I was truly blown away by the salon (front desk) , the service, and Alysha's incredible skill. I've been so dismayed by how many of the salons operate these days, with, I hate to say it, self-centered stylists who charge way too much for mediocre work. Growing up, my salon experiences were wonderful...coffee, a fun time browsing the products, but over the last 10 years, things really changed. It became more of an in-and-out experience, and the service would cost $500+ for results that just weren't that great. Not only did I have a lovely time at your salon, greeted with big smiles and kindness, but the service was top-notch at an affordable price. Fusion 3 makes you feel valued as soon as you walk in the door. all of the staff are welcoming . my stylist, Tiffany, is highly skilled and helps me understand my many choices for highlights, covering my gray and adding volume. It is absolutely amazing to me to be told that there is no competition between stylists... they work together as a team. Since Tiffany has a lot of experience, she is often very busy. she has assured me that I could go to another stylist in the shop if I couldn't get in to see her and I needed a haircut quickly. I've seen a stylist who was drying/smoothing a client with long hair be helped by another stylist who had free time. I had my hair color fixed and cut by Debra and I'm very happy with the results. My hair is fine and in a delicate state due to previous color treatments. Debra understood my hair to the T and made the appropriate adjustments. Since I wanted a natural look she added low lights to fix some chunky highlights and gave me baby lights where I needed them. I learned that Debra has over two decades of experience with hair so I went with her for a re-do and it was a great choice. I am happy she was able to fix my hair without over processing. Good hair service I have received. Buyer beware of Rescheduling! They have a no-show 50% charge. I had no clue this included "rescheduling" is the same as NO SHOW if you are running 10 minutes late due to unplanned event. I was running 10 minutes late and they could not accommodate me even if I opted for no blowing out as they had another client. Thus, I had to reschedule and this meant a no-show 50% charge. Was looking forward to touching up my roots before traveling for a wedding. After spending 2 hours getting my roots blended to my high lights I left the salon looking exactly how I came in. I Initially thought it was the poor lighting in the salon but after I paid and went outside I realized my hair barely looked altered. Before leaving, I asked the stylist if I wanted to come back if she had availability that week, she said yes but when I called back a half hour after I left I was told there was no availability with any stylist for the upcoming weeks. I hadn't used this salon since 2018, now I understand why! I had a VERY SIMPLE root touch up and bang cut with Nicole, who is apparently a jr stylist for the lack of a better term. She kept asking me about what color of touch up I wanted and I picked out a blonde almost a match to mine. Meanwhile while I'm baking for 45 mins, I noticed a very dark dark ring ariound my root area which in the 46 yrs coloring my roots I've never seen before so I "guess" they know what they are doing. It was time to rinse me and the stylist has this look of horror on her face and then proceeds to tell me that the color is off because of the "pigments" it picked up. BULLSHHHHHHHH*T!! THE "SENIOR" COLORIST (what a joke) mixed the wrong color, it was for dark hair, brown hair!~ So then I'm pissed beyond reason so they scramble and whisper whisper to one another and throw bleach all of my head to counteract the brown. That idiot senior sylist with the fluorescent green hair is a fking idiot and NO ONE was admitting they screwed up kept yammering it's "the pigment", I went off, I said, "LOOK!! FKING ADMIT YOUR MADE A MISTAKE AND CALL A BUCK A BUCK, WHAT BULLSH*T YOU ARE THROWING AT ME IS NOT WORKING!!!". When I went to check out my head was blistering with bleach burns all over my scalp and 48 hours later those burns on my head are oozing. So then the very final insult was another idiot young girl all of 20 something with princess leah pony's in her head telling me I can pay full price today and coming back in 2 weeks for free to fix it, or I can leave and pay nothing and never come back. ARE YOU SERIOUS LITTLE GIRL?WHAT AN INSULT! I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER TRUST A SALON FULL OF YOUNGTERS WITH ZEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TALENT AND EXPERIENCE TO EVER EVER TOUCH MY HEAD AGAIN. I turned around and walked away before I hit someone. So now I have orange hair and arranged for an actual colorist specialist at a credited salon to fix me this weekend. Oh, and the girl blow drying me? I said, pls part my hair on the side, dummy couldn't even do that right, she pushed all my bangs to the front and the blow dry wasn't even acceptable. This was my first time here at fusion 3 and I'm honestly surprised I have never been here before nor did they disappoint. I made a last minute reservation for a blow out for an event I was going too that evening and I was greeted with a friendly smile, great conversation, and a strong cup of coffee. Nicole did my blow out and she did a fantastic job! She even took the time to wand my full head when I originally asked for some basic curls, although she recommended a wand due to my hair texture. I went there late and got a quick hair cut (20 minutes including hair washing). Still paid $85 and I'm not satisfied with the result.

I had booked online, which is a great way to compare prices and reduce the anxiety of negotiating available appointments over the phone. Because a relative had visited the salon a day before, my stylist, Savannah, had been clued into the type of undercut that I was looking to get that day, and greeted me enthusiastically when I had arrived early for the appointment. Of course, that kind of enthusiasm is only contagious, especially when I was so nervous about my plan of shaving the side of my head. During the consulting session Savannah and I discussed and demonstrated my new hair part, consulted the photos I had brought in, and I received a scalp massage as well before heading over to shampoo and conditioning, which by itself was a wonderful and gentle experience. Even as the conditioner set in, there was also a hand/arm massage before I was invited back to my chair. I think the best part about this experience was the supportive enthusiasm I received from Savannah, while at the same time using her expertise to make my ideal haircut suit my face and hair type. I'm used to stylists frowning and encouraging me to stay on the safe side of cuts, which is not what I want. Savannah also asked every time there was opportunity for creative liberty - to go shorter, or more layered, or more shaped (especially around my temple,) and I invited her to go for it, with a result that I am positively giddy with. In the end, her mentor, I believe, came by to thoroughly check through my hair to make sure no spots were missed. I felt very well-attended to, and it's definitely been the most positive salon experience I've ever had. It also helped that I expected the cut to cost $44, but with my relative's referral, it came down to just 20-some dollars, which was absolutely fantastic. I then bit and bought some of their Aveda hair product, which brought the price back up to what I expected in the first place, but the texturizing cream just smells so nice and is very effective, so I have no regrets. read more

I have a bad habit of never being satisfied with my haircuts, which leads me to jump from one salon to another. That was until I came across Fusion 3 Salon. It is one of the BEST places I've been to for haircut. Every experience starts with a cup of Aveda tea (Try it!), then a head and shoulder massage, and even a hand massage while your hair is being washed. All of this is complimentary! The other thing I love about this place that more places should do is that they offer free bang trimmings. No appointments needed. As far as stylists go, I personally love Kaleen, and have seen her repeated. Unfortunately, I am no longer in the area, but have contemplated making the 30 mile drive just to get my haircut from this place. read more

Please note that this review is not intended to bad talk the salon in anyway but I feel some things need to be addressed. Further training or review needs to be done for new talents . I had been going to fusion 3 salon for 3 years . I started in Livermore and had a amazing experience with an advanced stylist Lindsey . I am going to say right now that I should have stuck with this one stylist as she is amazing, knows exactly how to work with blondes and is very sweet . However when life happens and schedules don't align you have to look into other options. I was on a normal work schedule 8-5 m-f and she did not work weekends so after my first/ second visit it was impossible to get a appointment with her . At this point I was recommended to new talent still in Livermore . I was getting married and needed my partial highlights done for my wedding. I was referred to new talent that was the only option for my work schedule . I worked with Nicole, I was told Nicole and all new talent are trained by Lindsey, long story short I had major bleach bleed through and stripes . Multi colored bleach from yellow to brassy to extremely light . Had to come back , Lindsey fixed as a exception from management and this was during a work day for me and 2 days before wedding . A couple months later Livermore closed down , I then went to the Pleasanton location and worked with Aubrey new talent , unfortunately had the same situation happen with the bleach , runs , stripes and brass color and the top of my head not even highlighted . Came back again to have fixed again honored by management this time by Annie ! Annie was amazing and she was new talent . She did my hair great 2-3 times had the perfect color combo and noted my file . Then Annie changed careers and departed from the salon. My appointment I had for 3 months advance was canceled and rescheduled weeks later . I had to go on a trip that I had planned having my hair look nice , look not so nice . Appointment came around this time I was seen by Mayra and it was Christmas Eve. Mayra was new talent and I was assured she would follow the notes Annie put in my file for color and process . I arrived there at 12 and didn't leave the salon until 530 because we had to redo the work which overlapped my bleached hair . Again this is for partial highlight only no cut . Unfortunately once again bleed through bleach , stripes it was awful . Mayra did try to fix but this was rushed . It was interrupted but another client that had her own hair issues Mayra was working on both of us at the same time. One side was processed naturally on the right and then she stopped to help the other women with color, came back to me rushed my color and then she stuck me under the dryer for the left side of my head to process the highlights. After all this I reached out to the owner Michelle , she refunded me and I thanked her for her efforts . All in all these girls are all nice but there is some learning issue when it comes to the new talents and the highlights . I would recommend only seeing advanced if ur a bleached blonde doing any highlights . New talent would be great for hair cuts that is all I can vouch for. I still feel Michelle is a great owner and does right by her clients she offered for me to have it fixed again but after so many times . I decided to end my experience with fusion 3. Was visiting California for a wedding in Pleasanton. Made an appointment with Debra for a blow-out and style. Brought my Halo hair piece with me and she did a GREAT JOB of placing it and putting in loose curls and adding some volume to my own completely flat hair. She used a technique I wasn't familiar with and it worked well. If I lived in the area I am sure I'd be interested in having Debra provide services on an ongoing basis. New clients get return visit $10 off coupons and coupons for $20 off for 2 friends who would be new referrals. I gave my coupons to people who live in the area. Only issue encountered was when attempting to schedule on-line, the system wouldn't take my credit card. So, I had to call and the person who answered was able to schedule the appointment - she seemed to know that the online system wasn't working. I did explain what I needed done AND that I was a new client, but she apparently didn't enter the "required" consultation appointment in addition to the style appointment. This resulted in a number of texts back and forth asking if I could come early. Then the time seemed to vary from text to text - so I went ahead and stopped in the day before to verify the time (I was in the area). Otherwise all went well. read more

As a confirmed Metrosexual, I highly recommend this place. I used to go to Gary Patrick, but I felt like that place was a little pretentious. This place is not at all. Everyone at the front desk is very down to earth and low key and friendly. I bet a lot of guys go there just for the hand and scalp message. They ask you if you "want to be energized or relaxed" depending on what message oil they use. I'm like "I don't care...just spoil me!" My stylist is Kaileen, and she is very good. Great job by the owners on customer service. I liked the friendly service and instant greeting when I arrived. It was my first visit as part of a Living Social deal but I will return at regular prices. This salon shows how a Living Social deal can be spun into a long term customer with great service! This an aveda concept salon so it comes with the bells and whistles.. I got a head massage (no arm massage though, but I wasn't sure if it was either or both) with oils before shampoo and a nice head massage at the shampoo station. I really liked the shampoo chairs, super comfortable especially considering I had to soak for 10min for my gloss/conditioner. The stylist was efficient and did a good job, she even curled my hair for me at the end - really appreciated because I felt like it was a full complete job, as opposed to some partial blow-outs I've gotten. I was apprehensive about the final cut but she was very positive in assuring me that they would correct any changes I might want later so all in all, pretty good. It's clear the owners put alot of thought into this business and what their business stands for. Seems like the stylists are happy and peppy there. Appears they walk the talk on customer service and that's awesome! I LOVE supporting such deserving businesses because it's evident they really care about their customer feedback and take proactive (and redemptive) steps to ensure their customers are happy. First time customers get a little gift (water bottle in my case) with coupons to return and bring in new customers. It would be nice to pickout our own gifts since I won't be using the water bottle but I really liked that they thought of rewarding current and future customers, nice touch - it feels organized, and well thought through! Well to start off I have been going to fusion 3 for at least 15 years. Over the past 3 years it has really gone downhill . I stuck it out because I loved my stylist. She took over booking my appointments, because they kept getting booked incorrectly. She is no longer at the salon and it has been a nightmare getting an appointment, from the front end staff to the management team. They either cancel them, give me appointments for the same service only a week apart or a month apart. i had referred many people there over the years and they are now experiencing the same problems. To my surprise the girls at this salon did a great job nine years ago and I've been coming back ever since. Had a hard time finding a good quality salon until I came here! The salon works as a team so everyone helps each other out ensuring clients get good quality service. If you are not happy with your service they usually redo it as a comp. service (as no one is perfect errors can occur but they will fix it and that's what I like about this place.). They offer 3 levels of stylist with diff rates so it is affordable for most. Staff is always friendly and nice. They offer free tea and coffee, hand massage or scalp massage, depending on the service. Shampoo, conditioning, blow dry and style all included with color or cut. All products are high quality only and the girls are very experienced, with sr. talent coaching and assisting the newer talent. They def. know how to pamper their guest and keep them coming back. I was recommended to see Kristen by savannah (awesome receptionist) and I'm so glad I did! She has such an amazing personality and even more amazing skills at cutting hair. I showed her two pictures and she knew how she was going to do it. I was super nervous, but she answered every question I had. My children have had their hair cuts at fusion previously and they always did a good job. On our most recent appointment we were given a new hair stylist and not informed that she was a trainee. The hair cut took over 1 hour 40 min, a lot shorter than we had asked for. The style itself is done very poorly, it's very hard to manage...although her mentor came in the end and told her she had done a good job. read more
