I got it to a pretty good state, but the bathtub needed professional cleaning to remove some difficult brown/black stains and some regrouting. Chris promised he could get the job done. We also asked him about cleaning the bathroom floor and he said he would acid wash it to remove the build-up in between the tiles. After the job was done I inspected the bathroom there was NO difference from where I left off. In the bathtub, there were still brown/black stains and the old grout was still there, and the floor still had the build-up between the tiles. I emphatically do not recommend Chris Chai. Now we're $750 poorer and our apartment stinks like burning rubber with nothing to show for it. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I've reached out to them within the first year because that is their warranty and I was told multiple times "it passed inspection" when the safety rails that were put in the shower fell out because they were not screwed into a stud of any kind they were only screwed through the tile I was told they weren't put in for you, so why are you using them they were for your father-in-law and he's not there. It doesn't matter because it's in my house. I have the right to use it. he did send Freddie out a couple times to put them back in. He never put even an anchor in when he screwed them into the tile. The shower was leaking and causing damage to the wall and his worker. Freddie came out and put a new baseboard on and said there didn't fix the problem that was going on. Just tried to cover it up. Now that I'm 15 months out from my job and no longer under warranty one of the pipes burst in the wall flooding my master bedroom and my master bathroom, after the demolition was done, we were able to see all of the violations that occurred and what their true work is. Which I will attach the pictures his worker cut into a four 4 x 4 on the outside of my wall which is a weight-bearing beam did not do any reinforcement just cut into it to make a shelf for the shower. The hot mop that they installed they pulled out because they forgot to do the correct steps. Meaning it was a roll in shower and they had put a lip on it so it would've been a step in shower. They ended up just putting the tiles on the bear cement with no water proofing not to mention there was no insulation put back into the walls and the plumbing looks like a five-year-old did it. No wonder it burst after 15 months the heater and air conditioning unit they installed were too big for the ventilation I had in my house which he knew. They ended up suffocating themselves and shutting down to brand new units and come to find out my house could've caught on fire cause they were wired in properly. I guess that is what you get when you don't ask questions are below please if you have any more questions, ask me. this is only some of the issues I had. I can tell you a list of 100 and more.

We will not be doing business with them in the future nor do we recommend doing business directly with them. I know they are a Costco vendor. We suggest going through the Costco route if you want to proceed (with caution). If something happens and you're not happy, you can always complain to Costco (which values your business more than these people). Buyer beware : 1. We bought 2 containers of roll cote ($375 each, which was $125 more than floor&Decor. Floor&dedor has it for $250 each) when we went to return one unused bucket, they refused to take it stating that the outside of the bucket is too dirty to take in. I didn't think it was too dirty bc when we received them, it was not spotless either. The container was sealed. 2. We bought mohawk lvp planks from them, and double checked to make sure they're returnable. They confirmed that they are. However, when my husband went to return a pack we didn't use, they said they cannot accept anything less than 250 sqft. They also state any special orders are not returnable. This information was not communicated with me prior. BOTTOM LINE: do business with big names like Costco or Home Depot if you like no hassle return policy.
