Kim barely cut my cuticles, kept putting my hands in the same dirty water over and over again, and also used the water to rinse off her hands! She stuck her cuticle pusher in the bottle of cuticle softener, so I can tell she does that with everybody not very clean if you ask me. The only thing I saw her clean the cuticle cutter with, was a cotton ball and wiped it off. She handed me over to Anne to finish my nails and butchered my cuticles, showing me how much Kim had missed and cut my finger in the process. I originally told Kim I wanted one nail to be chrome for an accent nail when I told Anne what I wanted she didn't know what an accent nail was. Kim reassured me that we would find something similar to chrome because she didn't want to charge me 10 for all my nails since I only wanted one. They had nothing similar. I ended up getting all my nails, the same color, no accent nail because there was nothing similar to chrome. Also, the nail polish was very cheap. It took about five coats just for it to not look so see-through. You get what you pay for, a gel manicure here was $38. read more

As I am new to the Pensacola area I checked out places near me that do messages, nails and facials. I found Kim's. I received a thorough facial. I wonderful message that helped my back and neck. My manicure and pedicure were very relaxing and very protective of my thin fingernails. The nail techs knew what they were doing. As I have been receiving manicures and pedicures for 25+ years I am aware of how long manicures and pedicures should be. I have been coming to Kims for over 18 years and never had an issue. It is a basic nail salon but good for a last minute pedi or mani. The spa side that opened in the last 2 years is very nice and more peaceful then the other side but the prices are slightly higher. To me it's worth it. I don't really know how I feel about this business right now. I came about 9:15 am the owner watered her plants and walked around until I guess she figured no one else would get to me. She did my pedicure and lets just say it wasn't the best. Never a greeting or a good morning. The owner KIM didn't speak or talk or interact with me and I know she speaks English. Customer Service was really lacking. After working in customer service for 30 years I felt like I was paying them to be bothered with me. Wanted me to pay also before my pedicure was dry like I was gonna run out. Full figured woman that's not happening. read more

The pedicures here are pretty comparable to everywhere else. I go here when I'm on a time crunch. I don't like getting waxed here. The last time I got waxed, the lady sneezed and then she touched my face afterwards. I was so grossed out. Plus they rub so much baby oil on my face afterwards that I break a few days afterwards. read more

They smile in your face while your there but before you leave look over everything and make sure it's exactly how you like your mani/pedi because if you go back just a few minutes later because maybe you need a minor touch up or maybe you bumped your nail and need a touch up, then you get the attitude and all the chinks start talking their language to one another and you know it's about you. Then they fix your request with anger and begin telling you that you did it and that they did their job.... I WILL NEVER BE BACK.... Best pedicure ever! I moved across town and I still drive 25 minutes to go here even though I have multiple places much closer! I don't get the regular pedicure I get the spa pedicure. $40 and it last well over an hour! they use hot rocks and their oils smell soooo good!! You also get hot tea and it's delicious!! They're always sweet! Only thing a few of their chairs are a little loud they may need replaced soon. read more

Wish I didn't even have to give one star. I would give -5 stars to this so called "spa" due to the incompetencies of the technicians. I am not sure her name but she was a younger woman. Never even asked me my name or how I was doing. The only words we spoke was when I had to tell her several times "Ouch, stop that hurts." The first time I told her it was hurting she said "sorry" didn't even look at me or give me an genuine apology. The second time she tried to make me feel as if the sharp blade that penetrated and broke my skin was my fault. But the customer is always right? NOPE that's not their customer service. She is not the only one. The woman across from me getting her nails done had also said "ouch" several times during her visit. I came here to relax and it was only the opposite. After cutting my cuticle beds she messed my toe nail polish up and had no consideration when wiping her half ass job off with acetone that it may burn my open skin. I would NEVER return and I honestly don't even know how they are still in business. The AC wasn't really working and no one spoke the ENTIRE time me and 5 other customers were in salon. No music in the background and every employee looked as if they hated their jobs. The drying machines look like they are about 20 years old with all the dust on them. Worst and most painful experience of my life. If you are wanting to relax take your business elsewhere because the only thing I am leaving here with is the fear of staff infection from my punctured toe. read more

I recently went to Kim's for a pedi, full set of acrylic nails, and an eyebrow wax. I don't usually use that salon, but it was located near where I was getting an oil change, so I went there while I was waiting. I definitely would not recommend this salon. The employees do not speak or understand English well at all. Usually, when I get a pedi, my polish will last for weeks or even months, but within the first week after going to Kim's, my toenail polish started to come off. Also, after I got my eyebrows waxed, I broke out severely in all the areas that were waxed. That has never happened before, so it leads me to believe there was some cleanliness issue with their tools or something. read more

I have even told them while they were doing the ped that they needed to spend alittle more time on certain areas but they didn't seem to care. I believe it is just certain ones that work there.
