The food is amazing and the staff are really friendly. Plus, the staff is very helpful with helping us select new foods to try.

Firstly I'd give 3.5 stars! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fusion Japan is a pretty small spot but never super crowded so you can usually get a seat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The servers aren't super social but they aren't hostile so it's fine honestly. The soup was very very good! I was craving it so it definitely hit the spot. The sushi was pretty average but for the location it was great. Not sure where else in Woodland Park would have freshish sushi lol! Our appetizer took a while and came out last but I'd come back for a quick bite! Super flavorful pot stickers. Good place just average sushi but I recommend for sure. Phenomenal prices too :)

Great to see even after a change in ownership, Fusion Japan still delivering a surprisingly good sushi meal at 8500' in elevation. A good value and the fish is always fresh, it's my go to spot when I'm in the mood for great service and a quality meal. Definitely a local gem for Woodland Park.

Doing a load of laundry next door and was called to treat myself to lunch. What sweet presentation, service and pause on this Monday. And delicious!

Great place to go after a long day and when you're hungry (you might order multiple things like I did because I was so famished!) and it sits well, isn't super heavy and the servers are friendly and efficient. The food is good, the atmosphere is inviting and clean, and their noodles are cooked to perfection. We'll be back

First time visiting Fusion. The food was really good. The service was good, not great but not bad either. The sushi was fresh, the pot stickers were some of the best I've had in the Colorado Springs area. The price was less than expected which was a nice surprise. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because [[HIGHLIGHT]]I feel like they need to remodel and invest a little in the interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Steak and scallop hibatchi
    Shelly H.

Ok. First off, I went in with expectations of real hibatchi food and quality. The soup was good, the salad would've been better hd I had a knife to cut up the very large chunks of iceberg lettuce. The servers didn't appear overly helpful, friendly, and seemed to have trouble with communication, so I didn't even attempt to ask. The woodland park roll was fresh and good. Now. To my hibatchi steak and scallops. When I ordered, I realized she never asked me how I like my steak cooked. Since I'm an avid rare lover, I mentioned it to her, and she nodded. What came out was nothing like any hibatchi place I've been to...and I frequent them. It was all mixed with some brown tasteless sauce, the scallops under cooked and the steak over cooked. There was NO hibatchi type flavor, no ginger sauce or yum yum. Had I known any of this, I would've just ordered fried rice and called it a day. Even the noodles and vegetables were flavorless. The Thai peanut chicken dish was decent... I would not go back. Service was not friendly and inviting, nor was the food worth $52 that we paid. One of the serves I saw eating at the food window, then shoved it in her cheek and spoke to customers with a full mouth. I was shocked. The place is small and tight, the tables were filling up fast on a Friday at 6, so some people like it. My expectations were definitely too high. Order at your own risk...and god forbid if you have any questions.

This place was sadly so terrible. Please don't go here. The food was absolutely cold and my friends plate had a hair in it. Service was cold and not friendly at all. I usually would eat something if it was decent but what I had wasn't even decent. Bland, cold, and then the egg roll actually tasted putrid like maybe it was bad idk but this was not a good experience. I think I would've been better off trying the fortune dragon instead. Atmosphere was okay, people were In there eating it like it was normal but maybe they never had that kind of food before idk.

Thai Beef. . .spicy, sweet, crunch, silky, delish!
    Chrislyn B.

Overall great food, and great staff. My soup was delish. We also ordered the Crazy Girl Roll which was like a spicy tuna roll with extra, it was served a little room temp and didn't have a ton of texture, but the flavor was good. Would recommend going here though.

What desserts do they have? And when I was in CA, I loved crunch roll or crunchy roll. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Do they have anyone similar to it here?

The Pad Thai, for instance, used super thin noodles that just didn't have the same satisfying bite you'd expect. The fish sauce? Excessive, to put it mildly. It's almost as if they were trying to make up for a lack of flavor by drowning everything in salt and sauce. The curry? Let's talk about that. It was meant to be spicy, sure, but what I got was a sweat-inducing, face-glowing experience. If you're into full heat when it should be a notch down, as ordered, then this place is for you. That from a person who usually does very hot foods, but not the hottest of hot. The portions also were on the smaller side. On the plus side, the location is super convenient just a quick drive around the corner from that famous rock formation everyone loves. The service? Perfectly fine. No complaints there. And the environment was decent.

For whatever reason, they played one song three times while we were there, which was a bit odd. Service: 3/5 Again, very middle of the road. Our waiter was kind but quiet and unenthused; he seemed rushed. Some other service team members came to clear plates throughout the meal, all without saying a word. But all of our orders were correct. Food: 3/5 Some parts of the meal were very pleasant, while others were disappointing. I ordered the Avocado Crab Salad with my meal, and it was delicious: a generous portion of crab, and a really unique and tasty ginger dressing. My main meal was the "Box A," which was a combo platter of teriyaki beef, some assorted tempura, rice, and a California roll. This was more disappointing than the salad: the tempura is BLAND. That may be traditional, I don't know; but there's no need to stick to traditions if they don't taste good. The batter was downright flavorless, and tasted like nothing except the oil it was fried in. The teriyaki beef had a nice flavor to it, and the meat was cooked nicely, but the portion was small for the price, and sat on a massive bed of shredded cabbage to inflate its appearance. The sushi was pretty run-of-the-mill, nothing notable about it either way; I did like the sticky rice. Overall, this place is just average, but you're not paying average prices for it. I can't give this restaurant any more than a 3/5 when I know Jasmine Gardens is 5 minutes away, and Nana's Dim Sum is 10 minutes away. Both of those places boast superior flavor, value, and atmosphere (especially Nana's).
