If I could eat here every week, I would. The doi fuchka was so good and it was so fast. Service was also great and they have multiple payment options.
This was so good! The fuska was stuffed with boil egg and I think potato too. It was so flavorful and super filling. The milk tea was also really flavorful and delicious. I recommend paying with cash but they do take Apple Pay as well. There are some chairs next to the cart if you wanted to "dine in". Overall I would 100% visit again. Next time I would want to try the chaat.
Feels a little messier and the flavors are a bit mixed up than their counterpart, Tong, around the corner. Their fuschka is very good and I would eat it anytime, but since my favorite version is right there, I rarely come here.
We usually go to Tong to get fuskhas, which is right next to Fuskhahouse, but this time we decided to try something new. Despite the long line, it moved quickly thanks to the efficient team running the food truck. One person was dedicated to taking orders, and everyone working there was very friendly. There are several benches nearby, making it easy to sit and enjoy your food or wait comfortably. The menu offers a variety of tempting options, but what I really liked about this place more then others was that they had hot tea (Chai) which is a bonus. We ordered the Doi Fuskha and the Bhel Puri, and both were absolutely delicious. Very flavorful and perfectly prepared. Next time we are in Jackson Heights, we will stop by again to try more items.
This was the spot I was looking forward to most on my food tour, and it did not disappoint! I was excited to try fuchka, the Bengali version of what I know as pani puri. We opted to try the dahi fuchka, which was light, savory, and crispy. The tamarind sauce added a nice tang that tied all the flavors together. We demolished the tray immediately, and I found myself wishing we had gotten a second plate. I cannot wait to go back for this exact dish, and to try others! The staff was cordial in explaining some of the ingredients for a friend that was curious, and they accepted venmo for payment to avoid a credit card charge fee.
had a craving and was in jackson heights - i am SO glad i researched this spot for some authentic street food i got the pani puri since i wanted something carb dense but savory and these were SO GOOD! the pani was sour and the puris were stuffed with all the good stuff. the price is incredibly reasonable and they made it super quick so service was indeed there i def will be back and bring friends so we can get chaat and a bunch of stuff to split it and enjoy
This place offers a variety of phuckas and panipuris. We tried the dahi phuchka and the regular phuchka, and I personally preferred the dahi phuchka. It was incredibly delicious, and I couldn't resist sipping the extra dahi from the plate. If you're feeling nostalgic about your home, I highly recommend this place.
I've basically tried everything on their menu at this point and love it all. They are worth the hype. Authentic flavors that had my nose running, eyes watering, mouth salivating and my soul happy. Coming from West Bengal, this is the type of pani puri I grew up eating and was so happy to have the nostalgia in New York. Service is quick, if you're eating near the stall, you can ask the vendor for more "jhol"- the spicy, tangy water, and they are always kind to refill the little container.
This food cart, like many of its competitors in Jackson heights, serves authentic Bangladeshi street food. My mouth is watering as I think back on the incredible fuska I had here earlier this month (and it was only $7!). There was so much flavor with each bite of potatoes, chilies, onion, and shaved egg. I can't wait to try all of the other items they serve!
I love Fuska and this place is so good! I used to go to Tong more often but honestly, I cannot tell the difference between Fuskahouse and Tong. Also, this place has 2 food trucks on the same street, not to be confused with Fuskacart. You order first, and if you're going to eat it there, you pay afterward. Panipuri - To be honest, I really don't know what the difference between panipuri and fuchka is, although I know that they originate from completely separate geographic areas. I feel like panipuri's little "container" felt more empty, so maybe it didn't have as much potato filling inside. - Dahi Fuchka - I love fuchka, especially dahi fuchka as the yogurt helps contrast the bite of the crackers on top. I also love both the sweet flavors of the chutney water contrasting the saltiness of the potato filling. This is a perfect bite on a hot summer day or during the winter too. Love all the fuchka carts in the region and you really cannot go wrong with any of them.
Stopped here as part of a Jackson Heights food crawl where I was trying the three trucks in this area (it's located next to Fuchka Garden and Tong). The fuchka was great, though I think the other two trucks had the slight edge. Worth trying all three!
If you're craving some real-deal Bengali street food, Fuskahouse in Jackson Heights is where it's at. We tried the Dahi Fuska, the regular Fuska, and the Jhalmuri. Heads up--everything is super spicy, so if you're not into heat, tread lightly. The Fuska is kinda like Panipuri, but with chickpeas, and the Dahi Fuska has yogurt, which we liked even better than the regular one. Both were still really good and definitely affordable. The Jhalmuri was tasty too, but it got soggy pretty quickly, so maybe eat that fast. Overall, great food, and the vibe in Jackson Heights really makes you feel like you're in a different city. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and want to try something unique and flavorful! read more

$7 cash (8$ with card) for the basic fuchka and WOW this was amazing. I've never had it before but I loved the complex mix of textures with the crispy shell and the mushy pea filling. I got not spicy and it had a delicious little kick with the sweet tamarind water sauce. Loved it. The wait wasn't bad at all, but this is definitely the most popular one in the area since it's the original. They have two trucks owned by the same people to meet the demand during busy times. read more
In 2024, I had seen several social media clips of pani puri and I just needed to know what it was. Several minutes of research and one cancelled LGA flight later, I found myself in Queens with a car and some time to kill. Fuskahouse's menu is shown brightly on the cart with large photos and English descriptions on the left below the cart's window. The employees are super nice and they take tap to pay in case you've forgotten cash. Between the fuchka and the pani puri, I think I prefer the pani puri for the extra crunchy fideo-shaped topping. If you've never had pani puri before, I'd closely compare the flavors to Trader Joe's spicy chakri mix with lots of lovely warming spices, with diced raw white onion and chopped spicy green chilies. Visiting the cart is a trip in itself as there are multiple different carts to pick from but the same crunchy tak-tak-tak sounds coming from all as they shatter the tops of the fried shells before filling each. read more

We stopped by for a quick snack of pani puri, and were super happy with what we got. There are some chairs set up next to the cart for you to sit at, which was unexpected but well appreciated! The pani puri itself was awesome. Super flavorful, especially with a solid drenching of the tamarind water. Very fresh ingredients, with nice crunch from all the relevant ingredients. Overall, great spot, and definitely give it a go next time your'e in Jackson Heights! read more
I was intrigued by the photo of Pani Puri as I walked by, and decided to give it a try. I'm really glad I did -- it was a fun thing to eat! The proprietor of the cart was super friendly. He seemed to care whether I liked it or not, and he also suggested I try several different sauces on top (see photo attached.. the white sauce is a yogurt, and the other two both had some spice/heat levels, and good flavor). The texture of the exterior shell was crispy, and the filling had lots of interesting spices (I think it had chickpeas?). The price was very affordable. I think like $6 or so? Cash only. I honestly don't know what fuchka is before I tried Fuskahouse. I don't even remember how I came across Fuskahouse. It was bookmarked on my list so during my layover at JFK Aiport I decided to venture out to Jackson Heights to check it out. I ordered the Doi Fuchka to eat in front of the cart. After placing the order I was told to take a seat on one of the plastic stools until I get called. It probably took 15-20 minutes until my order was ready because the guy was still preparing a few other orders ahead of me. Once I got my hands on the food I devoured all of it super quick. It was creamy from the yogurt, crunchy, a bit spicy and full of flavor. It was a super cheap and filling meal for $6. It's similar to the Indian pani puri so if you enjoy that then you'd enjoy fuchka. Overall a very tasty, cheap street eats and a good intro to Bangladeshi food. read more
Always wanted to try fuchka from a cart. Was gonna go to Tong but my cousin-in-law recommended this. Got the dahi (yogurt) fuchka. Too spicy for me but at least the yogurt balanced it out a bit. It was so good, reminded me of the fuchka my aunt makes. This is the 1st time I tried the dahi version & I love it just as much as the OG version. Spice & other flavors in every bite. Tamarind sauce was amazing too. read more

Neat little place for Indian street snacks. It's definitely an acquired taste and may not be something for everyone's palate. Either way, it's worth a try. I had the guava masala salad. It was quite good. I didn't like the aftertaste of the bitter sauce. I would have made it different. read more
First time trying bengali style fuska and it was so good! They had a few of the trucks lined in the street. We tried the egg one and dahi one. The dahi one was my favorite. I'd recommend eating it right away as it tastes best when it is fresh and the puri shells are crispy. read more

Fuskahouse The true original. Neighborhood standout among competitors. always fresh and fast friendly service. If you're a fellow hedonist, take one per big bite. Crunchy flavor explosion in your mouth. The shredded egg filling always blows my mind. The texture tastes like the lightest cheese without the dairy blow up Approved by Bengladeshi bengalis. So you know this spot is legit. Very accommodating for gluten free, dairy free friends. read more
Definitely a staple on your visit to Jackson heights. The fuska was crispy and delicious. The tamarind sauce had a nice zing and filled up each ball. If you like yogurt sauce, I highly recommend the yogurt fuska as that was rich and creamy. read more

I saw this spot on tiktok and it was something I craved for a while. After my first time, I just kept coming back, even coming back with cousins who had never been to NYC and were from florida. We all loved it so much and the flavor was so buss. Only thing is due to its popularity, it gets so crowded and everybody lines up so long for this spot. read more
If you come to Jackson Heights and you don't try this, you're missing out in life. Because you are missing the most flavorful street food ever. This is my go to place every time I'm around the area. Fuska House is a small cart on the side of the road that serve street food made in Bangladesh. There are 3 other carts around the area. However, to me this is the best one. Their prices has gone up recently because of inflation but, it's still very worth it. They make some very authentic Bengali fuchka/fuska. It'll make you feel right at home if you miss the ones made in Bangladesh. The people working are very friendly. You get around 7-8 pieces with a tamarind sauce in the middle. You take a spoonful of the sauce and put it inside the fuchka. Then you eat it. You will taste so much flavor with each bite it's unbelievable!! They also make jhaal muri, bheel puri, doi fuchka and many more other food so make sure to come check them out! . read more

If you've never tried a fuska, this is the spot to go! It was my first time trying this Bangladeshi street food, and I honestly will come back for more! The flavors are insatiable! First you put the warm tamarin soup into the pocket of each crispy ball. The inside has some flakes of egg, cheese, and spicy peppers. It has a soft chickpea filling that tastes like hummus. All together, it's a delicious explosion when you put it into your mouth. I've never had anything like it! It's a great light food, I had it after a large meal and I could definitely eat the whole thing! Would love to come back here and introduce my friends to this amazing dish. The first bite you don't sense the spice but after 2-3 you start getting the really spicy kick. There was a line outside this food truck and it took about 10-15 min for them to bring us our fuska and tart mango. It was worth every wait! There are stools outside too but it was a cold day so we had to take it somewhere else to eat. It's best eating warm! The crust will get too soggy and you won't have the full experience. read more

Let me start out by saying that being Bangali, I am a huge fan of fuchka. Lived in NY for so many years and tried fuchka in too many places, but I was always left disappointed as the shell was hard, or the inside was cold, or just simply wasn't good. Then came Tong (the competition) and I became an instant fan! I had Tong for a couple of years straight and refused to have fuchka from anywhere else! Maybe a year ago, one of my friends made me try fuchka from Fuchkahouse, and I instantly became a fan. Don't get me wrong, Tong is still amazing, but Fuchka House is slightly better. I really do want to try their chotpoti and other things, but the fuchka is just SO good, I can't go there and not have it! 1/1 Service; 3/3 Food; 0/1 Value As a Bengali, I have grown up eating fuska as a comfort snack, one which my family and I take very seriously and often prepare at home. My mom and I were delighted to see a street vendor dedicated to fuska and we opted for the regular fuska. The service here is also very quick and efficient. Fuska is a hollow, deep fried puri (flatbread) filled with seasoned chickpeas, mashed potatoes, masala, a tamarind chutney, and garnished with shredded egg, raw red onions and cilantro. We prefer ours very spicy with the extra chili, but skip this if you aren't used to eating super spicy food! The fuska exterior was crispy, indicating that they are prepared fresh and completely made to order. They were delicious, but we would have liked for the masala and tamarind flavors to be bolder. While the flavor was good, I have a really difficult time justifying the price of $7 for just 7 of these fuskas (note that each fuska is meant to be eaten in a single bite). It certainly runs on the pricier end for a street snack that is actually easily prepared at home. All things considered, it was still a good experience and if I'm intensely craving fuska without time to make them at home, I would revisit. read more
Any time I'm in Jackson Heights, no matter how full I am, I always end my trip by getting fuska from Fuskahouse. The seasoning is perfectly balanced and it's the perfect savory crunchy snack. Though this is a food truck, there are some chairs setup right by the truck so you can sit and enjoy the fuska there. There are a few different varieties of fuska as well on the menu! read more
Place was super busy when we happened to find this place, it was recommended on IG. Our lack of knowledge was super obvious so one of the attendants recommended one of their best sellers and being honest, the search was worth it. The order came out fast and the fuchka sauce had a sweet but tangy flavor, tamarind maybe, which was poured into a cup that tasted somewhat of lays potato chips stuffed with seasoned chickpeas. So good! Came here for a snack after doing some shopping in the area with a couple friends. We shared the Fuchka and the Jhalmuri. The Fuchka was pretty good with the sauce. My favorite was the Jhalmuri. The light crunch from the puffed rice and overall flavor were incredible. So glad I got to try this place! read more
I've gotten into the routine of coming to the food truck from NJ on weekends (that's how much I love these delicious nuggets of goodness) and ask for half pani puri and half fuska. The staff is always so accommodating and I would happily pay the $7 for this mouth watering treat. The only thing I am missing is a location closer to me so I could have this deliciousness all the time. read more

I love fuska! I've been to this truck many times for a past few years, and have always enjoyed some good fuska here. At night, this truck has a lot of people hanging out and eating, so you know it's good. The price of a fuska order has increased, so now it's $7 instead of $6. This is a must go to place in NYC! read more
Damn this was excellent pani puri! First visit to Jackson Heights post-COVID en route to Corona, and while I didn't want to ruin my appetite before a July 4th BBQ, I couldn't help but try this Bengali rendition of my favorite chaat. The warm potato sabzi inside was a perfect complement to the perfectly-spiced imli pani. I opted to go without the anda topping. I definitely prefer the pani puri here over that go-to chaat place by the main chowk next to the subway. read more

Came out to Jackson Heights in search of the original Fuskahouse and was very surprised to find numerous fuska carts all over the streets. I had seen Fuskahouse on social media and was very excited to try the offerings. We got the basic fuska plate and really enjoyed all of the flavors from the crunch exterior to the masala water. The toppings of the fuska were unique and we enjoyed the variety of each bite quite a bit. Would definitely come back out to try the other menu items. read more
Delicious. Simple dish that hits the spot. Stuffed crispy shells filled with potatoes, onions, cucumbers and spices (fuska). Sweet and sour sauce on the side. Simple and filling meal that can open your sinuses depending on the spice level. Friendly and honest owner. I drove 1.5 hours to do some shopping and eating in Jackson Heights. Getting fuska was the first stop on the list, but honestly after getting my fuska fix I would have been content to turn around and drive right back home immediately. For all the fancy restaurants in the city, I would gladly take this humble street cart over them all because they deliver on all the flavor your mouth could ever ask for! On a bone chilling winter night, the crisp green chiles immersed in the "chotpoti" will heat you up instantly. You'll be sweating soon, but don't hold yourself back, you're going to want to try it! I loved the thin, noodle-like strings of egg used in the dish, so different from any chotpoti I've had before. After the chotpoti, eat the "doi fusuka". The cool, creamy doi will put your mouth at ease. You'll just barely be able to pop the entire thing in your mouth for that one satisfying bite sending an explosion of yogurt flavor throughout your mouth. Fuska is the essential Bangladeshi street food, and Fuskahouse carries on that legacy in the US and - in some ways - surpasses it. read more
My friends and I got our fix of fuchka/fuska while in Jackson Heights. There are only two people working the truck and it gets pretty busy at evenings, so there was a wait time. It's cash only, so make sure to have that ready. We got the original fuska, doi (yogurt) fuska, and guava. Everything tasted great. I love the combo of flavors of the doi fuska with the yogurt and tamarind sauce. I think the mix that you pour into the regular fuska could use a bit more of tamarind and spice to make it even tastier and more reminiscent of Bangladesh fuchka. read more
The usual line was cleared out here on a cold Friday night. Popular food truck doling out it's namesake's snacks as well as other quick items. Decided on the regular Fuska ($6) to go, which was ready in about seven minutes. Seven balls to an order - stuffed with potato, chutney, masala, and onions. Each is surprisingly hefty (more so than regular pani puri) and packs a punch with the tangy tamarind sauce. Given the tightly packed ingredients, everything stays held together well. Good quick option for food on the street. A couple other options to try as well if looking for an easier meal on the go. read more

I've never tried Bengali street food before but the staff recommended the fuska. Holy moly! It was so good. The little round crisps were filled with yummy stuffing, and the tamarind sauce really livens it up! I am planning to come back for more! There was no line but there was a crowd of people, and there plastic stools to sit on. You can pay cash or card. read more
