She offered me options for shorter lengths after a first cut and styled it beautifully and simply. I wish I could take Madison back home with me. My husband gave me a very generous gift certificate for this Spa for Mother's Day. We live out of town but his office is here so I come down to Pensacola Beach with him frequently. With the gift certificate I was able to get 2 premium services and the ladies that provided them were nothing short of amazing. Tricia gave me an Elemental Nature Massage which was divine and I cannot recommend Megan enough for the Dual Exfoliation Facial I had. Both of my technicians were very experienced in their specific areas and I couldn't have had a better experience. I cannot recommend this place enough! I will come more frequently with my husband for sure now!! LOL. BEST. PLACE. EVER. The support staff for buying product and/or just checking out were just as awesome! 5 stars all around!!! read more

She is mindful, caring, responsive, focused, and can detect trouble spots with ease. As her massages can be both gentle and intense - they leave me relaxed and revived. OMG!! Thank goodness for places like this. I waited until I arrived in Pensacola to color my hair. The place I went to did ok but the color was definitely not what anyone expected. I called Fusion two days later after looking at my hot mess of a hair color. They were able to schedule me in with Hunter, a lovely young lady and very patient. Whew! She had a magic wand up her sleeve. I looked completely different when I walked out and my hair felt amazing. My only concern was the color that did not come off before I left around my hairline. But it is fine now ! This place does miracles quickly. I am already thinking about a spa day on my next visit! Thank you ladies!! read more

I had to call at least a half dozen times just to actually get someone to answer the phone. I finally manage to make a reservation and they tried to bump me an hour before my appointment. I had a very important engagement that day and raised holy hell so the management managed to "fit me in." I tell you I walked out of there looking like Pee Wee Herman aka the worst haircut of my life. Not recommended. read more

I was planning a weekend with my husband to the beautiful Pensacola Beach. We decided to do a couples massages . I called Fusion Spa Salon and I talked to Lexi. I made reservations for Saturday. I decided to call on wednesday to confirm since I haven't heard from them. (I made the reservation 2 weeks before). To my surprise, we were not on the books. No availability at all. I have to say the almost ruined the whole romantic weekend. I'm glad I call Portofino Island Resort & Spa and they were able to add us to their reservation book. I will never refer people to Fusion Spa Salon ever again. Worst reservation experience ever! read more

NEVER GO HERE!!! Yesterday I took my Girlfriend here to have a Color, Highlight, and a Light cut, ( to Style the hair in) and what she got was a WTF???? I don't know anything about hair, But I know her hair is totally SCREWED-UP, like bad, she left the salon crying it was so bad, the color was so terrible her hair looked grey, mind you she got a level 6 darken( Almost Dark Auburn) with streaks, well the streaks.....was supposed to go all though the hair.....NOPE, didn't even complete the strains that was done...still had white in it...UGH, and then.....CHOPPED damn near half her hair off??????? WTF, I mean really, we had pictures and everything, but that's not what we got at all, it was the worst job I had ever seen, and I don't know anything about hair.....and that was the 7th salon we went to before making our choice on this salon.......BAD IDEA, they dont know shit for what they are doing, and the price we paid......I got ripped off, My kid can do a better job, for real read more

I had a great experience with Kayla, she was able to accomplish the exact color and shade of blonde I was going for after multiple attempts at other salons. She remembered me, knew exactly what my hair needed, and made quick and perfect work of it. She was calm and fun. I thought it would be a nice experience seeing that they deal with many clients from all over being in a vacation location. I was sadly disappointed in many ways. Even though the salon was clean and presented to be an upmarket and knowledgeable staffed facility don't let that fool you. My stylist had absolutely no personality and as I was fine with her asking a more senior associate for help, she had absolutely no clue on color. My result was as if I had added some sun in to the front of my hair and layed in the sun for a couple of hours. The underneath was almost exactly the same dark color as when I walked in and I know I was specific as to wanting no color differences and a full blonde blend. Even the stylist knew it was not what I wanted but her personality just did not lend to her being even remotely helpful to remedy the poor color job. She just shrugged and agreed it was not what I wanted. Overall, I would not use this salon ever again and if you are in need of color and desperate, at least ask for an experienced colorist. read more

While traveling I went to Fusion Salon and had my hair cut. The stylist - Sharon - was very professional. Provided service beyond the cut and blow dry I requested. Gave a dry hair oil massage, hand massage while hair is wrapped in warm towel conditioning and cut that was just was I requested. If in the area of Pensacola Beach I would highly recommend this salon, especially Sharon. read more

I had Melanie, and asked specifically for someone experienced in cutting curly hair. She did wonderful! One of the best hair cuts I have EVER had. She took a lot of time during the consultation to get a feel for what I wanted, and did not fail to deliver! I usually hate getting my haircut because I hate the outcome, but even with getting like 5 inches I was so happy when I left! I also got an eyebrow design, and she made my eyebrows look so beautiful. I definitely recommend Melanie for anyone who is nervous about getting their hair cut. She's one of the best! read more

The absolute worst salon experience I have ever had, and abysmal customer service. In trying to get the Celtic Red color promoted all over Aveda Salon's walls, I left with black hair with a few orange streaks and splotchy brown. The stylist had me brush my own hair out after the wash, left my hair thick with leftover color after drying, then told me that leaving the color on my hair wouldn't hurt it. I insisted that she wash it out again, and then had to insist that she use shampoo. For a second time, I had to towel dry it myself and brush my own hair out. The stylist also completely ruined my clothes with hair color. I explained my dissatisfaction to the stylist, Deanna, whose reply was a shrug and "don't forget your phone charger".. I then told the receptionist at the front desk, who phoned the manager, "Jen". Jen refused to speak with me and had the receptionist tell me to photograph my hair and send an email. I took the time to photograph my hair from every angle (while still there in the salon) as well as my ruined clothes, and emailed them to Jen along with a request for a phone call. She has not responded to my call in 3 days. Since I cannot get a courtesy call from the salon, I am responding here, and everywhere else I can share a review, in an effort to save other potential customers the frustration. read more

Fusion Spa seems like a nice place to get your hair and makeup done for your wedding. It has a nice atmosphere and extremely courteous staff over the phone. But don't be fooled. I was told it would only take about an hour and a half for a simple half up curly hair do and makeup... Once I arrived, I waited in a room for 20 minutes past my appointment time. Then I was taken to the salon where I showed my stylist 5+ photos of the same exact hair style. Half-up/half-down with loose curls.. 45 minutes later I had Annie ringlets and a bouffant but she assured me the curls would loosen up as the day went on. Next was makeup. I am a very pale redhead, which I was assured prior to my appointment would not be a problem. They were obviously unprepared because even the lightest makeup they had was for a tan person. To top it off the only waterproof makeup was jet black mascara.. So, 2 1/2 hours and $150 later, I walk out looking like an oompa loompa with a 60's beehive. I am not joking. I called my mother on the way back to the hotel in tears and asked she meet me. I wiped off the caking of makeup and proceeded to start over. One of our guests happened to be a retired hairstylist so she attempted to fix my hair. But with all of the hairspray there was little she could do. I managed to make my makeup pretty decent and the hair was livable. Overall, do not waste your time and your money at this place particularly if you happen to be getting married the same day. This was the only bad experience of my entire wedding. I am AMAZED they let me walk out of there looking the way I did. Much less pay full price and wave me out the door. It has been a month since the wedding, and I have waited this long to write a review so hopefully I could be less biased. But at the end of the day, this place is awful. read more

Hate to burst bubbles on here, but my daughter and I wanted to do something special together. Couldn't do: Dead Sea scrub and/or massage or the acne back treatment as "that person was done for the day" ‍it was ONLY 3:00pm. We settled for pedis @ $55/each. Unlike NY, where I am from, they barely filed/brushed the soles of the feet. She, don't remember her name, abrased the perimeter of all of my toenails with a coarse file. By the time she neatened up the edges of polish w/ acetone, I jumped thru the roof burning on fire. Needed to dip my feet back into the water. The polish (O P I )came off shortly after in one big chunk. All they were concerned was putting us into the Relaxation Room before and after. They really should remove their affiliation with AVeda. It makes their name look sour. A waste of time as well as $55/each plus tips not worth giving. I'll definitely be back.... to......the.......beach read more
