Had lunch today with wife. We ordered ,two California rolls, two pot stickers, two diet cokes and one dish, for a total of 63 dollars. The rolls were ok, no real flavor. The pot stickers were burned partially black on outside and not cooked on the inside. Felt like a hard lump going down. No problem with the Diet Pepsi. Service was okay but food took forever to come out. We have eaten here three times before and sadly this will be our last time. The help seemed more interested on what was on their phones than the customer(only one other diner, who was finishing up their meal). Firstly I'd give 3.5 stars! The soup was very very good! I was craving it so it definitely hit the spot. The sushi was pretty average but for the location it was great. Not sure where else in Woodland Park would have freshish sushi lol! Our appetizer took a while and came out last but I'd come back for a quick bite! Super flavorful pot stickers. Great to see even after a change in ownership, Fusion Japan still delivering a surprisingly good sushi meal at 8500' in elevation. Ok. First off, I went in with expectations of real hibatchi food and quality. The soup was good, the salad would've been better hd I had a knife to cut up the very large chunks of iceberg lettuce. The servers didn't appear overly helpful, friendly, and seemed to have trouble with communication, so I didn't even attempt to ask. The woodland park roll was fresh and good. Now. To my hibatchi steak and scallops. When I ordered, I realized she never asked me how I like my steak cooked. Since I'm an avid rare lover, I mentioned it to her, and she nodded. What came out was nothing like any hibatchi place I've been to...and I frequent them. It was all mixed with some brown tasteless sauce, the scallops under cooked and the steak over cooked. There was NO hibatchi type flavor, no ginger sauce or yum yum. Had I known any of this, I would've just ordered fried rice and called it a day. Even the noodles and vegetables were flavorless. The Thai peanut chicken dish was decent... I would not go back. Service was not friendly and inviting, nor was the food worth $52 that we paid. One of the serves I saw eating at the food window, then shoved it in her cheek and spoke to customers with a full mouth. I was shocked. The place is small and tight, the tables were filling up fast on a Friday at 6, so some people like it. My expectations were definitely too high. This place was sadly so terrible. Please don't go here. The food was absolutely cold and my friends plate had a hair in it. Service was cold and not friendly at all. I usually would eat something if it was decent but what I had wasn't even decent. Bland, cold, and then the egg roll actually tasted putrid like maybe it was bad idk but this was not a good experience. I think I would've been better off trying the fortune dragon instead. This place used to be pretty decent. But now they've gone on the cheap. The crab wontons are some kind of weird breading instead of in a wonton wrapper. The eggrolls are minuscule and the sushi was OK. It all fell apart when I picked it up. So maybe they're not using The rice they used to or taking the care that they used to. I've eaten here 3 x on my way home to BV- an hour west with limited dining options. Last night I ordered their green and panache curries, a hand roll and a rainbow roll. My previous experiences were not nearly as good as last night so I have it 4/5stars for that reason. However, last night was 5star service. A mixed review. First, it was a good experience and I will definitely be back. I read through a lot of comments about the friendliness, or lack there of of the staff, and I found them to be fine. They weren't overly friendly and in my face, nor were they rude or aloof. It was fine, good service. The first item I ordered was a dragon roll, and the sauce was absolutely amazing, as well as the presentation. I felt like the rice could've been a little fresher, but then again there could've been tempura in there. I gave it that crispier texture. Regardless, it was delicious and I will order that roll again. The second item I have I believe is called a New York, New York, which featured red tuna on top and some type of crunchy tempura in the middle. I'm an easy lover of red tuna, absolutely love a good dish with some nice piece of fish on top. Again, I don't know if it was the rice or the tempura in the middle, but I wasn't a big fan of the crunchy texture underneath, but that's just me. I might order it again, or I might order it again with some modifications to the interior of the sushi roll. We've eaten at Fusion before, the service is terrible, but the food is usually good which makes up for it. Although, this time was different, as my wife was eating her order of teriyaki beef she noticed a bug in her food. Which is disgusting and rather disturbing, knowing we've eating this dish many time and to think of how many times things have gone unnoticed. When my wife asked for something different after she noticed the bug it took even longer getting the food. They also decided to still charge me for the plate of food that contained the bug. This spot was super close to our hotel in Woodland Park that we walked to it right after we checked in. The meal had a great variety of Thai and Japanese cuisines and everyone there was very nice! We ordered the Thai style beef and basil tofu. They both came with a small bowl of light soup and the beef also came with a small salad with some sort of coconut/curry dressing that I loved! The portions were a little on the small side, but for the price (~$10), I couldn't really complain! They had a lot of the flavor and the the sauces mixed with the rice tasted really good! The Thai style beef had a little chili pepper next to it on the menu, but I didn't think it was that spicy. The beef was really tender and the broccoli was steamed perfectly! I really enjoyed both dishes and the comfortable atmosphere. The total for both was about $22 before tip! read more

We also waited for our sushi & curry to arrive for about 40 minutes, then we asked if it is going to be around soon (since yep, most of the order was sushi, so it does not take too long to make), but the server clearly forgot about our order and said it will arrive soon (did not admit she forgot, but we could just read on her face that the order was not even placed)... So it took about an hour to get our meal to the table, which if you ask me, we would not even go in if we knew that was going to be an hour and a half long experience with so many people sitting so close inside.
