While I was originally excited to try Fusia Bento Bar, my experiences thus far have been a let down. My most recent order was delayed - multiple times - and arrived needing some serious reheating. The packaging they use for delivery of items such as ramen or steamed buns aren't effective either... for example, the paper bowl for the ramen is way too small for the amount of noodles included. I appreciate their noodle-related generosity, but if that's the default quantity then you need a better packaging option. Also, my steamed buns arrived wet and soggy... making them completely unappetizing. They also - like my ramen - lacked any flavor. I've tried these kinds of dishes - like pork katsu donburi, ramen, or steamed buns - all over, including Seattle, Honolulu, Boston (esp. Chinatown), and so on. I wasn't expecting the dishes from Fusia to be amazing or completely on par (this is Ithaca, after all), but I wanted at least something above "blah". This food? This wasn't (and hasn't been) it... it's blah. I'm giving 2 stars for the menu that provides decent options for those more veggie-minded... and the eggrolls from here are decent. Otherwise, I'm honestly just over it and I don't think I'll be back. P.S. Just realizing I ordered both Fried Rice (+ $2.50) and an extra Egg Roll (+ $1.50) to go along with my order of Pork Katsu Donburi... and I received neither addition... the rice was white, and there was no extra eggroll. Gggggrrrrrr...

So yummy! We were pretty impressed. The host said the food would be 20 minutes and it came out on time and cooked fresh. Happy with our chicken broccoli bento and orange chicken bento. The crab Rangoon had more cream cheese than actual crab but still tasty. I loved my Shumai. Super satisfied with this spontaneous stop here.

Relatively small but busy restaurant. Good Japanese and Asian food, efficient waitresses. The picture is Miso Japanese ramen, delicious as expected. Notice: Need to clear the table by yourself, as noted on signs. Do not sit in front of the door during winter. All the wind would come in and blow right into your face.

Hand for reference of how huge the portions are!

Very big portions of all the food, including the soup. I paid $17 including tip for the general tso's bento box with hot and sour soup (a $1.50 upgrade). I ordered ahead and did initially think this was expensive for one meal, but because I'm now able to get two meals out of it it feels worth it. I ordered and picked it up about 20 min later and the food was ready to go and still hot by the time I was able to eat it. My only complaint was that the chicken tasted a bit too salty for my taste. I don't think I'd get the general tso again because of this, but I'd definitely try another meal here.

Fusia always delivers!! I love getting the bento box, it's only $17 and comes with so much delicious stuff. Portions are also generous, I can usually get 2 meals out of it. I also like to upgrade from miso soup to wonton soup for only $2 more. Vegetables and chicken are always so tender, rice perfectly cooked, and dumplings and seaweed salad fresh and flavorful. Very reliable spot!

Overall, this place was a lot better than I expected! It was open for dine in, which I was very shocked about. Additionally, it is very spacious inside and very comforting. The food wasn't the best, but I got the general tso chicken, and I thought it was pretty good. Also, we ordered the food online, and it was ready on time. Overall, I would go back, but it is not a place I would be extremely excited to return to.

right off cornell's campus and closes at 10pm, which are huge pros. unfortunately, the food leaves a bit to be desired. the entrees are pretty standard for american chinese cuisine, with some real misses on the menu (the orange chicken is BAD). the service here is pretty good though you might wait a while for your food. if it's busy, expect a 20-30 minute wait. the vibe inside is pretty chill, just wish the food was better than average. still worth checking out though.

Chicken teriyaki and beef broccoli entrees

I didn't hear many good things about the bento boxes so I opted for the entrees. I got the beef broccoli and chicken teriyaki which came with miso soup and rice. The vegetables were crunchy and fresh and the meat was tender. Met my expectations. I would recommend.

Good Jajjangmyeon in Ithaca!…read more My parents recommended this spot to me- and they are very particular about their Asian food. They absolutely hated Kimchi. I finally got around to trying Asia Cuisine though must admit I was a bit hesitant given their extensive menu (I feel like if a restaurant offers too many types of cuisines the quality takes a hit). However, I was pleasantly surprised! I had been craving jajjangmyeon (I had it once at Koko's but it was not good) and ordered Asia Cuisine's C3 green tea noodle w jajang sauce. The noodles were delicious! Al dente and the slightest hint of green tea flavor! The jajang sauce was a tad oily and not super traditional, though I still enjoyed it- especially the addition of onions! Service was okay. Nothing exceptional. While I haven't tried any of their other menu items, I would recommend their green tea noodle jajjangmyeon!

Pretty straightforwardly named Asian cuisine. They offer a combination of Chinese Japanese and Korean food. I had a tasty Bulgogi bento box which had tempura, a California roll, japchae, salad with ginger, purple multigrain rice and of course the delicious bulgogi. It's a casual atmosphere with friendly service. We honestly walked in cause we overheard several people saying it was better than "this", "this", and "that". But honestly the aroma from the kitchen was enough to draw me in. Definitely tasty, fresh, well portioned and highly recommended.

She gave us a donut and warm soy milk, there's also free peanuts, candy and fruit. The hospitality is outstanding and it's 1000000 stars for that alone. We got chicken and chive fried dumplings, soup dumplings and what we thought was Jajangmyeon but it wasn't and it was just a 'pork and sauce noodle' dish, it didn't have any black bean sauce. I also forgot to ask for sauces and ginger so idk if they even had that but it needed it. Parking is a mess and it's more of a walking town, there's tables and it's a lot like a food court inside.

A whole family sat around a work table, rolling, filling and shaping dumplings. I'm a vegetarian, so I can't speak to the majority of the dishes, which contain meat, but my veggie steamed dumplings are delicious with some spicy oil. Not flimsy and weird-tasting, like when you order "gyoza" from most restaurants. Next time, I'll try the buns and perhaps one of the pancakes. As I waited, I saw it was a destination for students in town, a good sign. The menu is quite extensive for such a simple and small space.

The service is another issue, the main issue I have is they givve you the check in just under or just over 30 minutes That means if you want to add a beverage you have to get them to take back your check and add the drink to it, It's really a suggestion to finish up and leave. I've talked to them about it, and it still happens. The other issue with service is mainly only one time out of the six times I've been there have they cleared away my dishes after I've finished them. And the odd thing is both with them giving you the check after a half hour and not clearing away the dishes, one of the staff who is an older woman and doesn't speak a lot of English will come up to you if you don't leave a tip or don't leave enough of one and ask you/ tell you that she wants a better tip. Now I always do tip, If I'm not using cash then the tip goes on the card at checkout and if I am using cassh I do put it on the table and I tip the casheiers too. I'll be honest with you. if there were any place that i'd be tempted not to tip it would be when being served by that one older woman who tries getting you out in a half hour and speaks just fine when she feels that she's not eating tipped enough I've been there about 6 times now, the food when it's good is good, but not spectacular but you also have to keep in mind that its all you can eat for under $20 and on that basis alone it's worth going if you ignore the suggestion to leave when they present you with eh check just 30 mi9nutes after getting there
