Owner made no attempt to make it right, no offer of reimbursement or credit and not even an apology. I was hesitant but did ask nicely if anything could be done to make it right. The attitude was it is what it is - because of "slim pants" order. I would have expected better customer service than what I experienced given the high reviews, and that they would have high standards to make sure both jacket and pants match regardless of whether they were slim pants or not. Extremely pricey for basic black tuxedo for 1 night high school event especially if pants and jacket clearly did not match. It was pretty visible in pictures. I wouldn't recommend for future tuxedo rentals. There are other options.

My sisters and I ordered our bridesmaids dresses to this store for a wedding. The purchasing…read moreprocess was standard. Today we went back to try on the dresses and have them altered. My sisters dress was completely ripped at the zipper and had a food stain (textured) on the dress straight out of the packaging, ew! When we asked about it the ladies working said they could try to get the stain out but it might just be. My other sister's dress was pinned to be hemmed and when they asked for approval on the hem it was very short on one side and long on the other, the ladies tailoring gave us attitude but we asked them to make it correct 4x. It took much longer and was much more frustrating than anticipated. Adrienne at the front desk was very helpful and got us confirmation that the stain would be handled. They did discount the dress but it was a difficult experience.

I worked with Stefanie and she was my hype team- I wasn't expecting to find anything that day, and when the typical bridal styles didn't match the nontraditional look I was going for she found me a dress in the formal wear section that was not only gorgeous but under my budget! She gave excellent recommendations and was incredibly patient with helping me find something that was easy and comfortable to move in. I walked out of David's with a dress I can't wait to wear, that I'll actually be able to wear more than once! As someone who's struggled with confidence, she helped me find something that made me think "hey I look GOOD!"

She turned what could/should have been a fun, exciting experience into a most sour one. We walked out vowing to cross this 'shop' OFF our list to return to. Compared to the several other salons we visited...this 'shop' was low class...albeit 'self serve' disappointment. They are closing! Good luck to any customer who still has open business with them! I suggest a strong backup plan for getting dresses in (in the correct size!) back in time before the doors are locked.

They went above and beyond to get him what he wanted, and they didn't judge me for coming in at the last minute. I was so appreciative of the customer service that they provided, and for the fact that they still took the time to go through options with my son, even though time was working against us (my own fault). I went there on a Wednesday night, and they had a tuxedo ready and waiting for my son the very next day, just in time for prom on Friday. I just dropped these guys off a gift card to get lunch on me..... great customer service should be recognized and these guys truly provided outstanding service! My fiancé had been having difficulty finding the tuxedo/suit he wanted to wear for our upcoming wedding. After visiting a local (non-chain) suit rental shop, a nation-wide retail suit rental chain, and trying two online-only suit rental companies, he felt he was going to have to settle with a suit that he felt was "good enough." Although we've passed by the beautiful Waldorf building off Lark Street in Center Square numerous times, we've never had reason to patronize them. After noticing their few, but highly positive reviews, I encouraged my fiancé to reach out. Although Waldorf did not carry the color/style of tux my fiancé was looking for, the person he spoke with was exceptionally helpful. He referred my fiancé to another local tux rental business that had the elusive tux my fiancé was seeking. The business he referred us to was helpful and professional as well, and my fiancé can now rest easy as he did not have to settle for just a "good enough" tux, but found one that he really likes for himself and his groomsmen. Although we did not end up renting a suit from Waldorf, my fiancé was so impressed with the friendly and helpful customer service he received that he asked me to post this review. Although I am not quite sure when we will be in need of a suit/tux rental in the future, we will definitely keep Waldorf in mind if the need arises and will absolutely be dropping their name to friends who may be in need of suit and tux rentals.
