Great place to get a cold brew or a beer away from the hectic feels of downtown and campus. I spent a few hours here today with a cold brew and a doughnut catching up on work and writing in my journal. It seemed a bit busier than previous times I've been, probably because it was a Sunday afternoon. I love the natural lighting, I read best in that light. Absolutely beautiful coffee shop!! It was once a jiffy lube but now it's a cozy, open coffee place! They have huge windows which brings in a lot of natural lighting and a huge bar area with coat hangers on the bottom (huge plus!!). Their coffee is a bit pricey compared to other Corvallis locations, BUT so worth it! These guys really know what they are doing. There's also a small pastry counter with donuts, mini cupcakes, and muffins. They have a lot more seating space than their downtown location which is awesome for studying! Definitely come check this place out, it won't disappoint! read more

Worst coffee ever! The staff was friendly so that was nice but the coffee was not so nice. If like sugary milky coffee it might be fine but the actual coffee was not good at all. Tasted sour, yuck! We threw it away and went to farmers market and got much better. read more

Love tried and true. One of my favorite places to study. The interior decoration is so cute and the staff is so friendly. I always get the medium (16oz) matcha latte with soy milk. Beware of the sizing because it is actual bigger than what you think it will be so get ready to get more than what you pay. There's free WiFi so if you're looking for a place to study, this is the place. They do play music quite loudly in the cafe so if you're not a fan of a cafe that plays loud chill music, then this might not be a great study place for you. BUT they also have outside tables as well so if the weather is nice and you don't want to study with loud music, the outside tables is a great place to study as well. read more

Tried & True has some really good vibes. From the wifi password being "youlooknicetoday" to the incredible mural painted along their back wall this place radiates positivity. There is so much seating and the place is absolutely flooded with light. The baristas are super friendly and shout-out to my personal favorite Haley! She makes one mean latte. They have Tanglewood Chai in house and it's on the spicy/less sweet side, but very good. Their coffee is roasted on site and you can peek at their facilities, which is very cool. They also have a selection of pastries to choose from including cupcakes, croissants, and in house made baguette sandwiches. I would always recommend getting your drink extra-hot, because otherwise they run on the cooler side. I think it's the best place in town to set up shop to work, read, or have a study session. Worst part about this place-parking. I always park on the street because their lot is atrocious, but don't let that scare you away! read more

While taking a day trip to Corvallis we stopped at this convenient and modern coffee shop before heading home. I immediately loved the style and aesthetic of the shop which made me feel like I had stepped into a chic Portland or Seattle coffee shop. The wood furniture paired with white walls and simple decorations makes it cozy but very open. The dirty chai was the perfect amount of spicy and sweet and the service was on point. The shop was also very easy to find and they have a smaller location downtown. They even sell Lulu Macarons here which I had been wanting to try and that was a plus. Best Macarons I've had in Oregon! I'll definitely be back when I need a caffeine fix or maybe I'll just go back for those lemon and Nutella Macarons! read more

I stopped here for coffee on my way back to Portland from Yachats and was not disappointed! The iced coffee was delicious, the ambience is lovely, the people are friendly -- but all that is not even the best part. I unfortunately left my wallet in the bathroom while changing my baby's diaper, and I didn't realize until I got back to Portland. I called and confirmed it was at the coffee shop, and then they speedily shipped my wallet back to me. I was so thankful! We love the new location and the way they have coveted an old oil change place into a significant coffee shop. The big garage doors in the back opens up the place and gives it very nice ambiance. Better than that is their coffee. It is the best coffee in Corvallis. I love sitting around in coffee shops just drinking light roasted single origins. This is by far the best coffee within short driving distance from Eugene. We drive to Corvallis to just get Bespoken coffee from Tried and True. Tried and True is a wonderful coffee shop in all aspects. Great atmosphere and service, with the best coffee served in Benton County. Oregon Coffee and Tea also have outstanding coffee as does Schmidts Garden Center but they're not really coffee shops in the true sense of the word so we love coming here to Tried and True (in Southtown) over all other coffee shops in the area. The outside patio seating is a real plus in the nice weather. You won't be disappointed in their coffee's or teas. read more

Great little spot! Had the back door (an old car garage style roll up door) up and open on the day I visited. This place has a great vibe, a great variety of seating, and the best mocha in town. There is a high bar to sit at and have a beer or wine from their menu. There is a small bar facing out the window so you can type away and sip your mocha, there are tables inside to sit and chat with friends while you are enjoying a slice of pie, or there is outdoor seating if you bring fido along.
