Literally the worst nail experience I've had at a nail salon. Showed the girl a reference photo, asked if she could do simple lines, she said sure then I got that. She tried to just do the powder as the base at first...no polish. It was clear and bubbly so I asked for polish? She was very annoyed and honestly a little rude. Wonderful service ! I went around 2pm / 3pm I called the same day to make an appointment but it was not needed. The person I went to was T, he was a young guy. Very energetic and talkative. I would definitely go again. And it took him 20 to apply tips and shape me, which is not long at all I was out of there within an hour. 10/10 recommend. read more

I was extremely apprehensive about going to any salons during COVID, but I scoped this place out and decided to give it a try after seeing that they use disposable plastic liners in their pedicure basins, which is usually a great sign. It's ultra spacious and they offer a variety of nail care and waxing services. They're extremely professional; I was most impressed by their protocol for sanitation and social distancing. They're currently operating by an appointments-only basis, masks are required, and they encourage you to only enter the premise at your precise appointment time to avoid crowding. Plenty of clear panels hang throughout the salon to shield the space between you and the technicians. Upon entering, they'll take your temperature with a thermal device. You'll be asked to wash and sanitize your hands before and after your appointment and they also sanitize the work spaces in between clients. I'm very happy with the way my full acrylic set turned out! I did nails for over 13 years, and I can vouch that they do quality work here! Even though I feel the pedicure was overpriced for what they did, I'm appreciative that there's a safe and clean place where I can go to get pampered. Extra Brownie Points! The buffers, nail files, pumice stone foot scrubbers, and toe separators for pedicures are one-time use and then thrown away or you can keep them! The salon is located right behind Captain D's in the same shopping center as Grocery Advantage (cool grocery store that also carries some somewcraft beers!), and there's plenty of parking. read more

came here with my sister for her birthday and to say the least we got ripped off for mani's and pedis both classic. In which I was charged $100 and she was charged $85 no acrylic involved!!! we both got classic pedis ($45 w gel) and manis ($25 with gel) I got designs (simple stripes) on mine and she got plain white on both her hands and feet so you're telling me I paid $30 extra for a design and she paid $15 extra for what exactly ? Because Last time I checked taxes weren't that high. It should've been at MOST $75 for hers and maybe $85 POSSIBLY $90 for mine but that's pushing it. Not to mention the lady I had kept messing up my nails when I asked for separated glitter on the bottom and for some reason she starts lining the top of my nails because she thinks "it looks good". not coming back and I hope she needed the money to be honest because the manicure was POOR. also had a birthday today asked for a discount didnt get one. The lady was the one w a curly pony tail maybe a few light brown streaks in it she usually does pedicures sits in the very back in the nail section by the window in the corner. AVOID her. read more

Best pedicure I've had in a very long time. I was in Pensacola and needed a pedicure. Asked around and was told to come here. And it was great advice. The wonderful lady who took care of me was Dee Dee. She was tender and her hands felt like a dream. The most relaxing portion of my visit. She even stayed late to do my nails. I went for the Deluxe, which included massage, wax for my feet, and hot towel wraps. At a mere $ 35.00 it was a steal. Plentiful colors to choose from and all of the staff was friendly. Couldn't pick a better place to go for a pedicure. There were lots of takers there for manicures as well, so I venture to say they are also good at those. The space itself is roomy so there is no problem with having room to breath and relax. So, this place is a win-win. If you're in Pensacola and need a Pedi, this is the place to go! read more

I have been a regular at Nail World for about 5 months now. I have never considered going anywhere else, even with so many options closer to me! I always see Tom, who is super creative with his nail designs and always charming and professional. To clarify, he does not paint the swirly little designs that you'd normally get on solid polish; he actually creates whole "looks" with foils and glitter colors and rhinestones...beautiful! He also works very cleanly and quickly! He's not too talkative (which I actually appreciate because I'm not a huge chatterbox and I just want to relax). I've had a couple basic pedicures done at Nail World (not by Tom) and I'll say they're "good." Not too memorable for one reason or another. My last pedicure didn't really wow me as I like a really good massage (if it comes with the pedi then I expect it to at least be a good one!) and I didn't feel like the massage was really firm enough or long enough to actually relax me. My toes looked pretty though! I would definitely recommend Nail World, and I have actually! If you can get in with Tom he's great, it Autumn, who [I believe is] one of the owners. She's very sweet and always tries to squeeze me into the schedule if she can. She's great too! read more

We're from out of town, coming into a new place was made surprisingly fun and easy. We were sat immediately where me and my boyfriend got side by side M pedicures. Neither of us waited and they WENT IN. They took their sweet time on my boyfriends abused manly feet, and my long over due ones. Got a classic shellac pedicure with Kate. She was very attentive and did a nice job. I definitely would come back here. Only reason why I'm not giving this spa five stars is that the smell is a little overwhelming when you first walk in. You do get used to it though after being there a while but is very strong in the beginning. I thought the atmosphere was nice considering it is in a strip mall. The pedicure chairs are very modern and the massage that they give is relaxing. Also, I did find this place to be very clean and sterilization techniques were used. Walked right in with no wait. I wish I could give this place zero stars... Go to Starlight Nails nearby, they saved my day!!!! Originally, I called "Nail World" close by the night before and made an appointment to get my nails done at 9am the next morning. I told them I needed my nails done because I was getting married later on in the day. I get to Nail World on time and waited until 9:15 because I understand people can be late... but no one ever came!!! I was a little upset because I told them I really needed to get my nails done. Luckily, Starlight Nails was next door to save my day. I told them what was going on and the owners there were so nice and were able to give me a mani and pedi at the same time!!!! I have visited this salon a few times over the last 2 years that I've lived in Pensacola. I usually don't get my nails done but I do like to get a pedi every so often. So the last time I was there, I got a pedi and ended up getting my nails done as well. Everything went well other than the toes and what I wanted they couldn't do. (Hibiscus flower on the big toe). It was a little pricy in my opinion but I went with it. I got the powder color on my nails so I'm assuming that's not expensive. Well today I went in and showed the lady what I wanted. She took the old off and started with the new. The pic I showed had glitter on the white tips. So when she was done I asked if she was going to put the glitter on the tips. Her response was "No. We done". Hmm. Not exactly what I'd tell a paying customer. She then told me she'd give me $5 off. My total for just my nails (no toes today) was still $45. After the $5 discount. So you're telling me that power color is $50??? I won't be visiting again. read more
