    Chefs choice omelet
    Genie M.

A friend had gone and wanted me to see if I would enjoy the food as much as they did. I did enjoy! The hostess was welcoming and our waitress, Dazzia, was on point. We all had omelets and they were all filled with fresh ingredients! The toast was a wholegrain delicious bread. I should have asked where to buy. The apricot preserves i believe were made in house. They don't serve pork bacon but I believe they had turkey sausage and they were seasoned well. They also offer shrimp as a side and you can buy by the piece. They were delicious and went perfect with my omelet! The coffee was delicious and they came around several times to add to our cups. The chai tea had by a friend was a good brand and provided a lovely aroma to our table! If your in Colorado Springs stop in! Th

While the restaurant looks inviting, the food and service have a lot to be desired. The menu is very vegan friendly and does not have a good balance for those that are not. The food was bland. I ordered breakfast potatoes as a part of my meal and it was literally slices from a whole potato that were put on a flat top grill and grilled on both sides, no seasoning and not fully cooked. The food was overpriced and the service was extremely slow. We sat for 15 minutes waiting for the check. There was only 8 people and 3 other tables in the place besides us. We were finally offered a water refill when the check was dropped by. Then it took another 5 minutes to get our card back. The prices were way too high as well. It was $16 for a breakfast sandwich.

What a cute place! The interior was absolutely FILLED with gorgeous impressionistic styled paintings, which was maybe my favorite part! I felt like I was in a local art museum and only wish I'd had a chance to learn more about collection. I ordered Rockey's Special (toast, poached eggs, seasonal fruit). It came looking like the most aesthetic breakfast plate I've seen in my life. I felt like I was at a fancy tea shop! I loved the artful arrangement of the fruit. The main disappointment was I had asked for butter on the side, and the toast came both buttered and with butter on the side. Both my partner and I wonder if they have some kind of vegan butter substitute because it did not taste or smell like butter, and this place seems health conscious. Our waiter was kind enough to bring me dry toast when I pointed it out. Where this place really shined though was the lasagna meal. It was so fresh and flavorful with heart chunks of tomato and the right amount of cheese (more like true Italian versus Americanized versions that just drip with melted cheese). The roll with that meal was incredible. Next time, I'm ordering that. My partner devoured it before I could steal more than a bite from him. Would recommend ! Just note they seemed understaffed so service was a little slow, but it's worth the wait!

The ambiance was the best!!! They had wonderful Impressionist-style paintings along the walls. Great for a date or a one on one. The food was stellar as well. I had the lasagna which I would highly recommend. Unfortunately, they accidentally put butter on my girlfriend's toast : ( which could have been dangerous if she was allergic. They low key gaslighted her that it wasn't butter but bruh, the toast literally had butter grease on it!!! They later corrected it. But unfortunately, the review is only going to be 4 stars.

I had the vegan avocado quinoa bowl with tempeh and it was So delicious! Honestly, I was so impressed with the flavor and quality of ingredients. The way they prepared the tempeh was absolutely perfect. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service too.

The name might be a personal bias for me but Adam's Mountain Cafe is a cozy escape from the elements with large portions and a wide variety of entrees to serve all guests! Vegan options for both Breakfast and Lunch menus though I got Heuvos Rancheros which turned out great with well-rounded flavor and warmth. The latte was good and the first ive ever received with a design made from the creamer. I also tried their Snowcapped cider which is on par with angry orchard on draft! The service was good, after the initial interaction my host opened up a little more. The ambience is one of my favorites with the theme being an ornately decorated mountain. lodge. Every part of the space feels like a novelty of Western living and every part is used to create a warm and inviting atmosphere! I recommend anyone in the area travelling to come down to Adam's Mountain Cafe.

Cute location on the outskirts of Manitou Springs. Friendly service and we appreciated the vegan options. The vegan huevos rancheros were great - maybe better than the normal ones. Kids eggs and toast was perfect for our son.

Been coming to Adam's Cafe since I was a kid and it never disappoints. I love the atmosphere with the plants, pottery, and beautiful artwork. It feels cozy and relaxing. This time around I tried the vegan French Toast which was amazing I would recommend it, but it is quite rich maybe splitting a savory dish with the French toast would be perfect. Overall loved Adam's Mountain Cafe. (Especially if you are looking for vegan/dietary restriction options)

Adam's mountain cafe is definitely a must stop if you are in the Colorado Springs/manitou area! We have family in the area and stop at Adam's at least once each time we come through! They have a big menu and lots of awesome vegan options! Literally the best Vegan French Toast I've ever had! Also, don't skip the juice! Their in made in house juices are so yummy! Our waitress, Memphis, was phenomenal!

Had a lovely meal here. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Tried 2 dishes and shared with a friend. Staff were pretty friendly. My only star deduction is that it was $25 for the senegalese bowl with sesame tofu. Super delicious and full of flavor but a bit spendy for no meat or cheese. My husband had the whole wheat pancakes which were apparently really good!

LOVE this place. So homey and welcoming. I've always had a great experience coming here. Food is always great and consistent! This place also has great options for vegans or vegetarians, which is so helpful when you're trying to accommodate different diets. Side note: I really appreciate the parking lot and how you don't have to stress about where to park especially when in Manitou!

The mountain view outside the windows was gorgeous. Based on the ambiance inside the restaurant, it looked like a more upscale restaurant, which is why I can understand the dress code, but the vibe seemed quite casual. And I was surprised at how kid-friendly it was! There were multiple people there with little children. Our waiter was nice and attentive. For appetizers, we ordered the Trout Rillettes and baby gem salad. The trout was very creamy and the salad was underwhelming for $16... it may look big in the photo because of the angle but it was small and it reminded me more of a wedge salad. For dinner, I had the Seared Salmon with crab fried rice, it was underwhelming for the price, and my husband had the Seared Red Snapper and said it was "too fishy". He didn't finish it. The kids entree, chicken tenders and fries, was a very generous portion and of course, she loved it. Overall, view was amazing, service was good, food was underwhelming for the price.

When we arrived, there were multiple open tables right by the windows. I politely asked if we could sit at one of them, and the hostess immediately shut it down, saying those tables were assigned to certain servers. That may be how things work internally, but as a guest, it should not feel like you are being denied something that is clearly available, especially when you made the effort to request it ahead of time. What stood out even more than the refusal was the attitude. There was no warmth, no attempt to accommodate, and no sense of hospitality just a cold, dismissive interaction. First impressions matter, and this one set the tone for the entire experience. Unfortunately, the food did not make up for it. My country fried steak was dry and lacked any crispness, like it had been sitting out for a while instead of being freshly prepared. The potatoes had the same issue dry, stale, and not worth the price. Nothing tasted fresh. I will say our server was kind and tried to do a good job, and the view is undeniably beautiful. But a great location cannot carry an experience when the basics hospitality and food quality fall short. At the end of the day, this is not just about one table or one dish. It is about how guests are made to feel. People spend their time and money here expecting a welcoming experience, especially when celebrating moments or simply wanting to enjoy the setting. Being met with indifference and attitude instead of basic courtesy is disappointing. Think twice before booking here. A beautiful view means very little when the hospitality is poor and the food feels neglected. I hope management takes a serious look at how guests are treated from the moment they walk in and asks themselves a simple question: if you were the customer, would this experience feel acceptable?

I have to admit that the ambience is really cool; you walk down into a basement to enter the restaurant, which used to be the city morgue, and while that's a little bit creepy, it gives the space a dark, velvety vibe that I think some people would really like. However, for a higher-end establishment, I found the service to be kind of spotty and not quite up to par. My biggest disappointment was the food, as we ordered two entrées to share and found both to be rather disappointing and honestly kind of bad, which was especially frustrating given how expensive they were. While it might have just been the specific dishes we chose, the combination of high prices, underwhelming food, and inconsistent service means I likely won't be back, even if the unique atmosphere was interesting to see once.

I had Julia's Child (beef bourguignon with mushrooms, carrots, onions, and bacon in red wine gravy). We had a side of Fried Brussels Sprouts, which were super-crispy, tossed in house-made honey mustard, and topped with crispy bacon. OMG!
