I don't think I've ever been here more than 5 minutes without at least being acknowledged-no matter how busy they were, even if I was looking at cheap stuff. I can't review the service department, as I have no experience with that, but I haven't heard anything negative either. The parts department has been very friendly & helpful on the few occasions I interacted with them The only reason I didn't rate McDuffie's 5 stars is due to my lack of experience with the the service department. That's a critical component when purchasing a $12,000 to $72,000 fishing boat! Having met the owner on several visits I have little doubt that it's run like the rest of his business- a tight ship! Funny how the tell tale worked before the service. I respectfully paid them their charge to fix and then I go to pick the boat up and they have drug my trailer jack and scrapped the jack to where you have to kill yourself to crank it. I get the jack retracted and they offer to give me a new one at cost. Not even split the cost of one when they actually should have replaced it. Now I can't get the jack to extend to get it off my truck so I have to go purchase a jack. My last time at this location. Update: Location replaced my tongue Jack

So I'm getting ready for the annual keys trip and 1 motor gets power and beeps but doesn't turn over. Paul the service manager helps me over the phone with easy things to check (batteries fuses etc) but still can't get it to turn over. So I try to get an appointment before I leave in less than 2 weeks the first opening is past Memorial Day weekend after we leave so Paul say let me see if Jeff will call you at the end of the day. Sure enough Jeff calls and walks me through some self diagnostic and we trace the yellow red wire back to the key switch. It had a break. Jeff waited on the phone until I confirmed the engine would turn over. These guys are the best.

I get a call back to come pick up the vehicle. Not because it is finished, but because the mechanic didn't want to work on it for some reason. I would not have wasted my time ubering to and from high springs to bring this vehicle to this company for fixing had I known that the mechanic was not serious about trying to reach a positive conclusion. When I went to pick up the van I was charged for an hour of "service" . It was made clear to me that he barely even looked at it let alone tried to make the wiring work. He explained to me how I could fix it myself. I take the vehicle home and do as he says and still no luck. I called back to see if I could bring the vehicle for fixing and the owners had to check with the mechanic to see if he would. He wouldn't. It seems the owners don't have any real power here and are just there to make appointments and give customers a false sense of security while snatching their money. They were perfectly content with taking my money and leaving me in a lurch. Avoid if possible.

We figured it needed regular maintenance -- oil change, etc -- since it probably has only about 60 hours run time on it at the most. They told us it needed a new impeller at a cost of $500. We authorized the repair. Paid for the repair. Picked up the boat and put it back in the water. First time out, just feet from the dock, the light came back on and the motor conked out. They say they have no idea what's wrong with it but we will have to pay any and all labor costs to find out. This motor was running when it went into their shop. We paid them $500 to install a new impeller. It came back completely non-functional, and they take no responsibility.
