My wife and I were pretty excited about a new experience and a fun lunch. The place was disappointing to say the least. The servers weren't really friendly or outgoing. The value was severely lacking- a reported 5 ounce burger (looked small) and literally about 10 crinkle cut fries, a 12 ounce drink served in styrofoam and a vanilla malt to go costs us about $50. I tried to say thank you to the server on my way out but she was busy having a loud conversation with another employee and didn't notice me. There is outdoor seating on picnic tables. The menu has a variety of sandwiches like cod fish and a fried bologna plate. But most of the menu was different burgers with cute names. The web said they served breakfast all day, there was no breakfast menu on the table and we didn't ask. All in all I'm glad I went to satisfy my curiosity but I would not seriously recommend this place to people visiting Frankfort. You would get a better deal and probably service at Hardee's.

Just don't think about it's unhealthiness when eating. The gravy that douses the samdwich is scrumptious. Add some bacon, some tomato to the turkey sandwich. So good!!! But well worth the wait. The food was amazing and the costs were way less than the normal anymore. The Mrs orders French toast and I ordered the big breakfast with just about everything you can think of for breakfast. Kudos to the kitchen staff for their speediness and our server for getting it to us still steaming. Food was incredibly tasty. We would for sure go back when we come back to town. Buffalo Trace Distillery is a mind blowing experience for a first timer. The grounds are massive…read morewith historic buildings that have been distilling, aging and bottling bourbon over 200 years. The distillation aromas in the air are intoxicating. We arranged a tour of the facility in combination with a river cruise on the Kentucky River. We signed in for our tour early, so we could shop in the distillery gift shop. I spent several hundred dollars in the gift shop buying special bourbons that you can only purchase at the distillery. I even bought Buffalo Trace dog treats. Plan at least an hour for shopping as lines are long. Fred was our tour guide. Fred was knowledgeable, humorous, interesting and passionate about Buffalo Trace. We learned the history of the distillery, saw how barrels are made, transported and stored and saw the bottling process for the Blanton bourbons. We concluded our tour with a tasting of four bourbons and a sample Kentucky Bourbon Ball. Unfortunately, the tasting was a bit rushed for us. The bourbons were good and I would have liked to make additional purchases after the tasting, but we were not able to because of the timeline for the river cruise. Parking is free. The line to check ids is long but moves quickly. There are restrooms available. I'm told dogs and kids are welcome with some restrictions, but I didn't see any. The tour of Buffalo Trace should be on every bourbon drinker or history buff's bucket list. I want to go back.

The wings here are solid and there's plenty to satisfy anyone's lunch or dinner tastes! The store is new and even so the service was spot on. There's a superb selection of beers and other cocktails as your heart desires. If you're near Frankfort or Lawrenceburg you should check it out.
