner. The menu provide was a pre fix option. The location is extremely spacious with several private rooms ideal for birthdays. The service and staff are attentive and friendly. The food was ok. I was told their lunch special is even better. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. The rib eye, crab cake and braised short rib were good. If you don't want to go all the way to Williamsburg their location in bay ridge is a great option.

Lunch special- avocado, salmon and yellow challenge scallion roll plus the tuna cracker. I also had a mushroom soup (no photo sorry)

I just LOVE Fushimi. Not only one of my favorite Japanese restaurants but actually one of my favorite in general. The food quality and presentation are absolutely amazing. The service is sometimes a bit slow but it's well worth the wait for the food. I always order from there and I also eat there and one of my favorite things. Is that lunch special for $25 it is the best deal ever.

Came back again, and everything was fantastic. The sushi was fresh, the espresso martini didn't disappoint, and the uni was fresh and delicious. Service was impeccable-- they seated us immediately on a Friday night, even though the restaurant was packed. Our waiter was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The sake was great too, with a perfect recommendation. Highly recommend this spot for great sushi and top-notch service!

Food: Sushi was excellent quality and delicious here. We ordered the Chef's Sushi and Sashimi set ($59). The sushi overall seemed a bit overpriced, but the quality is there. The calamari was freshly made and served hot but seemed a bit fishy. Not the best place to order calamari. Service: Service was exceptional! Staff was very friendly and attentive. They come by often to check if everything is okay throughout the whole meal. Ambiance: This place has a trendy vibe. It's good for small and large groups. The ambiance is great, and seating is comfortable.

We go to the Bayridge location often for their lunch special. My family enjoys the attentative services and the food is good. The decor of the restaurant is impressive and very spacious. Today they were doing the Halloween decorations. This is our usual spot for lunch. The lunch portion size was small for my son. However, it was a good amount for myself. Great ambiance and vibe.

Duck salad. Other than having to worry about checking on little tiny bones this was very tasty. See other pic with bones

Overall just disappointing we won't be back. Trying to enter was difficult as my mother in law could not climb the stairs and had to squeeze between a BMW and a Mercedes which were blocking the handicapped access ramp. I told the staff who did not seem to care and on the way out a rolls Royce was blocking the ramp all by itself. See pictures. They obviously could care less about people with disabilities. Place is a scene that is for sure. People dressed to the 9's Food was ok. Some just ok and some excellent Duck salad tasted amazing if it was not for tiny bones in the salad it would have been great. Eating a salad with little tiny bones to pick out was not fun. When we told the waiter he said it's because they cut it from the whole duck like that was a reasonable explanation for the lack of care in preparation. It wasn't just one bone but loads of tiny ones. Lobster roll - ehhhh. Ok. Nothing special don't do it Spider roll - my wife said it was ok but needs something. Not great Yellowtail sashimi was amazing. Nice large pieces. Probably some of the best I have ever had. Sushi pizza tasted like it had some discount guacamole on it which made the whole thing taste bitter. I would not do this again. Grilled Spanish octopus was very tender and flavorful. Hamachi kama - tasty but not alot of meat Gyoza - good Crispy Chilean sea bass rolls - notngood and not worth it at all Risotto balls - nope. No flavor Overall experience disappointing. There are many better sushi places in Bay ridge.

Lunch special was good but not that much food. Besides that no complaints though. A good neighbor spot.

Was looking for a new place to eat after my daughters graduation. Didn't want to leave the area, but since it was 11:30AM, it was hard to find a place that was open. I noticed they opened at 11:30- so it was perfect! We were immediately seated and the place was pretty much empty, but it quickly filled up with other patrons. I opted for the lunch special. Miso Soup (my first time) cucumber salad and Salmon. I liked everything that I ordered and thought it's a pretty good deal. I also went with the broccolini-- wish they had just regular broccoli or spinach, but it served it's purpose. We also ordered the teriyaki steak, mashed potatoes, California roll, Ribeye steak and molten cake. We all were very happy with the food here. The only thing I didn't care for was the sangria. The ambiance was great and perfect for a date or group birthday outing. I would recommend and return here in the future.

This was my first time visiting Fushimi and I had a really nice meal. I'd say try everything you can because the food is amazing no matter what.

I've been going here with my friends and family at least three times a year for 8 years now. This is one of the most consistent restaurants I've ever visited. Their food has had the same taste and quality throughout the years. Every dish I've ever had from this place has been delicious. I've tried a lot from their menu, and these are ones I highly recommend: Spicy Edamame- I like that these aren't drenched with spice. I can't handle spice very well, so my family usually eats the uppermost layer, but I love getting a hint of the spice with each piece. ($8) Rock Shrimp Tempura- Perfection. No matter who I go with, we always order this dish. I've had this at other restaurants, and this place makes it best to me. ($12) Sashimi Pizza- At first I didn't know what to expect, but when I took my first bite, wow. Absolutely delicious. ($18) Salmon Four Ways- Surprisingly filling and perfect for salmon lovers. ($35) The King of Steak- The filet mignon is always tender and cooked perfectly. The sides and sauce are the perfect combination with the steak. ($40) Blueberry Panna Cotta- This is a great dessert if you want something light. It's a cool and refreshing way to end the meal. ($8) Warm Chocolate Cake- My favorite dessert from this place. This lava cake is divine. ($10) I'm not sure if they still have the Saturday and Sunday brunch menu, but they currently have a four course early dinner menu during 4 p.m.-7 p.m. for $30.95. I've been ordering different dishes from this menu during my recent visits. It's such a great value for a filling meal. This is what I ordered during my most recent visit: Avocado Cucumber Salad- Can't get enough of this flavorful, refreshing salad. Love the yuzu wasabi vinaigrette so much. Petit Angry Dragon Roll- Good quality sushi. Slowly Baked Salmon- Very delicious entrée. The salmon was cooked perfectly. I love the taste of the mashed potato and other side vegetables. Crème Brûlée- The crust is nicely carmelized and crunchy. The custard is smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. I really appreciate that even though this place is upscale, they don't treat any customers differently based on how they're dressed. I hope they always remain awesome for years to come.

Expensive, but worth as long as you get the groupon deal or the giftcard ($60 value for $30) posted on their website.

Everything was excellent, but the paella was the star of the meal my wife couldn't put her fork down. The drinks were cold, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the food. The only downside was the service at the front. The host seemed a little unfriendly, which wasn't the best first impression. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, was very welcoming, and seated us in the back, which ended up being the perfect spot for a quick bite and a couple of drinks. Overall, the food and drinks definitely outweigh the small hiccup at the beginning. We'll definitely be back for happy hour again.

For 3 people we ordered: the calamari, a lobster roll, a potato side dish, a small vegan paella and a chuzo salad. The food was good but not great - the calamari was nothing special, the lobster roll was a little over salted with the fries not fried enough, the potato dish had texture and the toppings on it had spice + acid, the salad was simple but refreshing, and the finally the vegan paella was well seasoned, strong tomato flavor in the rice and the vegetables were nicely charred. The ambiance of the restaurant felt summery, it was a little humid with a slight wind that evening and they had all doors open allowing the breeze to flow through their space beautifully. The biggest let down was their service. For a weeknight at prime dinner hour and not a very crowded night, it took an hour for our food to come out from the kitchen. I noticed another party, who arrived after us, was served their food prior to us. I wished our waiter updated us on the food without my having to ask first.

Strong, so many flavors, and you can smoke for hours and the flavor is still there. Not only is the hookah amazing but the service is outstanding. The owner is a sweetheart and makes sure the customer is 100% satisfied not only with the hookah but the environment. He gives his general opinion and doesn't want to take advantage of people. He literally told us not to waste money and to get the ice hose because the regular hose has ice in it. The people that smoke there are so sweet and yes, you will get carded so have a form of ID with your date of birth. The Moroccan tea is very good, and to smoke pomegranate mixed with anything is not going to disappoint. If you don't want to spend the five dollars on the ice hose there regular hookahs have a little ice cooler inside that makes the smoke come out cold. If you want it cold the whole time your there get the large ice and pay the five dollars. The guys are always coming around changing the coal. You can stay there as long as you want and you are not feeling rushed to leave. I always get hookah special on the fruit but this time I got regular and I LOVED it! This place is a must come to smoke hookah. The owner is an amazing cook too, cant wait to come back and try his Yemen style food! Highly recommend coming here. We ordered to regular hookahs, 1 Morocco tea, two waters, and a gingerale. It came out to 31 dollars. So with tip $40 well spent.
