    a plate of sushi
    Lauren W.

I visited Fusion Restaurant with my boyfriend and his father a while back now but always remember the amazing sushi we had. This picture is my plate. Two different Tuna rolls of which names I have forgotten. But both incredibly delicious! The cute palm tree on my plate was the cherry on top!

    Delicious Red Snapper!!!

This restaurant was excellent! The food was the best! Better than the Cheesecake Factory. It was amazing. They have authentic Asian food here but it's on a whole new level! One of the top restaurants in Miami hands down! We had red snapper a panda roll and vanilla tempura and it was such a phenomenal price for the quality. Do not hesitate to visit!!! You'll be glad that you did!

I'm a sushi fanatic, and just ordered $70 worth of sushi rolls for dinner. This is a joke right? 18 pieces for $70?! Definitely not worth it

From there, the Ribeye Tacos were next. Sautéed ribeye , onion and shiitake mushroom tucked into a crispy gyoza shell with aji amarillo and pickled onion. These were chef kiss, Sweet, spicy, and crunchy perfection. The Salmon Pizza was also delicious. whole wheat crust, kalamata olives, house guac, and a hint of truffle. Unexpected combo, somehow worked beautifully. For seconds, the Wagyu Gyoza with purple potato puree and ponzu was good and flavorful, and the Spice Sushi Combo let us sample the truffle rainbow and hamachi serrano roll along with some nigirs... if you're torn on what to order, this is the move and If you're in a BBQ mood like i was, the Baby Back Ribs with parmesan truffle fries was phenomenal. For Dessert we got the mochi ice cream and the banana & Nutella spring roll ...honestly, just get both. The vibe is polished but relaxed, service was attentive, and the beachside setting makes it feel like a mini escape even on a Tuesday night. A must if you want sushi forward fusion with a view.

Anthony was the best bartender ever. He made great drinks. Best espresso martini I've ever had. Strong but so delicious. Our server Sian was also just amazing. She was so attentive, quick with service and made sure we were happy the entire time. The restaurant its self is gorgeous. There is an inside area plus an outside area. It is located inside the Acqualina Hotel and it's absolutely stunning. I will be dreaming about these flavors until the next time I'm here. The sushi is literally melt in your mouth. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and make everything to order. Highly highly recommend. It is pricey but so worth it.

I also loved the California roll, which was fresh, tasty, and only $9. The Thai coffee was another standout, and I would definitely recommend ordering one. The service was excellent as well. There are plenty of options to choose from, making it easy for everyone to find something they'll enjoy. Overall, this was a great dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it. We ordered some sushi to share between us, it was great and paired well with soy sauce. I ordered shrimp pad Thai, and 2 of my friends ordered chicken and beef pad Thai. The portions were very large and the noodles and shrimp came out great. The service was amazing and they gave out good recommendations when I asked, my only feedback was that the lemonade was a bit watery, however I'd definitely comeback to try their other sushi and noodle options, great try if you're in the area. Highly recommend and appreciated how welcoming and nice the staff were!

It's hidden inside Reunion Kitchen (another restaurant). First you check in with the hostess at Reunion. Then she takes you to the back, in an area you didn't know exists, where there's a dark narrow hallway and a locked door shrouded in the dark on the other end. Your hostess guides you through the dark hallway and then clandestinely punches in the code at the locked door and, voila, the door opens into a cozy serene restaurant (Blind Tiger) with a sushi counter and a few tables that can serve not more than maybe 20 people at a time. It feels small, private, tranquil, special. We were the first to arrive when it opened and we had the restaurant to ourselves for about the first half of our meal which felt amazing, like they'd opened up just for us. Our server Julian was very knowledgeable and helpful, taking good care of us throughout the entire evening. He also gave us the best recommendations on how to most enjoy the Blind Tiger experience, which we all did. The food is excellent. Everything we ate was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Some of us had the Omakase tastings and all of us tried several à la carte dishes. The Trio Crispy Rice is a must eat. The Black Cod Miso was absolutely lovely too--and it's fantastic that you can order either a half or full portion of it. The lychee martinis were crisp, clean and sweet. Definitely recommend this unique spot for a special experience!

The restaurant was surprisingly quiet, with just a few occupied tables, and it wasn't busy. Our server was friendly, attentive, and genuinely apologetic throughout our meal. I actually felt bad for her because our food took an unusually long time to come out. It clearly seemed to be an issue in the kitchen rather than with the service. We ordered two specialty rolls: the Navarro Salmon Roll and the White Hot Roll. The White Hot Roll came out first and was excellent. It featured hamachi mixed with a garlic aioli, wrapped in soy paper, topped with tuna and hot red peppers, with a drizzle of wasabi ponzu. It had a nice balance of heat and flavor, and I'd definitely order it again. Unfortunately, the Navarro Salmon Roll finally showed up 30 minutes later. I'm not sure what caused the delay, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy. I was also disappointed that the menu didn't mention the salmon was cooked. I also didn't realize that kanikama is imitation crab. Those ingredients re not for me, so I wouldn't order that roll again. To their credit, our server handled the situation very well. She was kind, kept checking on us, and brought us complimentary guava and passion fruit ice cream to apologize for the wait, which was a nice gesture. Overall, the experience was a bit mixed. I'm not in Aventura enough to make a trip back here, but I will try the Boca location.
