But somehow it became a meaningless routine and a boring chore. I stopped going to the gym and took a break but was struggling to find the motivation to return. A friend invited me to try Trifecta, using a 3 day pass. At first it sounded too good to be true but turns out it is true and it is good lol I went in and read the full contract and everything they said matched the contract (see picture of contract below). It's $55 to start and $70 per month, unless you have 5 or more people signing up together then it's $55 a month (get your friends together and sign up!). It may sound expensive but in reality it's not. There is no price on wanting to better yourself and working on your health! It is also month to month and you're not stuck in a long term commitment if you don't want to. After my first workout I was in love with Trifecta and knew I was going to sign up. Hasan is the owner, he facilitates most classes, and words can't describe that man's passion for fitness. You can see how much he genuinely cares about the members and his gym. He is very helpful and knowledgeable. He has gone through his own fitness journey as well which makes him very relatable. There is also an instructor named Eric, He is very creative and energetic. He is also very passionate and plays great music (knows the lyrics to all the songs too lol). Brianna, another instructor, is the booty queen. She is very helpful with form, explaining how muscles work and making sure the booty gets sore- booty gains!!! The front desk staff are also very helpful and nice. The gym is an open room, with an office for privacy, bathroom and with all the workout supplies you need to have a great workout. They also sell protein powders, pre workout, waters etc but products are never pushed on members. They do not have child care, which can be an inconvenience for some- not for me because my furry kids can stay home alone lol Things I love about Trifecta: Very well structured classes- upper body day, lower body day, full body day etc. Classes start on time and last a total of 45 minutes to 60 minutes. Hasan always goes a full hour- yay! Every class has a Warm up, intense workout, and cool down! They play very fun and energetic music! They use a headset so everyone can hear what they're explaining. Their equipment is in great condition and they have equipment for all levels of fitness. They clean all their equipment, floor and bathroom- very clean gym. The classes are boot camp style but if you're working on a specific goal you can talk to the trainers and they will teach you how to achieve your goal- weight loss, strength, and how to modify workouts if necessary. The collective effervescence during class is euphorically intoxicating!! Everyone is there to workout hard and give it their all! Everyone motivates each other. It's a beautiful energetic community of individuals. In addition to the regular classes, they offer other options such as accountability programs and special challenges. Other cool things are offered like hiking groups, workouts at the beach etc. I am beyond happy I joined Trifecta, this is the best I have felt physically and mentally!

My fiancé and I decided to try personal training at Boss Fitness, and now we're completely hooked. The owner, Mario, is fantastic--he creates workouts that are both effective and genuinely fun. Shortly after we started, I injured my Achilles (not at the gym), and I was worried I'd have to stop training altogether. The…read moreproblem is that I've NEVER liked any of the traditional types of Cardio you find on the gym floor. It wasn't until my Sister suggested to me that I should try Zumba as a form of Fitness/Cardio, thinking I would actually enjoy making "dance" the solution for getting my Cardio in. She was RIGHT! That 1 hour of nonstop dancing is the most effective cardio exercise I've ever done. My first experience with Zumba was at the gym in which I was doing my weight training. The atmosphere was fine but, definitely a more subdued "gym atmosphere." One day a woman I'd met there told me that I should try Danzar stating it was "more fun." I thought, "More fun?!...than this!?" This I had to see for myself! The following week I went to Danzar and found out she was RIGHT. The atmosphere was much more communal and that of a 1 hour Dance Party. The energy was off the hook and it was clear the folks there had forged a wonderful connection with Danzar and each other. I've been a regular there ever since! When you are gathered together with a large group of people, moving in harmony with one another to an insanely infectious rhythm, you feel you are all part of a tribe. A tribe forged by joy! This is Danzar! If you've ever thought of trying out Zumba, come to where you'll have the richest experience. Come with me to Danzar and dance for JOY!
