Feels a little messier and the flavors are a bit mixed up than their counterpart, Tong, around the corner. Their fuschka is very good and I would eat it anytime, but since my favorite version is right there, I rarely come here.

We usually go to Tong to get fuskhas, which is right next to Fuskhahouse, but this time we decided to try something new. Despite the long line, it moved quickly thanks to the efficient team running the food truck. One person was dedicated to taking orders, and everyone working there was very friendly. There are several benches nearby, making it easy to sit and enjoy your food or wait comfortably. The menu offers a variety of tempting options, but what I really liked about this place more then others was that they had hot tea (Chai) which is a bonus. We ordered the Doi Fuskha and the Bhel Puri, and both were absolutely delicious. Very flavorful and perfectly prepared. Next time we are in Jackson Heights, we will stop by again to try more items.

This was the spot I was looking forward to most on my food tour, and it did not disappoint! I was excited to try fuchka, the Bengali version of what I know as pani puri. We opted to try the dahi fuchka, which was light, savory, and crispy. The tamarind sauce added a nice tang that tied all the flavors together. We demolished the tray immediately, and I found myself wishing we had gotten a second plate. I cannot wait to go back for this exact dish, and to try others! The staff was cordial in explaining some of the ingredients for a friend that was curious, and they accepted venmo for payment to avoid a credit card charge fee.

had a craving and was in jackson heights - i am SO glad i researched this spot for some authentic street food i got the pani puri since i wanted something carb dense but savory and these were SO GOOD! the pani was sour and the puris were stuffed with all the good stuff. the price is incredibly reasonable and they made it super quick so service was indeed there i def will be back and bring friends so we can get chaat and a bunch of stuff to split it and enjoy

This place offers a variety of phuckas and panipuris. We tried the dahi phuchka and the regular phuchka, and I personally preferred the dahi phuchka. It was incredibly delicious, and I couldn't resist sipping the extra dahi from the plate. If you're feeling nostalgic about your home, I highly recommend this place.

I've basically tried everything on their menu at this point and love it all. They are worth the hype. Authentic flavors that had my nose running, eyes watering, mouth salivating and my soul happy. Coming from West Bengal, this is the type of pani puri I grew up eating and was so happy to have the nostalgia in New York. Service is quick, if you're eating near the stall, you can ask the vendor for more "jhol"- the spicy, tangy water, and they are always kind to refill the little container.

This food cart, like many of its competitors in Jackson heights, serves authentic Bangladeshi street food. My mouth is watering as I think back on the incredible fuska I had here earlier this month (and it was only $7!). There was so much flavor with each bite of potatoes, chilies, onion, and shaved egg. I can't wait to try all of the other items they serve!

I love Fuska and this place is so good! I used to go to Tong more often but honestly, I cannot tell the difference between Fuskahouse and Tong. Also, this place has 2 food trucks on the same street, not to be confused with Fuskacart. You order first, and if you're going to eat it there, you pay afterward. Panipuri - To be honest, I really don't know what the difference between panipuri and fuchka is, although I know that they originate from completely separate geographic areas. I feel like panipuri's little "container" felt more empty, so maybe it didn't have as much potato filling inside. - Dahi Fuchka - I love fuchka, especially dahi fuchka as the yogurt helps contrast the bite of the crackers on top. I also love both the sweet flavors of the chutney water contrasting the saltiness of the potato filling. This is a perfect bite on a hot summer day or during the winter too. Love all the fuchka carts in the region and you really cannot go wrong with any of them.

Stopped here as part of a Jackson Heights food crawl where I was trying the three trucks in this area (it's located next to Fuchka Garden and Tong). The fuchka was great, though I think the other two trucks had the slight edge. Worth trying all three!

Came here a couple of times but only tried the Fuska and Panini Puri. I'm not even sure which one I like more because they're different in their own ways. But if you like it to be more filling then get the Fuska because it has eggs. This is basically a light snack, but it's super refreshing with the sweeten tamarind sauce. The service is quick, and stand against the wall to be called when your order is ready. There are also many stalls to choose from.

    Fuchka & mango chat

This was our second stop on a food cart tour in Jackson Heights. We learned the history of the owners of the food cart. They immigrated from Bangladesh and missed their street food from back home and decided to open up a food cart, which has become very successful. Unlike street carts in Manhattan, they actually have small stools where you can sit and enjoy your food, which I really appreciate. We tried the mango chat and the fuchka. The fuchka had a really nice unexpected crunch. All of the flavors blended nicely even though I found it extremely spicy. The mango chat was very tasty and refreshing. This was my first time trying Bangladeshi street food, and I really enjoyed it.

When you're the only person who looks like you in the place and you're surrounded by brown people speaking other languages, you've likely found an authentic place with great food. Ittadi was definitely that place. They have a huge buffet of food, TONS of options, but you can also tell the food is fresh. And the place was so busy that you know the food didn't sit long and was refreshed often. We tried the coconut samosa, which was large in size. It was the perfect combo of savory and sweet. We also had the egg chop, which is a hard boiled egg covered in spicy mashed potatoes and fried in a crispy breadcrumb coating. It was super spicy (in a good way) and delish. It came with a side of onions and greenery. We also had the haleem, which is a comfort dish, made of lentils. It was so warm and filling. Absolutely delicious. The employees/owners were so kind. They were really invested in us liking our food. When we didn't eat everything, they were concerned, but we told them we were on a food crawl and had to save space, otherwise we would have devoured everything. Again, this was my favorite place of the whole crawl, and I would make the trek back over to Queens just for this food.

We did receive rotten sauce one time, but never again. During Ramadan, I was really craving an Iftar box meal. My dad bought me one from this place, and it came with biryani, fritters, and fruits. I was honestly scared to try the biryani because I usually dislike the ones outside because they smell, have too much oil, or just straight up taste bad. But honestly, the biryani was so good... I was really surprised, and definitely proven wrong. I would get it again! I did find one of the fritters in the Iftar box to be mid, but I cannot remember which one as it isn't something I have ordered often. My main reasons for giving this restaurant 4 stars is because I agree with one of the other reviews that mention the ambiance not being so good. I don't think this is somewhere you could sit down and have a meal in quiet without getting overstimulated as it is next to the train station on Diversity Plaza, where a lot of people just hang out. This is one of the to-go places where people often get tea or snacks from, so you'll see people going in and out A LOT. As for service, I'm not sure what to say because it's always been my dad who ordered and dealt with the staff, so I can't say much. But he usually tells us if any restaurant staff makes him mad, so as far as I recall, he never complained about the service. Also, I have never tried the main course food items, such as pulao and roast. So I cannot comment on how those taste, but reading the other views, it seems they weren't too good. And I'm seeing that people had complaints about cleanliness of the restaurant and how there is a lack of proper plumbing systems. I guess I never noticed this because I never actually sat in the restaurant.. Maybe I should eat from here less often?

Don't get me started on fish types and their various preparation. I knew it's not a proper restaurant so my expectation was not like that. We went there with 3 other Bengali friends. You have to go to counter to see all the food items and then you can choose whatever you want. We ordered so many things, alu-chokha-baigan bharta- alu bhaja- mutton curry- ilish mach-prawn curry- some fish with gobhi- fish fry Out table was not sufficient for keeping all the dishes. My fellow Bengali friends were really happy to see this and we liked the food. Yup, we liked it. As it was more like home food and not fancy Bengali restaurant type. Everything was bringing memories from Kolkata homes. And it is not even expensive. Every item was from $4-$12. We four were there and it was $72 only and we had 6-7 dishes. Only bad thing is that from Jersey City to Queens, we had to change 2 paths, so one person it is $11 for both ways. So we spent $44 to come here and have this food. Was it worth it? I would say NO. but yes, once in while you can come.
