Every time when I see a place that has several great reviews, it makes me pause and consider a bit more what I am about to write. It surprises me when someone like me, who basically always gives out four or five stars reviews feels like I should be giving two... But then again, this is going to be based just on a couple of instances here so perhaps I just was not lucky and I will go with three stars just because I would feel bad for the business owner that can't always control what his/her staff are doing. Just to describe my experience here a bit - first the waitresses were just completely ignoring me and my dad trying to order, when we finally did, one of the kegs was running out so they gave us 2/3 of a beer for a full price and later, they even tried to charge us for an extra beer (which we did not get). Not to mention when I tried ordering a second round, I had to wait a good amount of time for the bartender to be done chatting with her admirers. It is nice that they have pretty looking girls working here, many customers love to have something nice to look at and I do, too. but normally with a fresh and full beer in my hand... Was at Clearwater Beach because the wife had a overnight conference (Gotta love being retired and getting free trips). Looked on Yelp for some cigar bars and found this place as well as a competitor across the street (Sorry to the competitor didn't make it this trip). Both had good reviews and I chose Fusion, well because I happen to be on their side of the street. 1. Cigar selection: As with other reviews the selection is limited but not to limited to find a great smoke. I chose the Liga Undercrown shade. 2. Beer selection: As far as taps, I think they have 6 but again not bad on beer choices. 3. Liquor selection: Not a big fan of hard liquor but selection is vast. 4. Service: EXCELLENT And very friendly. Will be back for sure. read more

Great place to smoke cigars in particular. Dynamite outside area to enjoy your favorite stick and top draw alcoholic beverage. The owner Dee is very knowledgeable in cigars and accessories. ok just a fyi, i did not buy any of their cigars, i brought my own and smoked one here. i just wanted to get some drinks. so they were happy to oblige me. i got a regular mojito and coconut mojito both were excellent. i got to chill on a nice leather couch, puff, watch tv and sip my drinks in peace. great atmosphere and i did not bring my own smokes i would try their stuff because they have a super huge cigar selection. they have some lovely outdoor heated seating as well. read more

This is an interesting one. Cigar selection very strong; prices somewhere between fine & tad higher than they should be, but all good. Great alcohol selection/bar, and very happy with the large seating area (plus more outside). Wasn't crazy about the attitude of the guy working the sales desk, but whatever. What is interesting here is that this place seemingly aims to be part cigar lounge/part high end club?? With two beautiful bartenders (not scantly clad, but dressed more like they were headed out to party) and a third gorgeous woman working the room like a hostess, I couldn't quite figure out what this place was trying to be. read more

What a lovely place to stop and have a cigar and a drink! The guy running the cigar part was friendly and helpful, quite knowledgeable as well. We spent about an hour at the bar with our cigars just enjoying the air conditioning and atmosphere. Portia (or Porsche) the bartender was quick and competent. There seems to be a large liquor selection and they even had Coke for me. I thoroughly and completely recommend this place, come in and spend some time with a drink and a cigar. I came here on a Monday night and Clearwater was pretty dead but this place had people enjoying themselves. The service was really good. We sat at the outside bar which was really cool. The two bartenders were nice and attentive. We got serviced right away. Th why worked well as a team which is really great to see bc I've been to other bars where you can tell there is drama between the workers and it can make me feel uncomfortable, but this was not that at all!! Super professional and classy. They have a variety of nightly specials and make classic drinks. We did not buy any of their cigars but did bring our own. It was a really enjoyable experience and the atmosphere inside and outside was relaxing and enjoyable. All of the staff was nice. Please check this place out if you like cigars or even if you don't and want a classy place to sit and hangout. For a cigar lunge, I could not tell there was cigar smoke around. This place is not even worth one star. My husband and I came in midday for our honeymoon and were barely greeted. The hostess/bartender, couldn't tell you her name; because it was never said, was extremely rude. We are actually highly regretting even coming in and we clearly weren't welcome. If you are traveling from anywhere, you may want to bypass this experience; altogether. Super disappointed and recommend a customer service class to everyone except for Dee. The cigar attendant who was the only one who smiled and asked, how could he assist. Shame on you all for even having your door open for business! read more

We live in Dunedin. There is one spot in Dunedin to smoke cigars. Another just across 19 but no outdoor seating. So we opted for the beach, which we usually avoid entirely. It was a cool night. We sat outside because I dislike smoky environments. They gave us a propane tank to burnt he outdoor heater with. Helped A LOT. Purchased some drinks and sat on the comfy outdoor furniture for awhile. Bathroom was a bit messy. Patrons were respectful. Noone was out of control tipsy. People seemed to be enjoying the experience of smoking a cigar in a nice environment. From the young to the older people were friendly. That doesn't happen very often. Staff was friendly although the ladies serving outdoors were quite cold due to their wardrobe choices. :) All in all we had a nice time. I loved sitting outside because I am a non smoker and I like to hang out with my friends who all like to smoke. But I don't want to sit in a warehouse of stagnant smoke. We would definitely return. Around here it is the best outdoor smoke place around. Next best is in Dunedin but limited hours. And then further North in New Port Richey. read more

To start off I'm not a customer I'm a recently "fired" employee I guess you could say. Giving it a one star because I had a interview with them and it went great. They seemed to love me and asked me to come into to work a couple days following. I had no prior bartending experience, which I told them in my interview. My first day was crazy, they threw me in and the girls were very unfriendly and rude expect for the bartender Marcela. There weren't any managers to tell me what I should've been doing. Also , Abby and China were the one that are rude. So after my first day they told me they'd call back for me to come back in to work. A week passed and I never got a response from them. I messaged them and no response. I finally decided to call and ask to speak to Allie the woman running the place. Which is the owners girlfriend. The person in the phone told me they were busy and she couldn't speak to me. Mind you it has been a week since I worked, I needed this job desperately. I got the job from a friend from school and she told me the other day that she spoke to Allie and said she had to" let me go" because I wasn't experienced enough. Not only did she ever contact me back, she never told me they were only looking for girls who were experienced. Such a waist of my time, I could've been looking for a job this whole time if they would've just told me. Apparently they even knew they weren't going to keep me after my first night and persisted to take a picture of my social security and license and show me around the place more, when she knew the whole time she was just never going to contact me again. I will not be recommending ANYONE here. I've seen a lot of reviews about this place and how bad the staff is and honestly I see why now. read more

As a cigar lounge owner it's not often you are "wowed" by another cigar lounge when on the road. D and the team at Fusion Cigar Lounge are legit! We had a great evening there and felt right at home. Love the bar/Cigar combo and the vibe is excellent. Comfortable seating perfect for conversation or just relaxing with a good stick and a drink. The cigar selection is excellent - from the high end Davidoffs and Fuentes to the wide range of boutique brands, the humidor is well stocked. This is my third year coming to Clearwater Beach, and thusly my third year of patronizing Fusion. For the most point the cigar per stick prices run a tad high on some frontmarks, and quite good on others; there's always been something to pick up, whether it be a discontinued or short production run cigar i.e. Robert Caldwell's Last Tsar which is nominally priced. The bar finally has Laphroaig and Talisker Storm, which for me is wünderbar! They're an official appointed Davidoff merchant now (not an easy nor cheap account to get). You can't go wrong with a Davidoff cigar except for their Maduro's; that's a discontinued blend by Davidoff, which is seldom ever done by Davidoff of Geneva, let alone Hendrik Kelner (Davidoff's foremost and chief blender). If you're game I recommend highly the either of Royal offerings, while they do fetch a lot of money they afford a rich and long smoking time; for instance the robusto will last you easily seventy-five minutes if not longer and the salomone about one hundred-forty minutes of bliss. Would I recommend this lounge, absolutely. Would I come back of course, after all this is my third year coming here. It always gets better; I've bought box and accessories in years past. One last tidbit, try their Headline cigars, quite good for "house cigar". read more

Best cigar bar in the area! I have always loved cigars and love finding spots with a unique selection and this place never lets me down. The staff is very knowledgeable and always helpful in finding the right cigar for you, I have brought friends and family who have never tried cigars before and they were all clueless and received great attention to find what was best for them. Nice store with a great location on Clearwater Beach. Good selection of sticks that can meet many different needs and price points among multiple humidors. Good beer and wine selections as well. Inside and outside seating is nice with the option to have food "delivered" from other nearby restaurants. Inside is trendy and upscale with multiple large screen TVs for viewing whatever. Prices are pretty in line with other stores despite the expectations that they would be high because of the location. They also maintain their own Fusion cigar line as well that comes in various sizes and prices. Eye candy is also nice as you get to see the beach traffic. read more

Nice place; a very good vibe. For all those complaining about price, I dropped in just to grab a smoke. The Fuente Gran Reserva 8-5-8 I left with cost me $8.56 (2 cents more would have been interesting, name matching price) which is not that much more than mail order. A quick look shows the price is generally about six bucks for these. If you don't think that's good, compare your restaurant wine to the liquor store. You can't ask for more. Recommended. read more
